FASHION: SUMMER FASHION PICKS

PLAYSUIT: QUIZ US // STRAW BAG: TOPSHOP // SHOES: OFFICE // TSHIRT: RIVER ISLAND // STRIPE JUMPSUIT: BOOHOO // ROSE GOLD SHOES : BOOHOO // ORANGE TROUSERS: RIVER ISLAND // POLKA DOT PLAYSUIT: BOOHOO

It's starting to actually feel like summer woohoo! I'm feeling very inspired and really want to go out and get some new summery additions for my wardrobe. I thought i'd share a few bits and pieces that i'm loving right now!

First up how cute and summery is this playsuit from Quiz, it's gorgeous! I love the green and white and think you could easily dress this up or down depending on what accessories you went for. They have a really good selection of playsuits and dresses perfect for the summer.  Quiz is expanding to the US for any of my US readers.

Next up is this jumpsuit from Boohoo, again I think you could dress this up or down. I love stripes and I would add some colour to this by wearing a brightly coloured bag and shoes.

How gorgeous are these Rose Gold sandals from Boohoo. I love the colour and the style and think they are such a versatile piece to add to my collection.

These Orange paper bag trousers are a little out of my comfort zone but absolutely gorgeous! I'm trying to be a little bit braver with my clothing choices. I feel like i'm a little bit stuck in a rut with my fashion.

Straw bags are so on trend this summer so this cute lobster one from Topshop would make a lovely addition to any bag collection.

This cute little tshirt is from River Island and I tried it on the other day and it's just lovely. I love the pearl detailing which makes it so cute and a little bit nicer than your basic white tee.

The polka dot playsuit is from Boohoo and I'm just a little obsessed with polka dots right now and I love a good playsuit so i'd love something like this.

I'm loving mustard right now and recently bought a similar pair of mustard shoes, I think they add a really nice pop of colour to an outfit, you can see how I styled my pair of mustard sandals in my latest outfit post.

OOTD : Pink Nouveux

Top: Topshop // Skirt: Topshop // Cardigan: New Look // Watch: River Island

Heres what I wore yesterday I just staying in really and visited my nan! I had every intention of going to uni but that didn't happen. I've been a bit lazy with uni recently because I was ill and commuting to Coventry was really getting me down. I've been in this week and i'm going to make sure I get on top of all my work before the easter holidays as my deadline is soon after easter.

I love this grey marl skater skirt but its actually really difficult to wear because I feel like I have to wear white with it for some reason but I think this looks nice and cute

I got my tripod today and thats why I decided to do this outfit post - I'm hoping I will be doing more now I have my tripod and will be watching some tutorials on how to make the most out of my camera and learning the apiture and stuff.

Mono-chrome OOTD

Dress:Topshop // Tights: Primark // Boots : Dorothy Perkins // Watch : River Island // Necklace : Primark

This is what I wore on Friday when I went to the Neals Yard Remedies event in Solihull. I have done a post about the event and it will be up this afternoon :) So look out for that . I love this dress and I have had so many compliments about it :) I love Skater Style dresses anyway and think they make my figure look nice as I have a hour-glass figure. I love mono-chrome and I know its 'in' this Spring/Summer. I teamed my dress with this neon orange necklace from Primark just to add some colour :)

I looked in so many stores for this dress and couldn't find it but I have it now and I'm so glad I bought it :)

Oasap High Street Fashion Grey Lace T-shirt

Top: Oasap £16* // Jeans: Topshop // Necklace: Primark

I was sent this top from Oasap and I love how casual it is but the lace cut out shoulders make it really cute. I love grey jersey material because it's really easy to wear. This top would look lovely tucked into a skirt, with a big chunky cardigan or just with jeans for an everyday casual outfit. I've wore this outfit today to university, the top is really comfortable and baggy. It comes in one size, I would say it would fit a 10 - 14 depending on what fit you like. I like how the cut open lace style follows round and continues on the back which is lovely and it has the little peep hole at the back too just to make it that little bit more cute and unique. The top is of a really nice quality, the grey jersey material is really thick and the lace shoulders are like crochet so they arn't going to get damaged in the wash. Overall I think this is a really lovely top and for £16 you can't moan. The delivery only took a couple of weeks and I was so happy when it arrived. I will be getting plenty of wear out of this top because I love it :)

Outfit Post: Tell me about it stud!

Top; River Island // Skirt: Missguided // Boots: Runwayshoes // Necklace: Topshop //

This is what I wore to uni yesterday. I got my daddy to take some photos for me :) I really want to start taking outfit photos reguarly it's just difficult to take photos before uni, luckily today I didn't have to be in till 3 for a lecture so took the opportunity to take some photos. I really don't know why I bother doing my hair sometimes by the time I got home my hair was a mess! I love this skirt - I think it looks great on! but it feels short and makes me feel abit insecure. My coat also makes it rise at the back which is annoying. I love my nails :)

Outfit Of The Day

Cardigan: Missguided Top: asda Skirt: River Island Necklace: Topshop watch: Casio

This is what I wore on monday, I went to my old school and sorted out some paper work for my CRB so I can do some work experience and then I went to Birmingham City Centre and did a spot of shopping; You can see what I bought in tomorrows blog post.

This cardigan was like £13 in the sale :) and I've mentioned this skirt in a previous post here

My River Island Sale Purchases!

Skirt was £25 reduced to £10 Top was £22 reduced to £10

I've seen this top a few times and was abit reluctant to spend £22 on it because I wasn't too sure if i'd wear it but for £10 I think its a pretty little top that I can wear with a skirt for casual day to day wear or with shorts in the summer
This skirt is a shiny material its really nice I already have a pleated skirt but its like a meshy material and the pleats have are less noticeable so I don't wear it so I decided to buy this one and I'm sure i'll get loads of use out of it.

Autumn Floral

dress: River Island from ASOS// Cardigan: Internacionale // watch: Casio

Wore this outfit last week and completely forgot to post these pictures. I bought this dress from River Island after seeing Lily Melrose in the Blazer - It has the same pattern but it is more tapestry-like.
I love florals but they haven't been about as much this year with the aztec patterns floating about. I decided at £16 in the sale I had to get it. Its very versatile and goes with black or brown accessories. I got a 12 because I wasn't sure what the fit would be like but its abit big but comfy. I like the length -its quite long but the other day I wore this with a slouchy jumper over it and it looked really cute and it was the ideal length. The pattern in quite vintag-y which I lovee! I wore it with a chunky cardigan as I was going out for a family meal and wanted to look nice but casual.

What do we think ?

I love flatforms, I don't actually own any yet but I WILL! and THIS BAG OMGGG ! it's gorgeous! I really am a sukka for a tan bag!

Ben wanted to join in with todays outfit post. I love these photos, he actually looks rather clean... which is because we took him for a walk last night when it decided to rain loads!! I love this outfit, atm i've been wearing shorts and ditsy skirts loads.

Today was a nice day, really warm and the rain held off which was nice and this allowed me to do some DIY in the garden. I tried to bleach these shorts which didn't work out that well because I got impatient lol. I then dyed them pink!! I love the colour, They look really cute on and I can't wait to wear them on my holiday!
what do you think of my shorts? I'm going to stud one of the front and back pockets too : )

Sorting through my summer wardrobe

from left to right : high waisted denim shorts: new look, denim hot pants: topshop, white lace dress: primark, grey jersey dress: primark, green lace top: new look, orange skirt: new look, grey skirt h&m; blue skirt; river island, white aztec top: primark, lilac denim shorts; topshop.

I thought I would put together a post with a few tips and what I wear on holiday and in the summer.

I like to buy plain clothes, like plain colours and white and grey things. This way it's really easy to team outfits together. When you have lots of patterned clothes it can be quite difficult to match up things. Also this way if you buy a statement bag, with a really nice pattern you can wear it with most of your outfits.

Denim shorts are a must have! They go with everything and you can wear them night and day! Team them up with flip flops and a vest to go to the beach and then Sandals and a cute top for the evenings. This way you can wear a pair of shorts a few times and this can save on luggage allowance in your suitcase. (unless your like me and have to bring like 4 pairs of denim shorts.)

Basic Jerseys: You can get them from Primark h&m and new look for really cheap. I love these little jersey skirts as you can wear them day and night and they look really cute. It's best to buy a few plain white vests and then a few coloured ones for in the day. Suncream ruin's white tops so there is really no point in spending silly money on vest tops. This way you could even just leave them behind when your going home and save your self such luggage allowance for all the stuff you bought in duty free.

If your like me you have 94832847 pairs of shoes and you have to bring every single pair on holiday just in case you might need that pair. Just bring your flip flops, and a pair of brown sandals and black sandals and something comfy incase you do ay trips etc. Thats all you need and shoes are really heavy!

Now i'm going on holiday for two weeks and we all know that toiletries are silly money on holiday so make sure you bring enough, make sure you have your suncreams and shampoos etc. Don't bring your favourite bed head products or your Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser because if you bring the cheap stuff you can just chuck it away before you come home.

I know this is all kinda common sense but I hope you enjoy this and I know there are some holiday virgins out there who probably don't have a clue what they need to pack for their first holiday this summer.

River Island Holiday Wish List

all from river island.

I'm loving aztec patterns this summer. I've wanted this bag for ages and now its £15!!! I will be buying this !  This dress is so pretty, I think its a little bit expensive for a summer dress as I would probably only wear it a few times. And everyone loves a pair of oversized sunnies!

I'm really excited for my holiday, I cant believe I still have about 11 weeks to wait :'( but at least I have plenty of time to save for some key pieces to wear.

who's that girl

Been helping daniel finish off his space and work for his degree show. Can't believe how fast the last three years have gone! Went in to Birmingham City centre after to do a spot of shopping. Had burger king mmm! my summer wardrobe

I love lace dresses and i've looked at this one so many times in river island, i think i'm going to pick it up next time i'm there. I saw these shorts on friday in my local Topshop whilst I was killing time before i started work, and i told myself if i made enough in tips to buy them that I would and i did, i'm so tempted to buy them right now online but i'm gonna wait and try them on first. and who doesn't love a pair of brown sandals, i have a few pairs but could maybe do with some new ones. i cannot wait for my holiday nowww :)

river island shirts.

i bought both of these shirts from river island in the sale, the white one was £12 and the black £10. i really like the material and length of the white one; its so comfy and goes really nice with leggings.

the black one is shorter; i wore it with jeans and it was abit annoying/ uncomfortable because of the length but tucked into a skirt it will look really nice :)

did any one buy anything in the end of season sales from riverisland?
