THREE MINUTE MAKE UP CHALLENGE WITH FRAGRANCE DIRECT

I have kindly been sent these three products from Fragrance Direct and set a three minute make up challenge. It was difficult but i've done it.

I have been sent Loreal studio secrets high definition smoothing foundation, Max Factor Lash extension  effect and UNE Blush.

NO MAKE UP

APPLY FOUNDATION 1 MIN 26 SECONDS
I applied using the Loreal Studio Secrets brush to certain areas nose, forehead, chin and then used a buffing brush in circular motions to blend it in.

APPLY BLUSHER!
Using a buffing brush I applied the blusher to my cheeks.
2 MINUTES 15 SECONDS
FINALLY APPLY MASCARA.
I applied a light amount of mascara, with more time I would usually build up my mascara abit more.
This took me to my 3 Minutes and I stopped applying!

I do have to rush out sometimes and now I know I can get a natural finish in just 3 minutes I have no excuse! I could spend an extra 30 mins in bed haha!

It was so hard to do my make up in just three minutes however the Loreal foundation has a built in brush making it abit easier to apply. The blusher was very easy to blend and apply so this again speeded up my time and I tried to be slow and steady when applying the mascara so I didn't smudge it or poke myself in the eye!

Have you tried a three minute make up challange?

REVIEW: Eucerin Dermo PURIFYER cleanser - First Impressions.

I've been using this for over a week now, i've had a few samples of Eucerin products before but i've never bought anything so this was a lovely chance to try a new brand.

Eucerin is a German brand who provide effective and gentle skincare. The Dermo Purifyer cleanser is gentle however it can effectivly eliminate excess sebum, while removing dirt and make up.

I have oily/combination skin, my skin is very stressed right now causing me to have breakouts and blemishes. I've been using this cleanser as I wanted a gentle cleanser that would combat my oily skin and cleanse my skin leaving it feeling soft.

I have to admit I wasn't a massive fan of the gel-like formula to begin however you apply the cleanser to hands and work into a lather which is a much nicer formula to then apply to the face. I like to work it in circular motions into the skin. I have been concentrating on my problem areas chin, forehead, nose and cheeks.

What i've found so far is that this cleasner has left my skin feeling very clean and soft after intial use. after using this for over a week i've found my blemishes have reduced and less oily. It hasn't completly combatted my Oily skin but I didn't expect it to in a week. It's a good cleanser and I would recommend it to someone looking for a clinical and dermatological proven product. For only £9 for a 200ml bottle it's also a very reasonable price.

I will review this product further however this is just an intial review and my first impressions of this product.

TRAVEL: WEEKEND IN WALES

Here's a few photos of our trip to Wales. Clint and myself stayed in this cute little cottage just outside Aberystwth. We went to the Promenade, in the amusements, through a castle, the butterfly house, a carboot, to the shops, for a walk through the woods and watched loads of prison break.

I've basically finished my third year at university now and just wanted to chill and have a nice weekend away together. The weather wasn't great but we got to relax so it was great.

I really want to get into more travel posts, i'm having a year out and going to hopefully do lots of work experience however i'd love to do abit of travelling aswell.

OUTFIT POST: PRIMARK PRINTED SKIRT

Top : Topshop // Necklace: Primark // Skirt : Primark // Jacket: Topshop// Jellies: New Look*

Here's another outfit post from my little weekend away to Wales. I love this cute skirt from primark. I think i'm going to take it on holiday and wear it with a little strappy top. The green stands out which I love!! I really like these photos, I took these outside our little cottage. We had an amazing view (as you can see) I love that I can wear my jellies with tights. I think they look sooo cute. I can't wait to bring them on holiday as well.

OUTFIT POST : Joules Indigo Stripe Adnana Striped Dress

Dress: Joules* // Cardigan: Peacocks // Sandals: Office c/o House of Fraser* // Necklace: Primark*

I was so excited to wear this dress on my recent trip to wales. I have kindly been sent this dress by Joules to review on my blog. I've already wore this dress to work and now on my trip to wales. It's such a versatile dress and can be worn in so many different ways.

The dress is a lightweight material and comes with the red shiny belt. I think the belt goes perfectly. In this outfit post I am wearing the dress with a plain black cardigan, as it was abit chilly and my tan leather sandals. The dress is so comfy and I felt happy wearing this on my trip. We went into town and popped into the shops and took a walk up the promenade and I felt very comfy the whole time.

The dress is a very nice length, like I said above i've worn it to work. I have to dress smart/casual to work so I popped this on with a pair of sandals and again it was very comfortable. I had loads of compliments and all the ladies I work with wanted to know where it was from.

I think the dress looks great! I'm a huge fan of nautical and stripes. The stripes and the elasticated waist create a great shape and I feel it fits really well.

I'm in love with this dress, i'm going to be taking it on holiday with me as I think it will be a really nice light dress to wear in the evening.

OUTFIT POST: JOULES DIP-DYE DRESS

 Dip-Dye Dress Blue Ombre - £39.95* - Joules

I have kindly been sent this gorgeous dress by Joules. It's a lovely blue ombre and it's a little bit textured. Its a nice light cotton material meaning its very comfortable. I will be bring this on my holiday.

It's a very on trend piece for the summer and it looks great with sandals but you could wear it with heels to dress up or even with tights and a chunky cardigan for a cooler day.

Its a very nice knee length dress, its very comfortable. I really like this dress and i'm very excited to style this dress in different ways. I'm going away to wales for a long weekend away and I will be taking this dress with me, I'm hoping we have nice weather and I can wear this dress on it's own with some sandals but we'll see.

Have you spotted anything on Joules that you like?  Theres so many cute things!!

FATHERS DAY GIFT GUIDE

Don't worry fathers day isn't until june 15th but I wanted to get my gift guide up so you guys could get a few ideas what to buy your dads

I always get my dad the same old stuff aftershave, books etc. This year i'm not sure what I might go for, maybe a remote control car, he loves the helicopter we got him for christmas.

Here theres a few bits and bobs that may give you an idea of what to get your dad.

The Bluebeards Revenge is a company I haven't really heard much about before but they have some very unique products. You can get some lovely gift sets which would be a perfect gift this fathers day. I was sent The Bluebeards Revenge Eau De Toilette* which smells lovely, I gave it to Clint because its so nice and he loves it. I was also sent The Bluebeards Revenge Cooling moisturser* which I think is great for my dad as he uses his shaver and this can sometimes cause irritation. I'm loving the quality of packaging and products from The Bluebeards Revenge, visit their website here.  or buy from their stockists here http://www.shaving-shack.com/

The Real Shaving Company is another adition to this gift guide, they have some lovely gift sets which are perfect for fathers day. I love the packaging and the huge variety of products for men that they offer. I struggle to find a good variety of products when i'm shopping for my dad or Clint however I will always go to The Real Shaving Company now as they do everything from shave cream,* moistursers*  to face scrubs* as very reasonable prices. You can buy them online here.

I think this lovely Champneys Sports Therapy Moisturising set* from Champneys is a great gift idea for fathers day. Again its a nice set for those who struggle to find skincare for the men in your life. I really like this set, it looks really expensive and at only £15.50 its also a good value for money. You can buy it here on the boots website.

If your after gadgets like this Helicopter or Lasers check out Hawkins Bazaar they have loads of fun, unique things to choose from. Theres loads of things I could buy my dad as he's a big kid who loves his gadgets. I also like this polo shirt from http://www.guidelondon.co.uk/ they do a variety of different shirts and polo shirts so theres loads of choice and i'm sure you would find something that would suit your dad.

I'd love to know what you guys are getting your dads for fathers day or if you even exchange gifts as I know alot of people don't bother with these kind of occasions.

*I have been sent products to feature in this post however I have not been paid to feature them and I have been honest in this post

FESTIVAL FASHION WITH F&F

Dress : F&F* // Bag : F&F* // Necklace : Primark // Jellies : New Look* // Floral Head Band: DIY

It's been lovely and sunny today! I've had a lovely trip to the park for a picnic and thought it would be a great day to put together some festival/ summer outfit posts. My holiday is only a few weeks away so i'm getting very excited for that. This first outfit features this very cute dress from F&F, I love aztec patterns for the summer. This dress is so so comfy, I love the skater style. I think it's a very nice length just on the knee so its not too short. I like the short sleeves - it covers the shoulders from the sun which is great if your at a festival to prevent burning. I'm also wearing this cute crochet bag from F&F aswell which I think creates more of a festival / boho effect. I popped this together with a floral crown and my jellies. I think it works so well together and creates a very pretty look.

Playsuit : F&F* // Necklace : Primark // Bag: Zatchels* // Sunglasses : Primark // Floral Crown: Crown and Glory* // Jellies : New Look*

Another aztec pattern but this monochrome playsuit creates a more summery look. This would be perfect if your off to a festival abroad or even a festival like wireless which takes place in the summer. I have popped this playsuit on with a simple silver necklace and another floral crown. I think the pop of red looks great. I've got my Zatchels bag out aswell as its a great size for a festival. Playsuits are great if your going to get a tan, this sleeveless one will mean no tan lines. Make sure you pop some suncream on so you don't burn. This playsuit is so comfy and would be so easy to wear. You could easily pop on heels to dress it up or like me wear it with your jellies for a more comfy casual look.
