LIFESTYLE: BEST HOLIDAY MOMENTS

We have been so lucky to have been on some really incredible holidays over the last 4 years. Today i'm sharing two of those holidays with you! These have been my favourite holiday memories! I have been very lucky and have been on a lot of holidays. My parents took us on holiday every year since I was young and since then i've pretty much gone away every year since. I've been all over really, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Cyprus, Florida and more.

One of my favourite holiday memories was going to Ibiza, we went during September 2015 and it was one of the best holidays ever!! I had done research before we headed out on different bars and different trips we wanted to do but we were pretty open minded. We arrived mid-morning, early afternoon to our hotel and got settled and then we had a welcome meeting. We were staying in San Antonio so expected the hotel to get pretty loud and we wasn't sure if we would be doing many club nights and things like that. The welcome meeting was great! We booked loads of trips including a paint party, boat trip and club night at Amnesia. We had the best time! The paint party was soo good! I've never done anything like that before, everyone was so nice and it was so chilled. We got to listen to good music, outside in the warm and chuck powder paint everywhere!! We met some cool people, had some drinks and a really good time! The next day we chilled out and had a boat party in the evening, this again was so good! Everyone had a really good time and was just enjoying themselves. It was just the most amazing experience. The views and sunset was beautiful and we got to enjoy ourselves have a dance and meet some really lovely people. I loved Ibiza, the days are chilled and it's just such a beautiful place to be, the sunsets are amazing and the foods great! It's not all about raves and drinking but don't be put off we had such an amazing time!!

One of my other favourite holiday moments has to be America!! We went to Orlando, Florida and it was incredible! I never went as a kid and as I got older and older I really wanted to go. We went for two weeks and got wristbands for Universal. We didn't do Disney as we felt this would have been too much for just two weeks and it would have been. We will do Disney in the future with our kids when they are older. It was two weeks jam packed with rides, food, waterparks and shopping! It was amazing! I need to go back soon!! We had the best time, it was crazy! It's not a holiday, you literally don't stop theres so much to do! We did all the rides and parks and had such a good time! I loved going shopping at the Florida Mall, the Sephora is massive!! I went abit crazy and brought back so much make up and Clint got loads of American sports clothing! We had such an amazing couple of weeks and we will do it all again!

We always take sooo many photos when we go on holiday, on my phone and camera to remember the amazing times we have and it will be amazing to show our kids in the future. I always keep my holiday snaps backed up onto an external hard drive so I don't loose them as well as getting my faves printed out for our albums. It's so easy to get them printed out from websites like Truprint, you can upload your snaps from your computer or Facebook and Instagram making it super easy to get your photos printed out, they even have Photobooks which you can personalise, why not create a Photobook for each holiday!!

LIFESTYLE: WHAT FAMILY MEANS TO ME ?

Today's post is a little different, I want my blog to be a little bit more personal and I want to start documenting things again. When I started blogging it was more of a diary where I could write about things and it quickly turned a place full of beauty reviews etc... I am still going to feature beauty reviews but maybe some more personal posts too.

So what family means to me? I have a huge family aswell as alot of friends and other people in my life that I would consider family. Just a handful of these people are in pictures above.

My family mean the world to me and I love spending time with them. We always celebrate special occasions such as birthdays, Christmas and new year together. It's lovely having such a close family, that I get to see all the time. We are all close and we share everything, I announced my pregnancy very early to my family because I knew they would all be so excited.

As I said it's not just blood relatives that I class as family, I have a few friends that i'm really close to and I share everything with them, I get to see them regularly and we enjoy our time together, celebrate special occasions as well as just catching up over a coffee.

I think family means those very important people in your life that you want to share everything with, you enjoy spending your holidays together, share your important news with them, celebrate all those special occasions together. I love my family so so much and really cherish the time we all spend together. I am very lucky to have a lot of friends and family around me as not everyone is so lucky. I am lucky to have parents that are still married and my moms parents are still married and alive and a huge part of my life. Clints parents are amazing too.

Being happy for them and celebrating their achievements and successes! Wanting them to get the best out of life and be happy!

We do have our ups and downs like any family and sometimes you might need help when trying to resolve family issues. We live in a modern world where people get divorced or have to fight for custody of their kids and getting a lawyer or solicitor involved is your only choice. Slater Gordon is just that and make family matters simple and less stressful for you.

What does your family mean to you? Do you have a really small but close family? Do you even talk/see your family? Do you have a long distance relationship with your family?

USE 'HELLOAMY' FOR 10% OFF YOUR ENTIRE ORDER

Today i'm sharing a few new products i've been using over the last couple of weeks ready for the summer! My skin like many others can change and be temperamental when the weather changes. My skin tends to go very dry and I have alot of breakouts! Since finding out that i'm pregnant my skin has been even worse, really really dry.

First up i've been loving this Avene Thermal Spring Water*! For the last few days we've been having a heat wave and it's been HOT! This spray is a lovely spritz of water which i've been spraying all over my face and body to cool me down and feel refreshed. It's really calming and perfect for those with sensitive skin. It's been amazing at cooling me down and it leaves my skin feeling great.

La Roche Posay is one of my favourite brands so I picked out the Lipikar Baume AP+* which is a balm that is perfect for really dry skin. It re-hydrates the skin and again is perfect for sensitive skin and is even suitable for babies and children.

I've also been loving the Bioderma Atoderm Gel Douche* which is a shower gel for dry skin. It's a gentle foaming cleanser which again is suitable for the most sensitive skin. It has a really light fragrance which has made it perfect for during my pregnancy. It's really gentle and leaves the skin feeling soft and clean, very refreshed.

I've been loving my new skincare products from HelloSkin They stock so many amazing brands and have lots of great products in stock. The website is so informative with lots of information about each products including ingredients, reviews, side effects, precautions and much more.

BEAUTY: INTRODUCING RIMMEL LONDON'S NEW INSTA COLLECTION

I was so excited to receive these goodies in the post last week! Rimmel have released their new make-up range to get you Insta-ready! You will have no problem getting the perfect selfie now!

There's so many different products in the new range, contour sticks, setting powder, concealer palettes and much more. I thought i'd go through a few of the new products and introduce you to the new range. I have only used a couple of bits so far so will review them in a few weeks once i've given them all a go!

I have been loving the #Insta Fix & Matte powder, it works really well on my skin. I've been using it to set and mattify my foundation. It isn't cakey as it's a translucent powder. You can build it up easily and I don't need to retouch through the day.

I haven't tried the Contour sticks yet but I did swatch the light shade and it's a lovely warm toned shade and gorgeous highlight. They are very creamy and easy to blend out! Very excited to try.

I'm so excited to try the Fix & Go fixing spray as i've only ever used the Urban Decay All Nighter spray. This is a 2 in 1 primer and fixing spray which sounds so good! At £6.99 this is a bargain!! I hope its good! The packaging is fab and it's a decent size bottle.

The range also includes the #Insta Flawless skin tint, concealer palettes and a conceal and correct palette. The whole range is really affordable and on 3 for 2 right now at Superdrug so check it out.

EVENT: CAFE ROUGE #SUMMERTASTEADVENTURE

I was recently invited along to Cafe Rouge in Birmingham for their Summer Taste Event! The event was all about their new summer menu and I was lucky enough to head along to the event and check out some amazing food!

First of all the weather was incredible, it was really sunny and warm so as we walked along the canal to the venue was so lovely, the Mailbox was buzzing and everyone was having such a good time.

We was offered a drink on arrival and went through into the room where the event was being hosted. The french doors were open and there was flowers and balloons everywhere so the vibe was fab really welcoming and summery.

They started by introducing us to the chef who talked about the new menu and we got to have some appetizers. I didn't have any of these but Clint and everyone else seemed to enjoy these, they looked fab!

I tried a few of the new mocktails which were perfect for the summer. My favourite was the Rouge Blush Mocktail which was really good!  They were also fixing up Gin Blooms but as i'm pregnant I couldn't try these! They looked fab though, really refreshing.

For starter I ordered the Croquettes De Legumes which was so good! We've actually had this before but it's just so good and a really nice, light starter.

For mains I had the Crepe Au Four which is a new dish on the menu, It was a white creamy sauce dish covered in a crepe and baked, inside was lots of mushrooms. It was really tasty, I think it would taste better with chicken inside too, if this was an option it would be so good!

We got to sample a selection of deserts which were all amazing, I really enjoyed the Lemon Posset which was so good!

The event was really good, everyone was chatting and really friendly. There was so much food and drink everywhere and it all tasted so good! It was such a lovely event and so chilled and a lovely way to spend a gorgeous summer evening. Check out Cafe Rouge in the Mailbox in Birmingham, it's on the canal and has fab views, they have outside seating which is perfect for these warmer nights we've been having. INTERIORS: HOW TO GET YOUR HOME LOOKING SUMMER READY?

Images taken from Pinterest

With summer fast approaching it's the perfect time to make some changes to your home, freshen it up and get summer ready! Today I thought i'd share a few ways to get your home looking summer ready.

There are lots of affordable ways in which you can get your home looking summer ready.

Using flowers and plants - adding a pop of colour using plants and flowers is a really easy and affordable way to make your home summery. I always have flowers in the flat. We also have a selection of plants, too add lots of colour to the flat.

Accessories - Use accessories like candles, cushions and prints to add colour to a room. This is an easy to way to revamp a room without spending lots of money. I'm loving all the botanical prints that are around right now!

Mirrors -  A big mirror will add more space to a room aswell as lots more light! A bigger and brighter space will instantly look lighter and more summery.

Open all the windows and doors - I like to let lots of fresh air in and have a good clean this makes a room feel all new and fresh and perfect for the new season.

Colour - Use colours to create a summery room. We have white walls so I prefer to add colour using accessories and furniture. You could use wallpaper or paint to create a feature wall that screams summer.
