WinterSkate In Birmingham

I was kindly given two tickets to Winter Skate in Birmingham. I went along with my boyfriend Clint just before Christmas. We made a night of it and visited the German Market aswell. It started to rain but that didn't ruin the fun. We got our skates on and had such an amazing time. It was so fun and I had such a wonderful night.

After skating we got a hot chocolate with cream and marshmellows and dried off in the warm ice cafe. We were going to watch the next skaters but the rain got really bad so we decided to head home before it got much worse.

I'd love to thank Winter Skate for giving me the tickets. I had a lovely evening and it really got me in the Christmas mood.

Visit winter skate until the 5th January

@SamsaraSkin #TrulyBeautifulXmas #bblogger event

I was so excited when I got the invite to this event because i've met Jess and Andy a few times and they are such lovely people. I love that they have started a business together and I think what they have achieved it amazing.

I hadn't seen the Samsara Skin Clinic prior to the event so I was really excited to see that but also to learn more about skincare.

The event took place in the Lakeside Gallery space at The Custard Factory in Birmingham. The room was full of amazing hand painted furniture by Whatnot Doodah and it was very Christmasy!

We had some amazing Cocktails made with Collagen shots and got to know each other abit better and then the founder of Bodhi, Elijah Choo lead a session where we all got to make our own fragrance. It was such a lovely unique experience. I really enjoyed making my fragrance and love the little roll on bottle we put them in.

We then had lunch that was prepared by The Warehouse Cafe. The food was all vegetarian and mostly Vegan and tasted amazing! There was also a Buffet style tea table where we got to try different teas which was fun.

Andy and Jess made face masks showing us what products we may already have and how we can use them in a emergency face mask! Jess made one for dry/ sensitive skin and Andy made one for oily skin. It was so interesting to see what products they would use and I will be using some of the products I already own to make my very own mask.

After this we headed over to the clinic which was so exciting because I haven't been there before. Its so pretty and clean and I love the arrangements of their products. So much Bodhi !!!

We were given our goody bags and after some group photos the event was over :( I had such an amazing day and I really hope Jess and Andy have some more events! I'm very excited  to visit the shop again and also to get my complementary facial which i'm going to save for after Christmas!

REVIEW: Seventeen High Drama Intense Liquid Eyeliner

Seventeen High Drama eyeliner- £3.99 - Boots

I went to Boots the other day to pick up some bits and pieces like deodorant and shaving foam. Boring stuff really but I couldn't help but take a peek down the beauty aisles.

I needed a new eyeliner so picked up this Seventeen one. I usually buy the Rimmel exaggerate eyes one which is £5.49 so I decided to try the Seventeen one instead.

Considering its the 'blackest black' shade its not that black. I think it lasts really well and doesn't irritate my eyes which is something I have to be careful with because I have a lot of allergies and it makes my eyes stream.

I don't think i'd buy this eye liner again but it will do and I will continue to use it until it runs out.
It's good if your not too bothered about the shade of your eyeliner however I like mine to be really black.

#EastMidsMeetUp

I found out about the #EastMidsMeetUp what feels like years ago but it's seriously come round so quickly! The amazing Emma put together a fabulous day and i'd love to thank her for inviting me. I jumped on the train to Derby, i've never been before so I was very excited. We met in the food court of Derby Westfields ( I didn't even know it existed!)  We all picked a secret santa out of a bag and Emma went to the effort of making little labels with stickers and ribbons for us to attach to the presents and the bloggers info so we could check out their blogs.
We then split up to go shopping and check out what Derby has to offer, I had a very lovely day with Tasha we went around the shops and had a chat and a cuppa at Costa. We then went to meet everyone at the Fat Cat which is where we ate and Emma had a lot more surprises.

The Ladies from St Moriz came by for a chat about PR and new things they are working on which I found really interesting. We then ate and swapped our Secret Santa gifts. I got a Lush Christmas Penguin which was really cute !
Emma put alot of effort into a brilliant goody bag thats full of loads of amazing brands and products and I will feature that in a separate post.
I had an amazing day and would like to thank Emma again :)
