Dainty Doll Lipstick - Stripped 007

Heres a few bits I picked up over the weekend. I didn't actually need any of this stuff I just wanted to buy something. I got the three boots products on the 3 for 2 so the Collection shimmer shades was free. I've wanted the Barry M lipstick for ages and decided to try out the Fit me powder. The Blending sponge is like the beauty blender, it's designed to apply make up like a professional airbrush it was £4.99 from Tk Maxx and the beauty blender retails at like £22. I also picked up the dainty doll make up from TkMaxx it was £7.99 for all three products which I thought was a bargain and I really love the colour of the blush its perfect for me and also the lipstick is a cute nude shade with shimmer in and its very moisturising. The eyeshadow is a white/cream shade that I will use for the corner of my eye and highlighting.

I think this is one of my favourite outfits at the moment! I recieved my skirt from the lovely Sarah and Bits and Bows the other day and have been so excited about wearing it but friday I was working at the school and saturday at Pizza Hut so haven't had a chance so today Daniel and I went to the cinema and for some food giving me the perfect chance to wear my new skirt! I've popped it on with this fisherman style jumper and my pixie boots. I don't have the figure to wear crop tops but I love the crop top and Midi skirt look. I really love the material and the pattern. I think its so nice and will go with loads of things. Go and have a look on Sarahs website and theres links to her facebook page below and you can see the different materials she has ! You can send her your ideas and sizes and she can make you anything! I love my skirt! The skirt was £18 and its amazing because it's made to measure so you know it will fit. I will definatly be ordering from Sarah again in the future because i'm very small in height but quite curvy so I will be able to get some amazing clothes that fit perfectly :)

I went along to the Harvey Nichols event this week which was a Fashion show. It was open for any one to go you just had to buy a ticket. Tickets were priced at £15 and honestly it was worth every penny! It was fab ! I took loads of photo's and loved most of the clothes. The shoes and bags were amazing and I really loved looking out for brands that I know like Mulberry and Alexander Wang.

The event started with Champagne and I got to catch up with everyone and then we sat down ready for the show! It was on time which was good and the music was really good. The models were so gorgeous and the hair and make up was amazing. The make up was done by Stila and I must say I was loving the bright pink blush :)

The catwalk was full of men and women fashions and gave everyone a real sense of whats to come this SS13. There was loads of monochrome and neon colours. Aswell as stripes and glittery tops and skirts.

I really enjoyed the event and would love to go to another Harvey Nichols event. It was very well prepared and went like clock work. We were given a warm welcome and the general manager from Harvey Nichols Birmingham even said a few words to thank everyone for going along which was nice.

After the event everyone was invited back to Harvey Nichols for more fizz and for a shop with our exclusive 15% off in store which I didn't take advantage of but i'm sure many of the ladies who attended did!

Overall it was an amazing event and I got to have a lovely catch up with everyone and met some lovely new people.

Have you ever been to an event like this and what do you think of my photos ?

My 'Experience Days ' Spa Day

On Wednesday my Momma and I went along to the Marriott Hotel in Birmingham for a Spa Day c/o www.experiencedays.co.uk/pamper-days  We had such a lovely day and I'd really like to Thank experience days for the opportunity. The day was really good ! We arrived at the Spa about half an hour before my treatment so got changed into our complimentary robes and slippers and went for a little look around the pool area. Then we went into the relaxation room (the room below with sofa's ;)) and had a little wind down before the treatments. My treatment was first so mom waited in the relaxation room.

I went in for my facial with the lovely Sarah, I had a Declor Facial which was amazing!! She used the Aromessence Neroli Serum and Hydra Floral Cream, They were lovely and I could defiantly feel them working into my skin and cleaning away. Sarah also used the Clay and Herbal Cleansing mask which was fabb! I love masks and this was really gentle and she also used the Phytopeel Exfoliating cream which removed all the dead skin cells and is used to create a smooth skin texture. I really liked this product too! I couldn't believe how gentle all of the products but how effective they were. I went in with a full face of make up and left with amazing fresh clean skin. I'd be interested in buying all of the Decleor products that Sarah used on me, its an amazing brand!
I was really happy with the outcome of my facial and think my skins looking so clean and bright! My mum had a back, shoulder and neck massage which she said was 'The best massage she's ever had' and came into the relaxation room smiling like a cheshire cat (i think she enjoyed it )
As well as our lovely treatments me and mum were aloud to use the other spa facilities such as the pool, Jacuzzi and the steam room and we took full advantage of all of them! The Steam room was so hot but really nice and it was lovely to come out and jump into the jacuzzi which is where we spent most of the day just chatting and chilling :) and then we had a lovely little swim in the pool.
We were in the spa for most of the day and had a lovely mother and daughter day and would really recommend it for mum for mothers day or a birthday because its a special treat for your mom and everyone loves a bit of pampering.
The pool area was really nice and we had a nice little sit down and chat on the loungers and then went back into the lovely warm jacuzzi. It was really an amazing day and we felt so special and I would love to do it again! I think its definatly worth the money aswell when you consider what you would pay for a massage or a facial and you get to use all the facilities at the spa like the pool and steam room its a great day out! There was loads of guys there too so take your fella's along ! so you really have no excuse not to go for a pamper day :)

Be sure to check out the www.experiencedays.co.uk website and have a look at their pamper days and they do other beauty days/ experiences too !

Outfit Post : Green Machine

Top : Primark // Skirt : River Island // Necklace : New Look // Hat : H&M // Shoes: Converse

Heres a few photos that I took on tuesday I really love this outfit and its something I wouldn't usually wear because its quite sporty and yet I think it really suits me. I've been wanting to wear my converse for ages to try and stretch them because they rub my feet and I think they look fab with this outfit.
The dork top is from Primark and is SO SO similar to a Topshop one and I think it looks really nice and its a gorgeous green shade. I love my hat and I've worn it twice now since I got it on friday ! I love it and think it really suits me and I'm so glad I got it! It was one of those things that I thought hmm I'll never wear it but I have and I love it! This is actually my favourite skirt now ! It's so easy to just pop on with any top or jumper and it looks fab! I'm abit gutted that it looks like its going to start fraying at the bottom wahhh! Its from the River Island Sale and was only £10 ! BARGAIN, and it's a nice shiny material its not pleather (i've had people say it looks pleather) so its really comfy.

No7 Beautiful Skin Purifying Exfoliator

No 7 Beautiful Skin Purifying Exfoliator : RRP £8

I'm having a facial today at the Marriott Hotel in Birmingham and having a spa day :) I'm very excited !
I picked this up the other day with my £5 No 7 voucher so it was actually £3, I went in to buy the melting gel cleanser but its for Normal/Dry skin and I was abit worried about it making me breakout, so I got this instead. Its a lovely beady exfoliator but its very sensitive and isn't rough or harsh on the skin. I've used it twice this week and it hasn't made my skin breakout but it leaves it really soft and cleans it really well. I've noticed a difference to my skin already. I bought this because I found my skin was peeling away when applying my Porefessional primer and I was recommended trying an exfoliator because at the moment i'm using my botanics cleansing milk and Emma Hardie cleansing balm and obviously I need something to remove the dead skin and dirt that i'm cleansing out of my skin.

Urban Decay Naked Basics

This is my 400th Post !!

The Urban Decay Palettes are something that I look at every single time i'm in debenhams but I rarely use eyeshadow so the Naked palettes are just too expensive so when I spotted this New Basics palette on buyapowa.com I was so excited! It was £14.50 with £2 (p+p) it normally retails at £20 so I was happy I saved abit of money.

Overall the palette is abit on the small side which I don't mind because its a nice size to fit into your make up bag. The packaging is a matte material and inside you have a lovely very decent size mirror

6 everyday shades to create a range of different looks! I've been using venus in the corner and as a highlighter and then naked 2 and faint to create a smokey/ natural look.

The palette contains mattes and satins and 4 exclusive shades. It's a lovely little palette with 6 full size Urban Decay shades.

I'm really glad I bought this palette because the pigmentation is really good but I still think £20 for eyeshadow palette is abit much for me because I've only recently started wearing eyeshadow but because I got a discount £14 isn't that bad -  I think Urban Decay should make more palettes like this with less shadows so that people like me who can't justify £38 for eyeshadow but would like to use the palettes like this.
