OUTFIT: BLUE VANILLA GREY CABLE POLO NECK JUMPER

JUMPER: BLUE VANILLA* // JACKET: NEW LOOK // SKIRT: PRIMARK // BOOTS: PRIMARK // NECKLACE: PRIMARK

I'm loving these Autumn outfit posts! The leaves on the ground are so pretty! We did a spot of shopping today check out this bedding that I picked up in primark!!

Today i'm wearing this new jumper from Blue Vanilla, I love the frill detailing on the sleeves and the collar. It's a really nice cosy, soft jumper and it's actually quite a thick material. I think this is a really versatile piece, you could easily team it with either a skirt or your favourite skinny jeans.
I love this cord skirt from Primark and i've been wearing it loads recently, you can check out my last outfit post here. These boots are from Primark last year, they are so simple and easy to wear. I popped my leather jacket on today as we were out shopping and didn't want to get too hot in my coat.

I hope your enjoying my outfit posts as i've uploaded a few over the last few weeks! I'm really enjoying blogging right now!

LIFESTYLE: HOW TO DESTRESS BEFORE BED

I've been having alot of trouble sleeping recently. I'm struggling to switch off as I tend to worry about things whilst i'm trying to get to sleep. I'm trying really hard to switch off and not think about things to help get a better sleep. Here's a few tips and tricks to help you de-stress before bed.

1. Have a relaxing bath! I love soaking in a nice warm bath with a Lush bath bomb* to chill out before going to bed. I light some candles and just relax, sometimes i'll watch youtube videos as well. I'm loving all the new Lush Christmas products, check them out in my recent Lush Solihull tour blog post

2. No Phones! One of my biggest struggles is sitting on my phone for hours! I'll constantly refresh instagram and twitter and sit there for along long time just scrolling! The light from your phone actually prevents your brain from producing Melatonin which is a hormone that tells our bodies its nighttime.

3. Light a candle on the evening. This Neom Tranquility Candle * that I got from Amara is lovely! The Lavender, Sweet Basil and Jasmine are a perfect combination for that perfect sleep. They relax you and calm you for a better sleep.

4. Sleep Spray, The This Works, Deep Sleep Pillow Spray is lovely. So many people rave about it! I've been using it for a little while and i'm still struggling to sleep but I think I'm thinking about too much. It does however relax me and make me feel calm.

5. That skincare routine! There's lots of lovely products that you can use on your skin that work through the night. These usually have lavender and jasmine in which calm your skin but also smell amazing and can create a better nights sleep. The Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate* is great it has that Lavender essential oil inside which soothes irritated skin and smells lovely.

6. Read a book, I find that reading a book before bed helps me sleep. I feel I worry less about whats going on in the real world because i'm reading about something else, reading makes me feel less stressed and allows me to switch off and relax before bed.

What are your tips for De-stressing before bed? I think i've got so much going on right now because i'm still struggling to get to sleep so if you have any remedies or methods let me know.

EVENT: CHRISTMAS AT LUSH SOLIHULL

Last week I headed along to the Lush in Solihull as they kindly invited me for a tour of their shop, I was looking forward to checking out the new Halloween and Christmas stuff.

I was lucky enough to go to a bloggers event at the LUSH in Coventry last week too so if you wanna check that out the post is here

Solihull Lush is my local store, it's quite a little store but they have SO MUCH stuff! They have the most amazing staff, the service is amazing every single time I go in and they are all so friendly and always let me take photos for my blog.

I was so excited to check out the latest collection, We started by looking at the whole Halloween range, My favourite is Autumn Leaves bath bomb, it was so impressive and such a pretty bath bomb. I have the Lord Of Misrule shower gel to try which i'm really excited about! I also have the Goth Fairy shimmer bar to try! I really want to pop in and pick up a few more Halloween bits before they are all gone. The Sparkly Pumpkin bath bomb looks so pretty!!

Next up we checked out the Christmas range. Christmas is probably my favourite time of year and my Lush favourites come out at Christmas so I was really excited to check everything out.
I love Golden Wonder bath bomb which has returned this year and so has Rose Jam Shower Gel which smells amazing!!

I got to pick out a few bath bombs that we popped into the bowls so I could see the prettiness!
We tried out Autumn Leaves which is very impressive! I love it! Never mind the ballistics is another one that we tried out. This is different as it has a fizzy bit and a bath melt so it's really moisturising aswell. We tried out mistletoe which is so pretty! I love it, I actually used it in my bath the other night and it smells really good! I think I may pick up another one next time I pop in.

Aswell as trying out the bathbombs we checked out the new soaps and shower gels which all smell amazing. The Shooting stars soap is my favourite, it smells so good, it has a sherbert scent ! Snow Fairy is back! This is like the most popular christmas scent, this year they have brought out Snow Fairy body conditioner which is a more subtle snow fairy scent, I am really excited to give this a try. I have Rose Jam shower gel again, it's one of my favourites! This year all of the christmas shower gels are Self Preserving so they don't have Synthetic Preservatives, you can read all about Self Preserving here

The Christmas Gift section in the Solihull store is very impressive as you can see from my photos they have LOADS! I love the gifts and think they really have something for everyone. You can always ask for help if you buying a gift for someone else. Not everyone is a fan of bath bombs and they have some really good shower gift sets. The gifts are all wrapped so theres no need to waste paper on wrapping them, the patterns are always really nice and good quality. Some of the gifts this year actually have games inside which is fun, perfect for kids!

Thanks to the Solihull shop for inviting me into store and showing me all the latest goodies.

FASHION: A GUIDE TO CHOOSING BRIDAL HAIR ACCESSORIES

You’ve finally decided on the dress, so the hard work is over, right? Unfortunately, there are more important choices to make — like picking out your hair accessories. Here, wedding headpiece designer, Rosie Willett, talks us through how to decide on yours and the other considerations you’ll need to make.
Should I decide on a hairstyle or accessory first?
It’s a problem many brides face; should they commit to a hairstyle and limit the types of accessories they can wear, or choose an accessory first and limit the hairstyles available to them? However, this shouldn’t stress you out.
It doesn’t matter which order you make the choices, as long as you make the right ones. All that matters is that you feel happy and confident with both the accessory and hairstyle you choose.
There are a number of versatile accessories out there too, so whether you go for an up do or wear your hair down, you can still add some glitz and glamour to your look.
What bridal hair accessories are there?
The good news is that there’s plenty of variety available when it comes to bridal hair accessories, including:
  • Tiaras — one of the most popular bridal hair accessories, tiaras will make you feel like royalty on your big day. They can be as large or as small as you like, so choose a style that suits you.
  • Headbands — subtler than a tiara, this is the perfect option whether your hair is up or down.
  • Hair vines — this style is growing in popularity, largely because of its versatility. Form it into a halo-shape and wear as a crown, incorporate it into a boho-inspired braid or let it hang freely when your hair is down.
  • Hair combs — these are best worn when your hair is up or partially up. If you’re wearing a veil, make sure it’s on a separate comb so removing it after the ceremony doesn’t disrupt your hairstyle too much.
Is there anything else I should consider?
The hair style and accessory you choose should naturally match your own personal style. However, you may also want to consider other factors, such as the theme of your wedding. For example, brides with a 1920s theme should consider feathered or pearl accessories to tie their day together.
You might want to consider colours too. Gold accessories work best with champagne-coloured dresses, while silver will complement ivory gowns beautifully.

OUTFIT POST: BURGUNDY JUMPER AND LEOPARD PRINT BAG

JUMPER: H&M/ SKIRT: PRIMARK/ JACKET: NEW LOOK/ BOOTS: NEW LOOK/ BAG: ACCESSORIZE/ SUNGLASSES: PRIMARK/ CHOKER: JOHNNY LOVES ROSIE*

I'm back with an outfit post! I haven't done an outfit post for a little while. I've been loving this jumper from H&M that I got a couple of weeks ago. I featured it recently in my Autumn/ Winter Haul  It's really easy to wear, i've paired it with my black skirt but also with jeans. This skirt is from Primark, it's a black cord skirt which i've been wearing loads. I love it, it's so easy to wear. I've got my black boots out from last year, they are my favourite boots. although they feel a little bit big this year, can you loose weight in your feet?? I love my leather jacket at this time of year as it's too warm for a coat but too cold for no jacket. It goes with so many different outfits and is such a classic style, I picked it up from New Look last year. I'm loving this leopard print bag from Accessorize which I picked up a couple of weeks ago, I love adding a little bit of colour or pattern to a pretty plain outfit such as this.

What are you wearing this season?  What are your Autumn/ Winter must haves?
