Glastonbury returns this year after it was cancelled last year due to a shortage of portaloo's because of the London 2012 Olympics. I decided to have a little look at my photo's from Vfestival and though i'd share them aswell as a few facts about Glastonbury!
*The festival require 3225 Toilets! 150 hand basins and 11 million litres of water is used over 5 days!
*10,000 metres of drink water hose is required like this 'WRAS approved water pipe' -

*1300 recycling volunteers who work in exchange for a ticket
* A ticket for 2011 cost £195 , The first glastonbury in 1970 cost £1 and it was the day after Jimi Hendrix died!
*Glastonbury uses 30 megawatts of electricity over the weekend!
*No band has headlined more than 3 times !
*6 miles of temporary walkway is used at Glastonbury - But you will still need your wellies !!

*It would take you about an hour to walk from one end of the site to the other when it's full of people !
*There are nearly 450 mobile catering companies at Glasto!
*40,000- Rubbish Bins (that's alot of rubbish)
*The full price of a ticket in 2013 is £205 plus a £5 booking fee plus a further £6 postage and packing for each order (of up to 8 tickets) placed.
