Accessorize SS14

Firstly Happy 30th Birthday to Accessorize! I’m looking forward to Spring/Summer after watching this fabulous video from Accessorize’s SS14 launch. There’s just so much to be excited about, quirky pastels and summer florals are on the cards this season. I’m seeing some amazing oriental patterns as well as some summer beach essentials. I’m so happy to see that pastels are back again this season as I stocked up last year! I’m a beach holiday girl so I’ll be heading to Accessorize for my essentials like beach bags and flip flops! I have to have this camera handbag! I take photos of absolutely everything so this is perfect for me! I’m seeing a lot of Neon’s too I’m a huge fan of bright yellow’s and oranges and I can’t wait to stock up. I want colourful bikinis and sunglasses! I’m loving the really quirky jewelry in the video and I see a lot of statement pieces which can add that pop of colour to any outfit! I really can’t wait to head on down to Accessorize, I’m booking my holiday next month and as soon as it’s booked I will be buying all those essentials. I’m loving the pretty vintage, shabby chic nature of the products for SS14 and I can see this season being amazing. I love colourful accessories and little quirky pieces! Are you going on holiday this year? What are you essentials and what Accessorize products will be buying this spring / summer ?

OUTFIT POST: It's a hard not life for us!

Dress: Inlovewithfashion
Jumper: The Ragged Priest
Necklace: New Look

I'm supposed to be writing my dissertation but instead I thought i'd quickly pop together this outfit post for you guys. I've been slacking on my blogging recently due to the shear amount of work i've been doing at university. I've got an interim assesment of my work this week and then my dissertation is due on wednesday so I have a week and then I have an interview on Monday for a teacher training course. I have loads and loads on and i'm still working weekends at pizza hut so it's literally none stop.
I picked up this dress for £10!! from inlovewithfashion, its such a lovely fit and theres room for my boobs which i love as usually I struggle to find dresses with enough room. I popped on my fluffy sweater from the ragged priest as it's stil abit chilly and I wanted to dress it down abit. I love my fluffy jumpers and cardigans :) Ignore my hair its a mess!

REVIEW : ORIGINS GinZing Energy-boosting moistuizer

Origins GinZing Energy-boosting moisturizer - rrp £23.00 - Boots

So I got myself a very good bargain ! I picked this up in the boots clearance section for £10 !! saving a whopping £13. I have no idea why it was reduced but I had to have it!

I've tried a sample of the GinZing moisturizer before and I really do like the light-weight texture. I don't really like heavy moisurisers because I have oily skin and I find some moisturizers tend to make my skin appear greasy.

The GinZing is a nice formula, its light and smells amazing ! Its got a very orangy/ citrus scent so your skin feels awake and amazing.

I do feel that this moisturiser tends to make my t-zone a little more oily than usual :( but it definatly moisturises the skin and I would recommend it to those with very dry skin as it will work wonders. I will still continue to use it as I really like how it creates a warm glowy appearance on my skin.

Review: ecoTools bamboo deluxe concealer brush and custom covering buffing brush

ecoTools bamboo deluxe concealer brush - boots - £5.49 *
ecoTools custom covering buffing brush - Amazon - £9.00 *

The concealer brush is a lovely little brush, it's easy to hold and use. I use this with my Mac studio fix concealer and my Collection lasting finish concealer. I apply the concealer onto my face using my finger and then use the brush to blend, it works really well and covers my blemishes. I would recommend this for £5

The buffing brush is a nice brush but it didn't really apply my foundation in a way that i was happy with. The bristles are a little too hard leaving lines on my face. I had to use my beauty blender to smooth out my foundation. I would however recommend this brush for contouring or for cream blushers.

Have you tried any of the ecoTools range?

Urban Decay Naked 3

I have the best boyfriend who surprised me with this bad boy a few weeks ago!! As they had sold out over christmas he bought it as soon as they came back in stock!

I thought i'd share it with you guys, so you can see the amazing shades that are in the palette.

I love my sparkly pinks and browns so this is perfect for me and with the amazing pigmentation from Urban Decay it's going to last forever!

I think £38 is abit on the steep side but an individual Urban Decay eyeshadow is £14 so for 12 amazing shades it's well worth the money!!

What do you think ? Do you already have Naked 3 or do you prefer 1 or 2 ?
Are you going to buy it ?

RIMMEL: Wake me up foundation

I've heard loads and loads of things about this foundation and i've never purchased it but the other day I was in need of a new foundation and it was only like £6.99 in superdrug so I picked it up. I've been applying it with my beauty blender and I think it leaves a really nice flawless look. It creates a natural look with good coverage. I've been using this for a few weeks and i've found it applies very easily and leaves a nice finish. It doesn't have the best staying power as i've found by the end of the day it's come off my chin. I haven't really been using a primer with this so I will be trying out a primer to see if it makes much difference. I would reccomend this because for £7 it's a steal! I've got oily/combination skin and I think it makes my skin glow and look refreshed. It's doesn't make my skin oily or greasy.

Have you tried this foundation ?

REVIEW: Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion

I've been a fan of Urban Decay's Potion Primer for a while now but i've never done a review on it. Im sure you've seen many many review's about it so heres another. I was very lucky to receive this full size for Christmas off my boyfriend. It's amazing how much more pigmented the shadow becomes meaning you need less product. I've showed the difference between using the primer and without the primer and you can see the difference significantly. I think the 11ml tube would last quite long you only need a little tiny amount. It's £15 which is rather expensive but considering it will make your eyeshadow last you longer it's worth the money. I will be repurchasing this again and again.
