Merry Christmas from BHS

Ahh I'm so excited now for Christmas. I need two weeks off I think haha! I've literally bought one thing so far but i've got an idea of what i'm buying everyone so it's just a case of going out and getting it. I think i'm going to be doing alot of shopping online this year because the shops are already crazy and it's still November. BHS is one of my go to shops at Christmas because I love their gift range. They have so much choice for the ladies the smellies are always fab or a cheeky wine gift set and for the men they have loads of gadgets and toys ;) and the beer sets and there's an endless selection for the kids!

I love the fun and joy of Christmas i'm so excited this year because i've had a lot of changes in my life this year and everything's going to be really different. I'm planning on putting together a few wish lists and some Christmas gift guides on the blog. I'm feeling really festive this year, usually I don't get in the mood until mid December. I've got some time off soon and i'm going to London a couple of weeks before the big day which means I can do some really good shopping!!

I can't wait to head to my local BHS to check out this years Christmas gifts! What will you be buying your loved ones? Do you have any Christmas traditions ?

Novermber 2013 Birchbox

 Birchbox £12.95 per month

So after subscribing for Octobers box I forgot to unsubscribe and was rather suprised when I was greeted with Novembers box. I will be staying subscribed for December's box and then I may have to unsub for the New Year.

I have to say i'm VERY please again with my Birchbox, this months included-

Laura Mercier - Long Lash Mascara
Chella - Highlighter Pencil
Molton Brown - Body wash
Weleda - Oat Shampoo
English Laundry -  Perfume sample
Pukka Herbs - Tea's
Birchbox - Pencil Sharpener

My favourite product is the Laura Mercier mascara, I havent tried out a Laura Mercier mascara and it's a brand I really like so I'm very happy to try that out. My 2nd favourite product is the highlighter pencil. I only own powder highlighters and so this is something very new in my collection. It's so easy to use and just so perfect for me its a lovely shade aswell.

I like the perfume sample and I will use the shampoo, the teas and pencil sharpener. I'm not a massive fab of Molton Brown but this is the only product I don't think i'll use.

Again i'm so happy with my Birchbox this month  :)

REVIEW: Iconemesis.co.uk phone case

Black Floral by Johanna Basford for Iphone 5/5s- £25.00*  - Iconemesis.co.uk

I was kindly sent this gorgeous phone case to review by Iconemesis.co.uk I was sent it awhile ago now maybe the beginning of october and it's been on my phone ever since. It's such a good quality phone case made from a really thick plastic. I'm one of those people who always always have a phone case of their phones just because i'm so clumsy and terrible at dropping my phone.

The pattern is so cute but classic, I really wanted a phone case that looks expensive and grown up and so this pattern is perfect. I chose the white and black because I have the white iphone and think it looks better.

The case has all the little holes so you can fit your earphones in and use your camera :)

It's £25 which is the same price of the phone cases in the apple shop and I think this ones such a better quality and you have so much choice when picking what pattern to have as they have some very lovely designs.

I will be buying another case from Iconemesis as this one's lasted me so long and I really love some of the designs they have online

Caudalie L'wren Scott Eau De Beaute

Caudalie L'wren Scott Eau De Beaute - £32.00*- Caudalie

Every blogger has heard about Caudalie Beauty Elixir it's one of those must have beauty products well say hello to the Limited Edition Beauty Elixir designed by L'wren Scott.
The scent is gorgeous a mix of Grape, Orange Blossom, Rose, Balm mint and Rosemary.
I really love the smell and how a spritz refreshes the skin and makes its feel so lovely and amazing.
The powerful plant based anti-dullness complexion mist smoothes away fine lines and tightens pores.
I think it just leaves the skin feeling good and gives a boost of radiance. I've used this before applying my make up and it made my skin feel really nice and smooth before applying my make up and i've also used it to refresh my make up, it makes the skin appear dewy and like you have freshly applied your make up.

The beauty elixir is the same formula but with a new look and is limited edition so buy it now - Buy the 100ml bottle and get free delivery if you order from uk.caudalie.com .

October Birchbox

My October Birchbox - £12.95

So this month I decided to resubscribe to Birchbox. I won a subscription when Birchbox first came about and decided after my 5 free boxes not to stay subscribed. I did enjoy receiving the box but decided it wasn't something I wanted to spend £12.95 a month on however this months box looked amazing and so I just had to subscribe. This is what I got in my box
KMS Curl up
Laura Mercier Tinted moisturiser.
Dr Lipp Nipple cream for lips
The Balm Stainiac
Skinlife Cellular cream
Eqyptian Magic
Eye mask

Thats some fabulous brands I love Laura Mercier, KMS and The balm so it was amazing to see some really good brands in this months box. I've stayed subscribed for the november box and i'm really looking forward to receiving it. I haven't really used any of the products from the october box but I will review them once I do.

OUTFIT POST: Breaking Down

Top : H&M // Skirt: River Island // Watch: River Island //

Just thought i'd pop up a little casual outfit post. I've been trying to keep on top of my blogging this week and have some posts scheduled which i'm very proud of. I've got so much uni work going on at the moment and i'm really struggling to balance everything but I don't want to prioritise everything ahead of my blog.

Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Waterproof

Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Waterproof : Lancome  - £21.00

I've always been a massive fan of Lancome so I was actually so excited to try out this mascara. I've always used Benefit's they're real as I have got them free in magazines or I was given one at an event, as a mascara They're real is fab and I would buy it however now i've tried Lancome I think I would prefer to spend my money on Hypnose Doll Eyes. It's a really lovely formula and it makes my lashes appear really long. I use another mascara over the top to add abit of volume as I like my lashes to be really thick.  I find it comes off really easily without much effort unlike They're real that is very stubborn. I like the packaging of Lancome it's simplistic but classy. The silver box is really appealing and when you see it in the shop it looks special. I'm really impressed with Lancome's mascara and I would like to try some of their other mascara's. I think £21.00 is really reasonable for such a good quality product compared to similar brands that charge alot more for their mascaras.

Monsoon Children

Join the party at www.monsoon.co.uk

Watching this video has made me get all excited about Christmas. I love dressing up at Christmas and that was always one of my favourite things about Christmas when I was a kid. I'd always get a cute outfit for Christmas that I would wear on Boxing Day or New Years Eve at our little family parties. I just love the cute little outfits that are featured in this video. The snow, the merry go round and the balloons look fab and made me think about The German Market that comes to Birmingham over the Christmas period. I’m actually so excited for Christmas now and can’t wait so see my family and I’ll be telling them all about the lovely clothing for their kids from Monsoon. I’ve picked some of my favourite pieces from the range, even though I don’t have kids there’s a lot of kids in my family that I do buy clothes for and this range is fabulous. It’s just so festive and special. I’m loving the little pink dresses for the girls and teamed with the lovely fur collars that are available in a range of colours. If the girls don’t want to wear dresses they also have these cute skirts, I love the gold jacquard style one ( I actually have one just like this) and the cute pleated one is a lovely more casual style that you could just team with a cute t-shirt. For the boys I’m loving the cute little shirt and trousers. My little cousin loves dressing up with his little tie he looks the cutest!

Thanks so much to Monsoon for the opportunity to put this post together. I had so much fun thinking about my Christmas Parties as a kid.

La Moda Erin Bag

La Moda Erin Bag : £22.00

I spotted this bag on La Moda's instagram and fell in loveeee! I think its such a lovely bag and I just had to have it. Its such a simplistic but classic bag. I'm loving the gold detail as well as I prefer gold details to Silver. The bag is a really good quality material. Its a really good size and has loads of pockets inside. It has like phone pockets and then bigger pockets with zips which are perfect for keeping your valuables in. I can fit an a4 pad into this bag without any difficultly. The bag also has a handy strap on it as well. I think this is such a great value for money for £22 it's such good quality.
