EVENT: HOUSE OF FRASER GROTTO LAUNCH

I went along to the Launch of House of Fraser's Grotto the other night. The grotto is run by 'HelpHarryHelpOthers' Charity. It's £5 for kids and adults are free, the child gets a small present. The money goes towards the charity. I think it's a great Grotto and i'm glad its back. It's so affordable and because it's in Birmingham you can make a day of it, a spot of shopping and a visit to the German Market.

At the event we had a little look around the Grotto, at santa's bedroom and workshop and then we got to have a look at Christmas fashion and brands that House of Fraser stock. There was some really beautiful dresses and jumpers with embellishments and sequins. I loved the bags and the coats, theres some amazing brands and products. They also had brands like Nails inc and Benitobrows there, I got to try a new glitter polish from Nails Inc which was gorgeous and I was also treated to some Eyelash Extensions which I will feature in a separate blog post.

It's such a great idea and I've heard lots of people talking about the Grotto and i'm sure its going to be very successful. Heres the Help Harry Help Others Facebook page

The Launch night made the Birmingham Mail website, you can read about it here

TED BAKER WASH BAG IN MINT

TED BAKER WASH BAG - £25.00 - http://www.tedbaker.com/

I love my Ted Baker wash bag, I thought i's share it with you as i'm taking it on holiday. I use this as my make up bag, it's a very generous size and fits all my make up in it.

I had my eye on this lovely mint bow wash bag and I was so happy when Clint bought it for me.

Its a great size and you can just wipe away any marks you may get on it. I love the mint colour - I think its a very on trend colour this season.

I'm a massive Ted Baker fan since Clint bought me my purse for my 21st, I love their amazing patterns and colours. They have some lovely bits and pieces - I especially love their swimwear which is gorgeous!

I would never normally spend £25 on a make up bag, I did get student discount so it was cheaper but its such a great size and I fell in love and had to have it! You can get Ted Baker from Asos so you can take advantage of free delivery and extra discount when they have discount events on.

REVIEW: NARS Gina

NARS Gina Blush RRP:£21

'The ultimate authority in blush, NARS offers the industry's most iconic shades for cheeks. Natural, healthy-looking color that immediately enlivens the complexion. A light application of even the highest-intensity hues delivers a natural-looking flush.
* Silky texture in matte and shimmering shades * Micronized powder ensures soft, blendable application* Iconic NARS shades'

I Bought this on www.beautybecca.com's blog sale for £8 it's only been used a couple of times. I really wanted to try out a Nars Blush but £21 is a bit much however now I think I will invest in a few. This is a orange/ peach shade which isn't normally something I would go for as I normally wear very bright pink shades. This is abit more natural which is lovely on my skin however I keep applying too much which makes me look abit fake tanned but when I only put a nice thin layer on it looks really nice. I would like to buy some of the pink shades and especially Orgasm :) I love the simplistic matte packaging and if you read my previous reviews you will know I really am a sucker for Simple packaging. I just love this. I apply it with my ELF blush contour brush which applies this really well.

Have you tried any NARS blushes and what pink ones would you recommend?

Oasis A/W Must Haves!

Heres a few of my favourite picks from the Oasis range on the House of Fraser website!  I'm loving this khaki/military colour, and I really like the embellished collar! I would wear this shirt with leggings or jeans - its so versatile! At London Fashion week Topshop Unique were defiantly teaming leather/shiny black materials against this khaki colour and thats what I'm doing here- I'd team this lovely shirt with a leather jacket and some shiny leggings! I love these leggings because they are so stylish but comfortable and can make an outfit look stunning. I would say your must have this A/W is a leather jacket and this one from Oasis is gorgeous and would look lovely with all of your outfits this autumn. Its an essential to create that perfect rock-chic look!

HOUSE OF FRASER COMPETITION

I really loved these boots and these were the first thing I looked at on the house of fraser website so I kind of worked my outfit around the boots. I love how they are just simple black boots but with a cute gold zip, I've incorperated elements of gold into the outfit with the bag and watch. I tryed to create a grungy cute girly rock look, which with spikes and studs being in at the moment I think this is going to be a popular look when autumn/ winter arrives. The leggings are similar to the disco pants from american apparel but these don't have the £70 price tag and are a bargain at £30 I love leggings, They are great when you wanna look nice but be comfy. I really love the rose pink of the top and think that the peplum bottom will sit really nice against the shiny leggings again creating that girly rocky look.
I think this Vivienne Westwood bag just tops off the whole outfit - pulling it all together and makes it complete.
