AD: GET BBQ READY WITH JACK'S FOR THE EURO'S

We are all loving the Euro's! England are through to the last 16 which is super exciting! Tuesday is going to be a very important game. We put our England flags up and got the BBQ going to celebrate the win!

The weather has been beautiful today so it was the perfect day for a BBQ, we headed to Jack's Supermarket to get all of the essential BBQ food without breaking the bank. Jack's have a new BBQ range which is perfect to get together with the family and enjoy whilst watching the footy!

Jack's are really proud to bring great quality products at outstanding value for money. Their fresh chicken, fresh lamb and fresh beef are British all year round and their fresh milk is British too. They love the flavours of Britain and are passionate about working with and supporting hundreds of regional farmers, growers and producers.

I love the middle aisle! Its always full of fun goodies at such great prices. Today in store they had loads of paddling pools and other fun garden bits but 'When Its Gone it's Gone' so make sure you head down on a Thursday when they launch new products.

We got everything you need for a BBQ and for under £40 this included drinks. We got some Jacks fruit burst drinks for the kids, some fizzy drinks and beer to enjoy during the footy!
For food we got some 100% 1/4 beef burgers, sweet and smoky BBQ Hot Dog sausages, sweet and smoky BBQ beef kebabs and Chicken and Chorizo skewers. We also got bits like coleslaw, houmous, nachos, breadsticks, Fresh British strawberries, Grapes, Sauces, buns for the Burgers and Hot Dogs, Fresh salad, peppers onions, Pizza's, cheese, corn on the cob.

They have such a huge selection of great quality products at really outstanding prices. I honestly couldn't believe how much I got for my money.

We all really enjoyed the food, it's such good quality. It's a great excuse to head down to your local Jack's and check out the BBQ aisle. They have a really great selection. It was so nice to get the family together and enjoy some good food in the sun!

LIFESTYLE: GETTING OUTDOORS WITH NATIONAL TRUST

Croome

If you follow me on Instagram you might have noticed that we've joined National Trust. It's only £6 each or £10 for a couple a month which I think is a bargain. Some of the National Trusts are up to £12 each and some are even more depending on where you go. You also get discounts into other local attractions.

We've had some wonderful days out. We only joined in January and have been to 5 National Trusts so far! It's such a fab day out, Amelia loves being able to run around the grounds and exploring the houses. It's nice to get outdoors and try some new places! They are so clean and have loads of walks and trails to choose from. The staff are all wonderful, so friendly and helpful. They have great facilities and the cafes do lovely cakes!

I'm so excited for it to warm up and for us to explore our local National Trusts. We are really lucky to have quite a few in the surrounding area. Baddesley Clinton and Packwood House are literally up the road.

If you are doing the 1000 hours outdoor challenge then you should really look at National Trust membership, it's just lovely being outdoors! Getting some fresh air and exercise and I love that Amelia is so comfortable and loves being outside and exploring. Kids are free up to 5 years old and the some of the sites have playgrounds and woodland play areas for the kids to get involved. They also have trails and activities for the kids to take part in and during the holidays they have even more fun going on.

They also have beaches and forests which you can visit using your National Trust membership which I'm looking forward to checking out!

EVENT: JOHN LEWIS SOLIHULL WEDDING SHOWCASE

I was kindly invited along to the John Lewis store in Solihull for their first wedding showcase event. We are not planning a wedding just yet, still waiting for someone to pop the question but I've got a lot of friends and followers who are getting married soon and I wanted to show what John Lewis have to offer. I also think it's a good way to start planning a wedding as you can get loads of ideas and inspiration. So whether your planning a wedding or just want to get some ideas i'd say head on down to your local John Lewis to find out more, or head on over to their website.

There was lots going on in store which was open to all shoppers but you could also book a place at the wedding showcase, you get a glass of bubbly and a very generous goodie bag! The showcase took place all day and things such as the fashion show and beauty demonstrations were repeated throughout the day so it didn't matter what time you arrived. There was lots going on throughout the day! As I walked into the store I could hear live music, they had the Boogaloo Babes performing, they were fab! They have a very unique sound and were just lovely! Would be perfect as a wedding band, they had alot of energy!

First up I headed to the beauty department as Chanel were doing a natural wedding make up demonstration. The Chanel consultant took us step by step though what she was doing and why and what products she was using. It looked really simple but effective and the model was actually part of the fashion show later on and looked lovely! If your interested in hearing more about Chanel skincare and make up products for your wedding then head to the counter on the first floor. They actually have one of their regional make up artists on the counter next week so contact the counter to find out more.

Whilst in the beauty department I popped over to Bobbi Brown as they were also doing beauty demonstrations on the day. They offer a Bridal Make-Up Lesson, this is £50 but fully redeemable against products. They teach you how to apply the make-up. This is perfect for someone who wants to do their own make up but learn more... Maybe your on a budget so don't want to book a MUA, this way you can learn some tips and tricks on how to apply it yourself. There's some how to's over on the Bobbi Brown website.

After the Chanel demonstration I headed over to fashion for the Wedding fashion talk! This was like a fashion show, the lovely ladies from the personal shopping team had picked out a great selection of wedding outfits. There was something for everyone. I really liked that they picked from a selection of different brands and even mix and matched across brands! The fashion show was really informative. I liked that they shared the brand, price and colours that each item comes in. I saw a few lovely dresses that I want to check out for an upcoming wedding. They also covered outfits for Mother and Father of the bride/ groom as well as guests and flower girls! They also introduced Rainbow Club who do Complementary colour customisation, which is something i've never heard of. Rainbow Club actually hand dye accessories such as shoes so you get the perfect colour for your special day! All of the models were actually Partners so all work within John Lewis which was lovely!

I didn't even know that John Lewis did personal styling! It's free you just have to book, which you can do online. They have a few different options so whether you are just after some bits for an upcoming holiday, maybe for your honeymoon? Or whether you need to revamp your whole wardrobe!  They call you ahead of your appointment and get some information about you so that they can have some outfits ready for your arrival! They are then on hand to get more clothes, sizes and offer advice etc and there's no obligation to buy or minimum spend but they hope that you will love their styling and get loads of inspiration!!

After the fashion show I headed down to the basement floor where they had a selfie wall and then a home designs talk. The lovely home designs team talked about some lovely table setting ideas. It was really on trend and not your typical wedding table set up! It looked incredible! I loved the China and the glasses were gorgeous! The team talked about using products like hessian and sprigs of lavender and Ivy to add a little something to the table! I loved the name tags too, such an affordable idea but so effective!!

The home designs team also mentioned the John Lewis experience cards. They are like a gift card but a little more personal. You still load on the amount you want to gift but it's for a specific area, for example as a wedding gift you could give a Home Experience card, there is a 90 minute in store Home Design appointment. You will sit down with the home design team and they will help you spend your gift voucher. They also offer a Style Experience, Beauty experience and Nursery experience.

I had such a lovely time at the event and didn't realise how much John Lewis offer for weddings! From flowers, rings, and cakes to wedding fashion, gifts and much more. The website has loads of great products and ideas, you can also head down to your local store where the staff will be on hand to help! This was the first Wedding Showcase at the Solihull store and it was fab, I doubt it will be their last!

* I went along to the event to feature the event on my blog. I haven't been paid to feature the event, I was kindly gifted a goodie bag as was everyone else that booked onto the event.

OUTFIT POST: LEOPARD PRINT MIDI SKIRT

SKIRT: BOOHOO // JACKET: NEW LOOK // TOP: NEW LOOK // BOOTS:

We headed into Birmingham today for lunch at Bodega, see my full review here...  Afterwards we went to Cannon Hill Park and took Amelia to the Wildlife Center and then visited my nan's grave before heading over to see my Grandad so busy day!

I thought i'd wear my new leopard print skirt from Boohoo! I've been loving my polka dot midi skirt from Primark and really wanted to get another one that was similar. I spotted this one on Boohoo and thought it would be perfect as it's petite and i'm quite short and sometimes find midi length things a little too long. It was an absolute bargain too, only £13.50 so I just had to get it!

It was a little nippy so I popped my leather jacket on and kept it simple with a little Black top and my Black boots. I think the skirt would look so good with a cute slogan tee or even with a jumper tucked in.

Clint and I are both off for the rest of the week so I'm hoping to have another outfit post up later in the week!

OUTFIT POST: DAY OUT IN STRATFORD UPON AVON

JUMPER: FEMME LUXE FINERY *(GIFTED) // SKIRT: PRIMARK //  BOOTS: ROCKETDOG *(GIFTED)

We visited Stratford Upon Avon today to go to The Butterfly Farm. It was a gorgeous sunny day, a little bit nippy but I was so comfy and cosy in my new Femme Luxe Finery  jumper. It's this gorgeous bright mustard colour! I love it! It looks fab with my new skirt from Primark. It's a midi length pleated skirt with monochrome print.

We loved the Butterfly Farm, Amelia really enjoyed it. We then had a spot of lunch and a walk along the river. We had a game of mini golf - I won!! Then sat on the grass and made the most of the weather! I'm super excited for summer but loving cooler days like today where I can still wear a comfy cosy jumper but don't need a coat and can have my legs out!

How have you spent your weekend?

REVIEW: ECO BY NATY RANGE

USE CODE 'AMYPYT' FOR 15% OFF

We have recently been trying out the Eco by Naty range. We were lucky enough to get a few of their lovely products in the post so we've been giving them a go for a few weeks and I thought i'd let you know how Amelia has been getting on with them and what I think of the range.

First of all Naty is a biodegradable and environmentally friendly brand. They started off by creating a Eco-friendly nappy and now they have a full range products including wipes, pull on pants and bath and body care.

Let's start with their nappies, I really wanted to use re-usable nappies but as we live in a small flat I don't really have anywhere to keep them, hang them to dry etc so decided to use disposable nappies. I like the idea of using biodegradable nappies as this is a little more environmentally friendly. These nappies feel really soft and gentle on babies skin but are tough and not flimsy. They are very absorbent and haven't leaked at all. They are certified by the Swedish Asthma and Allergy Association. Swedish Asthma and Allergy Association is a Swedish national association working to improve the conditions and the understanding of people living with asthma, allergy, intolerance and hyper sensitivity. The only downside about these nappies is the price, they are on the pricey side and a little more than i'd like to spend on nappies however if you are in the market for a Eco-friendly, disposable nappy they are a reasonable price.

As well as the nappies we have been using the Sensitive wipes (the unscented ones) on Amelia, I haven't tried the lightly scented ones on her yet as her skin is really really sensitive and she has had reactions to wipes in the past. The wipes are nice, not too wet or dry. They are very soft and gentle. The scented wipes smell nice and fresh, not chemically. The wipes are 98.5% water so designed to be gentle on sensitive skin. They are hypoallergenic so don't irritate the skin and prevent nappy rash.

Another product i've been using is the Baby Bath Foam. It contains No fragrances. No parabens. No mineral oils. Which is great and means I don't have to worry about using it on Amelia's sensitive skin. It doesn't have a scent so is really gentle on baby. It leaves skin feeling clean and soft. It's so gentle you can use it everyday, it won't dry out babies skin.

One product I was really impressed with was the nappy sacks, I tend to buy any old nappy sacks but these are such a good idea. There's no point in using a biodegradable nappy and then putting it into a plastic bag and visa versa! They are so thick and such a lovely quality, they come on a roll so easy to use. They are a nice design, cream with green leaves.

I haven't tried the nappy cream yet, Amelia doesn't suffer with a sore bottom (hasn't yet) so haven't needed to try this yet but the nappy cream is Hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested and again suitable for everyday use. It's a healing organic rash cream with tried and tested natural ingredients that will soothe irritated skin and reduce redness often caused by trapped moisture.

I have been really impressed with the Naty products and would love to try some of their other products, especially more of their Bath and Body care range. I would really reccommend their nappies if you are looking for a Eco-Diaper.
