[AD GIFTED] TISSERAND AROMATHERAPY SLEEP BETTER AROMA SPA DIFFUSER

I've been using the Tisserand Aromatherapy Sleep Better aroma spa diffuser for a couple of weeks now and I wanted to share my first impressions as i'm loving it!

I really struggle to get to sleep, I find my mind wanders and I stay up for hours just thinking and struggling to switch off. So when Tisserand got in touch to see if I wanted to try their Aroma Spa Diffuser and Sleep Better Oil I jumped at the opportunity and I'm so glad I did.

I noticed a big difference straight away with my sleep. I put the diffuser on a couple of hours before bed. It has two mist settings so you can either have it set to go off in 30 sec bursts or on constant. I have it set to 30 sec bursts and this is plenty and fills the whole room quickly. The diffuser also lights up which is really relaxing. I like to read my book in bed for a little bit before I go to sleep and this really sets the mood and gets me all ready for bed.

The diffuser is really easy to use. You fill it with water (ill to max water line) and then add 6-8 drops of oil. I have the Sleep Better oil but they do a huge range of other oils and they are all great for different things. I want to try Peppermint Essential Oil and their Total De-stress diffuser oil. They actually have a sale on at the moment so it's a great time to check them out if you've been thinking about trying essential oils.

Overall I've found the diffuser really easy to use. I love the light settings and think they really create a nice ambiance. The mist is nice and fine and smells lovely and really helps me relax and get ready for bed. I've found that by getting myself ready for bed and more relaxed I tend to not think and worry about things as much.

Tisserand Aromatherapy have a huge range of products as well as their essential oils and diffusers, they stock bath products, natural deodorants and skincare so be sure to head over to their website and check them out :)

[GIFTED] BEAUTY: THIS WORKS LOVE SLEEP RANGE

THIS WORKS LOVE SLEEP RANGE

If you've followed me for a while you will know i'm a huge fan of This Works and they're products. I especially love their deep sleep pillow spray! Today i'm sharing their new Love Sleep range! I haven't tried it all yet but thought i'd share the collection with you as it's the perfect range for Valentines Day  next week.

First up is the Love Sleep Pillow Spray, as I mentioned above i'm a huge fan of their Deep Sleep Pillow spray so I was super excited when I spotted a new version. First up the packaging is new, the bottle is much nicer and feels more expensive. The new range has a new scent of Ylang Ylang and Patchouli to get you in the mood and encapsulated deep sleep fragrance to support a restful nights sleep.

Next is the Love Sleep Breathe In, very similar to the Pillow Spray but you roll on to your pulse points and breath in deeply. A sensual blend of Ylang Ylang, Patchouli and Frankincense leaves skin feeling nourished and encourages relaxation.

The Love Sleep Bedroom Blend is an essential oil, just add a few drops to a diffuser or tissue, proven to relax and calm to make way for sleep and intimacy.

Finally is the Seduction Candle.  I have to say i'm a fan of candles in the bedroom. It calms me, I hate having harsh lighting on in the bedroom, I prefer candle light to get me in the mood. The Seduction Candle is perfect for this as it promotes a sense of wellbeing and the aromatheraputic blend will help switch you off and turn you on! The candle is lovely and smells gorgeous! I'm super excited to burn this and put it to the test!

The Love Sleep range sounds amazing! I'm super excited to give it a try. I'm quite an anxious person and struggle to switch off so this range sounds right up my street. I'm already a big fan of the deep sleep pillow spray and honestly I couldn't live without it. I use it all the time when I'm struggling to switch off. I can honestly say I spend far too much time on my phone in bed and I know that this is a huge factor into my poor sleep. I really struggle to switch off and end up scrolling. I'm going to test out the pillow spray and the candle first and see how they effect my mood in the bedroom, with Valentines day next week it couldn't have come at a better time.

To shop the Love Sleep range head over to the This Works website now...

REVIEW: ERGOPOUCH COCOON SWADDLE AND SLEEP BAG

We have been using the Ergopouch Cocoon Swaddle and Sleep bag with Amelia since she was two weeks old. Up to this point we were swaddling her with blankets. I was abit worried about using a sleeping bag with Amelia because she was so small I felt like they would just swamp her but the Ergopouch was perfect. It's a size 0-3 month so it's smaller than the other sleeping bags on the market that seem to be size 0-6.

The Ergopouch sleep bag fitted Amelia really well. It has poppers on the arms so I could tighten the arms so it fits her better and stops it from moving around. I like this feature because I could tighten the fit but also I have the poppers open now that Amelia is bigger.
It zips down the front and you can upzip it easily for nighttime changes. We found it really easy to change Amelia throughout the night. We were having to wake her up for feeds for a while so we were waking every 3-4 hours so we changed her alot throughout the night.

We have only just started using some of our other sleeping bags as Amelia is now 9lb 4oz and I think they fit her now. So she has only been wearing the Ergopouch pretty much every night since she was born. We have washed it nearly every single day and it still looks like new. It has bobble slightly but you would expect this with something thats been washed so much. The colour still looks great and all the zips and poppers look intact.

We have the 2.5 tog bag as we knew Amelia was due in November so would need a winter sleeping bag. This has been perfect, it keeps her nice and toasty but not too hot or cold. The also do a 0.2 tog so thats perfect for a summer baby.

We love the Ergopouch Cocoon, we've started getting Amelia into more of a routine so we pop her in at around 8pm for her feed and we pop her into her bed. She goes down so well, I think she sleeps loads better in her sleeping bag in the night, we tend to use blankets in the day and she just kicks them off and they bug her.

I'm going to look into buying the next size up in a summer tog for Amelia as she doesn't have a summer tog yet and we've found the Ergopouch so easy to use, it's washed up really well and Amelia settles so well in it. There's lots of other products on the Ergopouch website and they seem to have lots of promotions over on their site too so check them out.

FASHION: SPRING LOUNGEWEAR PICKS

When you work from home you tend to spend a lot of time wearing comfy clothing, I practically live in Pj's when i'm home. I work part time and blog part time so I spend about 4 days a week at home working on my blog etc. Obviously I don't always work in my pj's but I tend to opt for a more comfy casual outfit like leggings and a tshirt when i'm working from home. I was going through my Pj's and I have so many fluffy/ wintery sets and not alot of lighter spring/ summer bits so I thought i'd share some of my Spring loungewear picks with you.

First up is this cute Jack Wills Cami and Short set from Asos which looks so comfy and cosy you could easily pop on a pair of joggers if it's abit nippy but these are perfect for the warmer summery months. I love grey nightwear!

If it's abit nippy you can always pop on a dressing gown or you can even get cardigans like this one from New Look which would be perfect to keep you a bit warmer. I've picked out a few dressing gowns and wraps as i've only got a big fluffy one and I really want to get myself a cooler/ lighter one for Spring/ Summer. How cute is this Pink Unicorn Dressing Gown from Boohoo or this pink paisley print kimono from David Neiper is cute and it's cotton so again super lightweight.

I usually opt for some kind of legging and tshirt option when i'm picking out pj's just like this Pug set from Boohoo! I find them so comfy when i'm in bed and working from home. They are light so I don't get too hot. Primark do loads of different designs in this kind of style.

Slippers! I thought i'd pick out a few pairs of slippers again as mine are huge fluffy ones so i'll need to pick up a more summery pair. I thought these Pug ones from New Look were really nice, they look so comfy and not too hot! These Cactus ones from Asos look abit warmer and maybe abit too fluffy for spring but I love anything with a Cactus on, I love these!!

So they are my Spring Loungewear picks! What do you wear on your day off when your chilling at home? Or do you work from home too and spend all day in comfy clothes like me?

LIFESTYLE: GETTING A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP

I've struggled with getting to sleep for a little while now and have a little routine and a few tips that help send me off to sleep. I thought i'd share these with you as I know it's very common to have trouble sleeping and getting to sleep.

1. Get yourself into a routine - your body produces Melatonin which is what makes you go to sleep. If you don't give your body time to wind down then you won't produce enough. Try not to go on your phone whilst in bed, the blue light also effects your levels of Melatonin. About an hour before you go to bed you should finish whatever you need to do on your phone. Have a wash and get into comfortable clothes so whatever you wear to bed and unwind so read a book or do some colouring, just relax.

2. Have a bath, having a bath is another great way to unwind before bed. Get yourself some lovely bath bombs from Lush they have some really amazing scents that smell so good!

3. Below are some skincare bits that I use each night before bed and I feel this helps with my sleep. I love the This Works Deep Sleep Pillow spray, it has amazing reviews and smells lovely. You spray onto your pillow to help you sleep. I like the Vichy Skin Sleep* moisturiser as its a lovely night cream, it's not too thick and soaks into the skin really fast. I use this alongside my Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate* which makes your skin look and feel so good. This smells so nice aswell and always relaxes me.

4.  Is your bed comfortable? If not this is something you should sort out right away. If your not comfortable you can spend hours trying to get to sleep. Adjustamatic have a selection of a Adjustable beds that could be exactly what you need. Check out this video on how an uncomfortable bed can effect our sleeping pattern.

5. If i'm really struggling to switch off I light my Neom Tranquility Candle about an hour before I go to bed. This smells so good and always helps me to sleep. You can get these little travel sizes for about £15.

6. Sometimes worry can stop us from getting to sleep. If you find it hard to switch off your thoughts and you worry about things you should get yourself a nice new notepad and pen and have this by your bed. When you start to worry about something just write it down, leave it and worry about it tomorrow, give yourself time to go through your worries and do something about them.

I hope these tips help you get a better night sleep, i've been struggling again the last few nights but i've been using my phone in bed again and not giving myself time to unwind. I am going to make sure I give myself some time to relax and I don't think my pillows are that comfortable so I'm going to find some better ones, i've been reading up on these pillow reviews from The Dozy Owl I think one of these would definitely help me sleep better.

LIFESTYLE: HOW TO DESTRESS BEFORE BED

I've been having alot of trouble sleeping recently. I'm struggling to switch off as I tend to worry about things whilst i'm trying to get to sleep. I'm trying really hard to switch off and not think about things to help get a better sleep. Here's a few tips and tricks to help you de-stress before bed.

1. Have a relaxing bath! I love soaking in a nice warm bath with a Lush bath bomb* to chill out before going to bed. I light some candles and just relax, sometimes i'll watch youtube videos as well. I'm loving all the new Lush Christmas products, check them out in my recent Lush Solihull tour blog post

2. No Phones! One of my biggest struggles is sitting on my phone for hours! I'll constantly refresh instagram and twitter and sit there for along long time just scrolling! The light from your phone actually prevents your brain from producing Melatonin which is a hormone that tells our bodies its nighttime.

3. Light a candle on the evening. This Neom Tranquility Candle * that I got from Amara is lovely! The Lavender, Sweet Basil and Jasmine are a perfect combination for that perfect sleep. They relax you and calm you for a better sleep.

4. Sleep Spray, The This Works, Deep Sleep Pillow Spray is lovely. So many people rave about it! I've been using it for a little while and i'm still struggling to sleep but I think I'm thinking about too much. It does however relax me and make me feel calm.

5. That skincare routine! There's lots of lovely products that you can use on your skin that work through the night. These usually have lavender and jasmine in which calm your skin but also smell amazing and can create a better nights sleep. The Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate* is great it has that Lavender essential oil inside which soothes irritated skin and smells lovely.

6. Read a book, I find that reading a book before bed helps me sleep. I feel I worry less about whats going on in the real world because i'm reading about something else, reading makes me feel less stressed and allows me to switch off and relax before bed.

What are your tips for De-stressing before bed? I think i've got so much going on right now because i'm still struggling to get to sleep so if you have any remedies or methods let me know.
