REVIEW: PEBBLE GREY VANITY MIRROR

I've been using the Pebble Grey Elko Vanity Mirror for a few months now and never got round to featuring it on my blog. I thought i'd share my thoughts with you.

Pebble Grey stock a huge selection of different Bathroom mirrors in all shapes and sizes. They have loads of illuminated mirrors to choose from as well as a selection of Towel Rails, Cabinets and other bathroom accessories. The mirrors are really affordable and a really good finish and quality. They have so many different styles so there's something for everyone and any bathroom.

I've already got a small mirror and a big mirror in my bathroom so I have popped my Pebble Grey Vanity Mirror on my dressing table. It plugs right into the mains so is super easy to use. The light is really bright and perfect for those dark winter mornings. The mirror is double sided with a magnifying mirror and moves up and down so you can position it where you like. Its not too heavy so really easy to move around and its great for checking the back of your hair.

I think it makes doing my make up so much easier, I use it every single day and even if I don't need the light I like have it close to me when i'm doing my make up. As you can see when the light is on you get a really good light on your face making applying make up so easy, you can see if you've missed any patches etc.

The Elko Vanity mirror is no longer on the Pebble Grey site but they have just release the Lima Led Magnifying Vanity Mirror which is exactly the same however you can affix it straight to the wall.

REVIEW: ORIGINS MASK MARVELS GIFT SET

Origins Mask Marvels - £20 from Boots

Origins is such a great brand, they are one of those brands that I just seem to love everything i've tried. So just before Christmas this Origins gift set was avaliable in boots and it was such a great price! Clint actually bought it for me for Christmas. Its still avaliable on the Boots website for just £20.
The sizes are a little bit smaller than the Full Size bottles these are 75ml instead of 100ml but at just £20 for three bottles its a bargain.

Clear improvement mask- This is a charcoal mask, designed to clear pores. The Charcoal dries quite quickly on the skin, and when you rinse your skin actually feels clean and clearer. I open my pores using a hot towel and then layer up the product. I use this once a week or every couple of weeks, when I need to clear my pores.

Out of Trouble 10 minute rescue- Great for oily skin like mine. Just layer it on and wash off after 10 minutes its so easy to use. I think it combats my oilier areas and clears dead skin and dirt aswell. Such a great all round product.

Drink up Intensive mask - This is an overnight mask, i love it! It smells amazing and it hydrates the skin. Throughout the day your skin looses moisture so this quenches your skins thirst throughout the night. Keeps skin looking smoother and younger.

As I said this set is such a great value for money, especially for someone who wants to try out some Origins products.

REVIEW: Montagne Jeunesse Black Seaweed Peel Off Masque

I was kindly given the opportunity to review these masks from Montagne Jeunesse. It's a brand that is know in most households! My mom always used to use their face masks so they would always be in our cupboards. I've been given this Hot Spring Sauna mask and the Black Seaweed Peel off Masque to review. So far i've only tried out the Black Seaweed one so i'll review the other one once i've tried it.

The Black Seaweed Masque is suitable for all skin types and claims to detox and gives the skin a deep clean. The actual mask itself is very strange the texture is thick, black and sticky. I applied a generous amount to the skin making sure to cover all areas, especially my problem areas like my forehead, nose and chin as this is wear I get blackheads and spots.

Then I left the mask on for a while to work on the skin. The packaging states to leave the mask on for 15-20 minutes before peeling off gently.

The mask left my skin feeling clear and clean and I felt like the dirt had been lifted from my skin. I would use this mask again as a skin detox when I feel like my skin is feeling clogged up. For £1 you can't really go wrong with Montagne Jeunesse as they have so many different masks so there really is something for everyone.

I'm really looking forward to trying out the Hot Spring Sauna mask.

REVIEW: trilogy rosehip oil antioxidant+

 trilogy rosehip oil antioxidant+ - £26.50

I won this little beauty in a twitter giveaway hosted by the lovely people at www.pegasuspr.co.uk

Its a face oil thats designed to hydrate and brighten the skin. To improve fine lines and wrinkles and elasticity and firmness.

I've noticed my skin does appear brighter since introducing this into my skincare routine. I like to use this in the evening after cleansing. I have oily/combination skin so I like to cleanse in the morning using a light cream cleanser and the follow with a light moisturiser. I prefer to use oils at night so I use this to moisturise after cleansing. The product does dry into the skin and leaves the skin feeling smooth and soft. I do feel abit greasy so this is another reason I wouldn't use the product in the day but for me it's a great product to use before bed. My skin does feel more hydrated when I use this in my routine and I've noticed my skin appear more brighter.

I don't really have many fine lines or wrinkles because I am only 20 but I like the idea of preventing any fine lines or wrinkles from appearing so this again is a good aspect of this product. I think my face has been looking firmer recently which I love!

Overall I do like this product, because its an oil and you get the squeeze applicator you don't use alot of product however I still think that £26.50 is rather expensive but you are paying for a product that is 100% natural and organic and it contains certified rosehip oil to repair skin.

My 'Experience Days ' Spa Day

On Wednesday my Momma and I went along to the Marriott Hotel in Birmingham for a Spa Day c/o www.experiencedays.co.uk/pamper-days  We had such a lovely day and I'd really like to Thank experience days for the opportunity. The day was really good ! We arrived at the Spa about half an hour before my treatment so got changed into our complimentary robes and slippers and went for a little look around the pool area. Then we went into the relaxation room (the room below with sofa's ;)) and had a little wind down before the treatments. My treatment was first so mom waited in the relaxation room.

I went in for my facial with the lovely Sarah, I had a Declor Facial which was amazing!! She used the Aromessence Neroli Serum and Hydra Floral Cream, They were lovely and I could defiantly feel them working into my skin and cleaning away. Sarah also used the Clay and Herbal Cleansing mask which was fabb! I love masks and this was really gentle and she also used the Phytopeel Exfoliating cream which removed all the dead skin cells and is used to create a smooth skin texture. I really liked this product too! I couldn't believe how gentle all of the products but how effective they were. I went in with a full face of make up and left with amazing fresh clean skin. I'd be interested in buying all of the Decleor products that Sarah used on me, its an amazing brand!
I was really happy with the outcome of my facial and think my skins looking so clean and bright! My mum had a back, shoulder and neck massage which she said was 'The best massage she's ever had' and came into the relaxation room smiling like a cheshire cat (i think she enjoyed it )
As well as our lovely treatments me and mum were aloud to use the other spa facilities such as the pool, Jacuzzi and the steam room and we took full advantage of all of them! The Steam room was so hot but really nice and it was lovely to come out and jump into the jacuzzi which is where we spent most of the day just chatting and chilling :) and then we had a lovely little swim in the pool.
We were in the spa for most of the day and had a lovely mother and daughter day and would really recommend it for mum for mothers day or a birthday because its a special treat for your mom and everyone loves a bit of pampering.
The pool area was really nice and we had a nice little sit down and chat on the loungers and then went back into the lovely warm jacuzzi. It was really an amazing day and we felt so special and I would love to do it again! I think its definatly worth the money aswell when you consider what you would pay for a massage or a facial and you get to use all the facilities at the spa like the pool and steam room its a great day out! There was loads of guys there too so take your fella's along ! so you really have no excuse not to go for a pamper day :)

Be sure to check out the www.experiencedays.co.uk website and have a look at their pamper days and they do other beauty days/ experiences too !

My Benefit Makeover

Make up and photo by Bailey from http://jump-on-mybandwagon.blogspot.co.uk/

The other day I had my make up done by the lovely Bailey who works for Benefit ! This is the 2nd time i've met her. This time I had my make up done and I think it looks really good ! I haven't got liquid eye liner on which is why I look a little bit funny but I think I look so dewy and fresh faced.

Bailey used loads of benefit products including the brand new neutrals palettes and the new concealer 'Fake Up'

Bailey used loads of products to create this look! I think she made my cheeks look amazing by using bronzer and blush to create contouring which I can't wait to try out myself!

look at my brows!! I think they look amazing - benefit brows are the best !

Kleenex range

all home bargains - 69p each

I remember how excited I was when I spotted the new Kleenex range but realised I've never bought any of the products. I have however tried the Shine absorbing sheets because I got them free in a goody bag from the clothes show. I was really impressed with them and jumped at the chance to get another pack for a mere 69p at home bargains!
I picked up the eye make- up removal wipes, two packets of the extra gentle face wipes and the shine absorbing sheets. They were 69p so I thought i'd try it all out. Just thought i'd let you all know so you can run down to your local store and get some ;)

I will do a review when i've started using the products :)

REVIEW: Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Primer

Laura Mercier Primer RRP: £28 Space NK.

I've been using this now for about 3 weeks. Its one of those products that everyone raves on about that I just 'had' to try. I've use primer religiously now so I know it should create a nice even base for your make up to apply nicer and it should make your make up last longer. This primer does that! It creates a lovely smooth base and dries really quickly into the skin so you can apply your make up. Its a cream formula so its really easy to rub into the skin. It makes my make up last all day- It doesn't look as fresh as when I put it on but its there. I think this is a lovely product and one that I would buy again because it does what it's meant to ! However. Its £28 and my tube is feeling incredibly light I would say i've used just over half of the 50 ml tube and can't see it lasting longer than a couple more weeks so would I say this is worth the £28 price tag well ! if you work it out it averages at about £5 per week which is what I spend in subway for one days food or for a Starbucks hot chocolate is £3 so if I was to cut out a couple of hot chocolates a week then YES I could justify it - Whats a fiver a week really? I will be buying this again as I fell out of love for my Benefit Porefessional it started making my skin flake away, but after speaking to a woman at benefit I might try using it again but only every other day and see how that works because this Laura Mercier Primer does nothing for my pores and I've noticed an increase in my pores over the last month.

You can buy the Laura Mercier Primer at Space NK
