Outfit Post: Tell me about it stud!

Top; River Island // Skirt: Missguided // Boots: Runwayshoes // Necklace: Topshop //

This is what I wore to uni yesterday. I got my daddy to take some photos for me :) I really want to start taking outfit photos reguarly it's just difficult to take photos before uni, luckily today I didn't have to be in till 3 for a lecture so took the opportunity to take some photos. I really don't know why I bother doing my hair sometimes by the time I got home my hair was a mess! I love this skirt - I think it looks great on! but it feels short and makes me feel abit insecure. My coat also makes it rise at the back which is annoying. I love my nails :)

REVIEW: NARS Gina

NARS Gina Blush RRP:£21

'The ultimate authority in blush, NARS offers the industry's most iconic shades for cheeks. Natural, healthy-looking color that immediately enlivens the complexion. A light application of even the highest-intensity hues delivers a natural-looking flush.
* Silky texture in matte and shimmering shades * Micronized powder ensures soft, blendable application* Iconic NARS shades'

I Bought this on www.beautybecca.com's blog sale for £8 it's only been used a couple of times. I really wanted to try out a Nars Blush but £21 is a bit much however now I think I will invest in a few. This is a orange/ peach shade which isn't normally something I would go for as I normally wear very bright pink shades. This is abit more natural which is lovely on my skin however I keep applying too much which makes me look abit fake tanned but when I only put a nice thin layer on it looks really nice. I would like to buy some of the pink shades and especially Orgasm :) I love the simplistic matte packaging and if you read my previous reviews you will know I really am a sucker for Simple packaging. I just love this. I apply it with my ELF blush contour brush which applies this really well.

Have you tried any NARS blushes and what pink ones would you recommend?

Motel Rocks London Fashion Week

Jacket// Dress// Bag //Necklace - All Motel Rocks

If I was going to London Fashion Week I'd wear this as my Front Row Outfit. Its casual but chic enough for the catwalk. The dress is one that I've been eyeing up for ages. I really Love Monochrome stripes and I think this dress is a really lovely skater design. The Vertical stripes are very flattering and would be great for my body shape. I would team this dress with a leather jacket like this one here to add that bit of punk to the outfit and also it's February so were going to need jackets! I love this bag its from the Zatchels range on MotelRocks I think its such a lovely cute size and looks really cute and would make the whole outfit tie together. Finally abit of bling! The gold collar necklace is gorgeous and exactly what this outfit needs abit of colour the pearls on the necklace give that sense of class and makes the whole outfit look abit more expensive. I would wear my comfy chelsea boots with this outfit because theres going to be loads of walking involved.
Another thing you could do with this outfit is add little bits of colour - I think neon colours would work well with this outfit and I'm pretty sure there will alot of neon at Fashion Week.

REVIEW; Soap And Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub

RRP £8 From Soapandglory.com

I've been using this for over a month now, I bought this when Boots did the Star Gift of the week. Its a body scrub which you can use in the shower, I like to use it in the bath too! Its a large 300ml tub and I find a tub design alot easier to use rather than a tube because you just put your hand in a grab the amount you want to use. The smell is gorgeous, the lime is the most distinct smell which is just lovely and fresh! When you rub it into the skin you can feel it working straight away, it scrubs away the dead skin and dirt and oil. I then wash the excess away and it leaves your body feeling soft and so clean.
The smell doesn't wash away and you can smell it even when your out of the shower.
I haven't used soap and glory before but I love this product and theres some more products in my gift set that I use all the time aswell but i'll be reviewing them soon :)

The tub is a great size and I think even though I use a good handful every time I shower I think it will last ages and the Soap and Glory range is worth the money. Boots always have deals on the soap and glory so why don't you try out some of their other products too.

My New Shirt #outfit of the day

Shirt: Urban Outfitters Sale £20 Skirt: h&m

I picked this shirt up when I was in Birmingham at the #birminghambloggersmeetup. I've looked at it a few times and they never had my size (i like to size up with shirts) so when i saw they had loads of different sizes I picked it up and walked straight to the till (even though i was on my spending ban technically ;O) but I got student discount making is £18 which i think isn't bad for such a lovely shirt. I love the studded pockets and the colours :)

Sunday Update
001. I have Scheduled loads of posts for this week so keep your eyes peeled :)
002. Spending ban is going well :) I went to debenhams and bought NOTHING

Whats In My Birchbox!

I was very lucky to win a 3 Month Subscription to Birchbox. I was actually so happy because the idea of Birchbox being new really intrigued me and I wanted to subscribe but my spending ban stopped me and then I won this :) yay Heres a little peak of whats in the Birchbox with a little mini review of my initial thought of the products.

The Birchbox packaging is gorgeous! I love the little bag that comes in the box and the magazine is very good with little tips and mentions some very good products and brands, which makes me believe the products we will be seeing in Birchbox will be good too.

Reverence De Bastien- Is a nail and cuticle treatment. At first the smell is very sweet and quite sickly but it not bad. The product adds alot of moisture leaving nails soft and shiny.

Wei - Hydrating cream; £74 for a full size !!!! I dont think it's all that from my initial try, it smells like baby wipes and the sample was very small at 4ml.

KMS California- Add Volume; I've only recently heard of KMS so I'm really happy to see this product;  I like that this is a spray; its quite oily but it states it removes excess oil. I like that its a spray . You use it on towel dried hair and I can see this very generous 30ml bottle lasting ages.

Teapigs - I got superfruit flavour tea which I'm excited to try but I'm really not a fan of berries.

Fresh Sugar rose lip treatment- This is my favourite product in the box. I like Lipsticks but rarely wear them but this is something I would keep in my bag for everyday use. its a nice size and I love the packaging its so expensive :) It gives a nice pink tone to the lips and it adds so much moisture and it has spf 15 so would be ideal in the summer/on holiday!

Overall I'm impressed with Birchbox I hope to see some more brands that I have and havent tried before I love the idea of trying new things and this box defiantly contains new things for me to try:)
When i've mentioned sizes above - I'm not ranting i understand these boxes are sample boxes and I shouldn't expect full sizes but something like a moisturiser I feel you can't decided whether you like it after one try and the Wei cream is on the small size whereas I feel the KMS add volume, lip treatment and nail treatment are very sufficient sizes as samples
Birchbox is £10 a month and you can subscribe on www.birchbox.com

I love Cath Kidston

You only have to look at my blog to know I love Cath Kidston. My banner is a floral pattern, I have pink fonts and all of my posts have cute floral backgrounds :)  I do love floral patterns. I love shabby chic, vintage style furniture.

Cath Kidston UK Ltd was founded in 1993 when designer Cath Kidston opened a tiny shop in London's Holland Park. She began by selling vintage fabrics, wallpapers and brightly-painted junk furniture she remembered fondly from her childhood. Her clever witty re-working of traditional English country house style meant that her shop soon became a cult success.

Gradually Cath Kidston began to design her own prints and products. One of the first was a printed ironing board cover-practical, quirky and with a distinctive floral print, it has come to epitomise the Cath Kidston look.

Cath Kidston products are just so pretty and such good quality! Their bedding is so thick and comfy and its just gorgeous. I love the antique rose bouquet Duvet cover (the middle image) Its such a lovely floral pattern, I just love the red and pink flowers and I like the white background because it makes the pattern stand out more and its really bright. I love how Cath Kidston products look vintage and shabby chic :) I just love everything in the Cath Kidston section. I really want to buy a night gown like this floral one and some of the polka dot cushions.

The QVC Beauty Bash Goody Bag

All this was free from the QVC beauty bash. I won tickets so I didn't even pay to get in. The stalls give you handfuls of samples and products and then on the way out everyone got a huge goody bag filled with more products.

I can't believe how many goodie we got in the goodie bags and the goodies from the stalls! I was so lucky to get the benefit samples, I think your supposed to get one but I got really friendly with the girls at the benefit stall and managed to get two of the cheek tints and a moisturiser and then I go bad gal lashes in my goody bag! I've used the tints before but I'm rubbish at applying things like that but they showed me how to do it and I'm going to give it ago.
I've got loads of Phillip Kingsley elasticizer now to play with as I got a sample from the stall, one in my bag and one from a lucky dip bag ;) I've used it a couple of times so expect a review soon
The Emma hardie cleansing balm was one of the things I wanted so bad! And I got two huge 15ml samples of that and a muslin cloth, the packaging is so gorgeous for a sample and I've already used it and its lovely! It smells amazing, it's like my neom candle :) it's lovely and removes your make up and soaks away excess oils and grime. It's such a luxurious product :) I was so chuffed with it.
The Percy and reed goodies were AMAZING, a 100ml shampoo and 100ml conditioner and 100ml hair polish !!!
I've never tried philosophy before and didn't realise they were on QVC so I was very happy to see them there. The guy on the stand was lovely and kept making me and mom have chocolates lol! He gave us loads of samples and was showing us loads of products for example the new shower gels which smell gorgeous ! We got the cutest little bag with little miniatures there 2x 30ml products and the hope in a jar moisturiser which is 15ml it's a lovely pot! I love their packaging, the guy told me that their packaging is simplistic because they'd rather concentrate on what they put in the pot (GO philosophy)
I got a mini opi polish and then a full size in the goodie bag which is a nice grey colour and also some nail polish remover which is a really decent size and also acetone free :)
A mini Leighton Denny polish which is a lovely red :) can't go wrong with red !
I had a play with the clarisonic ! I need one ! There's a new one which has a pattern on it and its just amazing I need one !!

We also got more products like make up, soaps, creams etc

It was an absolutely amazing day ! At the event you couldn't buy stuff everything was free.
There was a free cloakroom you got free refreshments, juice tea coffee and the most gorgeous jam and cream scones.
The building was lovely inside was like an old train station :) there wasn't too many people so you could walk around freely

Overall I had a wonderful time and I will be finding out how I can go again next year because I couldn't miss out on that opportunity !

If you have any questions then leave me a comment :)

QVC #BeautyBash

I won tickets on twitter to go to the QVC beauty bash. I was really excited as i've never heard of it before and did abit of research and decided I really wanted to go.

So yesterday my momma and I got ourselves dolled up and ready to go and then I checked the trains and our train was cancelled !! We had to get the bus to a different train station and everything was okay again but then we were on our train and we were told that the Driver was stuck at Birmingham New street due to all the cancelations so again we were not moving anywhere. After waiting about half an hour we were told to go over to platform 4 where we could get on the next train and FINALLY we were on our way :) A few hours later, abit of Harry Potter and a natter with my mom :) we arrived at London Euston. We got the tube to Angel and had a cheeky maccies ;) and then made our way to the bash. When we arrived there was loads of people we joined the que for the FREE cloakroom had a cupcake :) and walked in. I was surprised at how big it actually was. There was loads of stalls such as Benefit, Opi, Liz Earle, Elemis, Bare minerals and more. I was so excited :) Me and mom were having a little stroll just looking at the stalls and then people were giving us samples, It was lovely getting to chat to everyone and having a bit of a pamper! I've never had so many products in my hands lol, I tried out the Liz Earle Mineral Foundation which is amazing! The lady who I spoke to from Bare Minerals was lovely and even though you were supposed to book a slot to have your make up done she was showing me the well rested concealer liquid pen which is really lovely :) It was lovely getting to see and try out the products that QVC sell :)
Lisa and the other girls from the Benefit stall were amazing :) Me and my mom had the full works done. My mom loves fine one one and I got to try out watts up which is amazing and I will be buying it! I gave out loads of business cards too.
We went to a cute little pub just around the corner for dinner and a drink ;)
