[GIFTED] REVIEW: THIS WORKS MORNING EXPERT RANGE
24 April 2020
Here's my thoughts on the This Works Morning Expert range. I have a few items from the range and couldn't believe I hadn't reviewed them already. I've been using these for a little while now. I think this is a great range and have been loving the products. I wanted to share my thoughts and how i've been getting on with them.
My favourite product from the collection is the Hyaluronic serum, it's so light and sinks into the skin really fast to hydrate and brighten skin. You can use daily on the skin to maximise the pumping effect. I really like this product is smells lovely and isn't greasy it just goes on without any effort. It's gentle and I really notice that my skin appears firmer when I use this.
Next is the Morning Expert Open Eyes, eye cream. I love the applicator for this product, it makes it super easy to apply and the metal applicator leaves the eye area feeling cool. This leaves the eye area appearing more awake and reduces the appearance of dark circles.
Finally the Morning Expert Multi Acid Pads, I really like these and they are super easy to use. Again can be used daily to exfoliate and enhance skin resurfacing, unclog pores and minimize morning shine. They are really nice and gentle and I think they are an easy way to add acids into regime.
Make sure you check out the bundles on the This Works website for some super amazing savings!

BEAUTY: THIS WORKS PERFECT BODY RANGE
16 July 2019
I've been loving the This Works perfect body range and though i'd share my thoughts on the collection so far. I've been using these products for a few weeks now and wanted to let you know how i'm getting on.
First up is my favourite product from the range, Perfect Legs Skin Miracle! OMG this product is amazing!! It's a moisturiser for your legs and it leaves them feeling super soft and hydrated. Enriched with Vitamin C and E to even out skin tone and restructure the skin, caramel for a warmth adding tint and Arnica to even out skin tone and fade brusing. It's leaves the legs feeling super soft and hydrated and leaves them with a subtle glow! It's just gorgeous! It's blends in so well so leaves no streaks. It gives you a soft, natural glow. You can actually use this all over too!
Along side the Perfect Legs Skin miracle I use the Perfect Legs 100% Natural scrub, this is an exfoliating balm which naturally exfoliates and restores moisture! I like to use it every few days/ once a week to get rid of any dullness. It smells incredible too and is an Eco-friendly scrub. Use this and the Perfect Legs Skin Miracle for the most amazing pins ever!!
The Perfect Cleavage Firming lotion is lovely, it's a lightweight moisturiser designed for the sensitive skin on the neck and chest! This is an area that women find goes wrinkly and can cause us to look older that we want to let on. Apply this daily to brighten, tighten, firm, and nourish damaged skin. This is an area that can be overlooked when applying moisturiser. I've been using this for afew weeks and it's just such a lovely product.
Last but not least is the Perfect Heels Rescue Balm. This product is perfect for bringing back the moisture and repairing damaged heels and feet. Massage it into the skin to combat dry cracked heels. It's a nice product not too greasy/ balmy. It dries into the skin well and quickly, I tend to pop it on before bed or if i'm wearing sandals I will apply it during the day.
There's loads of great offers on right now so head over to the This Works website to check out the Perfect body range!

REVIEW: BAD APPLE HAIR TOPSHOP BIRMINGHAM BULLRING
28 April 2018
I recently went along to Bad Apple Hair in Birmingham for a treatment and blow dry! The Birmingham Salon is situated inside Topshop in the Bullring. It's a lovely salon, very clean and tidy and is nice and bright. I love the neon flamingo light and they had a huge TV screen and was playing some really good music. It was a really good atmosphere and I felt really comfortable and relaxed.
I went along to try out the Innoluxe V2 hair treatment, The treatment repairs and rejuvenates the hair.
'INNOluxe V2 penetrates through to the inner structure of the hair to covalently bond with the hair’s natural keratin. INNOluxe V2 creates ‘super strong’ hair bonds and also reconnects the sulphur bridges, truly turning back the clock to healthy hair.'
I arrived at the salon and was greeted by Jack and discussed what I wanted to achieve. I've recently had my hair done so I wanted a treatment to refresh my hair and make it look smooth and fresh again as it was starting to look dull. For my blow dry I wanted my hair to be curly, we decided on beachy waves which really excited me as I usually tend to have tighter curls.
We went over to the sinks and washed my hair and applied the treatments. The V2 treatment consists of two parts so after the first treatment had been on for 10 minutes he washed it off and applied the 2nd stage. It was really nice and relaxing in the salon, I had a cuppa and scrolled through instagram in peace (I didn't bring Amelia along, her daddy had her)
We then went over to style my hair, Jack applied a couple of products, one of them was the Innoluxe Elixir V2 which is a highly concentrated leave-in conditioner that reinforces the hair’s new strength and flexible proteins. With new heat-active proteins, the hair actually strengthens as it dries.
Jack dried my hair straight as I have quite frizzy hair and have a lot of fly-aways he then curled my hair using hair straighteners, he created nice loose curls. Once he had curled all of my hair he applied some more products these were all Bedhead products, he applied dry shampoo to add some texture and a little hairspray, the products all smelt sooo good! He used his fingers to brush out the curls so they looked more beachy.
I was so so happy with the finished look, i've never had beachy curls before and I was so happy with the finish. My hair was left feeling super clean and so soft. My hair actually feels really strong and healthy. I really liked the treatment and I feel like it has really helped my hair. I had a lovely time at the salon and would love to go back next time I get my hair done. I have actually been recreating the beachy curls and love it!!
* my visit to the salon was complementary, I have not been paid for this review.

BEAUTY: STILA BOHEMIAN BEAUTY
20 March 2018
I recently went along to a blogger event at Harvey Nichols in Birmingham and got to check out all of latest products in the new Stila Spring collection. The collection is called Bohemian Beauty. The range has a boho, gypsy vibe to it and concentrates on colours and textures.
There's lots of new products in the range and lots of amazing new shades to choose from. The collection is huge.
I have been given a few bits from the new collection and thought i'd feature them on my blog. I have been using them and thought i'd share my first impressions.
I'm loving the Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in Jezabel, it's a gorgeous Rose Gold Shade. I fell in love with this at the event and it was in my goody bag which was amazing. I've used it everyday this week and it's just such a lovely product. The Shimmer & Glow contains the same translucent adhesive base formula as the original Glitter & Glow but with a smaller particle pearl for high impact shimmering colour minus the Glitter. I haven't used the Glitter & Glow shadows before but have heard really good things. The Shimmer & Glow shadow is basically the same but without the glitter so it's a little more subtle for everyday. Jezebel is a gorgeous Rose Gold shade, it's a pink/ gold shade and has a beautiful shimmer finish. It's so easy to blend out or you can just sweep it across the lid for a more pigmented finish. I've been blending it out and working a darker shade into the corner.
I've also been loving the Stila smudge Kajal Eye liner in Sapphire, it's this beautiful dark navy blue shade. I have never worn a blue eyeliner before as I felt it would look dated but this shade is gorgeous. I've been wearing it all week and I think it brings out the blue in my eyes. It makes my eyes stand out more and i've been wearing it along side the Jezebel eyeshadow and it works really well. I've applied the liner to my lid and under my eye and blended it out. They also have an Intense Black, Nude and Espresso shade too.
I haven't tried the liquid lipstick just yet but the Stila Matte Liquid lipsticks are so good. They are a really creamy formula and not drying on the lips at all. Stila have released some beautiful new shades for the spring collection, I love the look of Dolce Vita. As well as the original Stay all day liquid lipstick they have released a shimmer formula and and sheer finish. They have the same staying power and same amazing feel but without the matte finish. The Sheer liquid lipstick is a matte finish but with a more translucent finish so it's more of a wash of colour and the shimmer liquid lipstick has a metallic shimmering finish.
I will be putting up a post about the Stila blogger event that I attended with more images of the whole range so be sure to check that out.

BEAUTY: MY SPRING MAKE UP COLLECTION
13 February 2018
I thought i'd share a few bits from my make up collection. These are a few of the bits i'm using this spring. I'm really loving the blush pink trend that seems to be everywhere, fashion, interiors and beauty is no exception.
I've been loving the Fenty beauty foundation, it's a build-able, medium to full coverage foundation. I love the soft matte finish. It's only £26 which I think is really affordable for a higher end foundation, I've had it since Christmas and I still have loads left. I went into Harvey Nichols to get matched up and it's the perfect shade.
I've had this Clarins Ombre Matte Eyeshadow for a little while and really need to start using it more. It's a cream to powder eyeshadow so it's lightweight and easy to apply but finishes and lasts like a powder shadow.
The Ariana Grande perfume is one of my favourite perfumes, it's a lovely sweet fruity scent.
I've been using a couple of new mascaras recently. The Benefit Roller Lash mascara is so good and makes my lashes really long. I've also been using the Maybelline Total Temptation mascara which is good for length but also adds volume to your lashes.
My favourite concealer is the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer. I've used it for years and love it. I have tried lots of other concealers but this is just such a bargain and such a good product.
I'm also loving the Soap and Glory Supercat liquid eyeliner and the Fenty Beauty Matchstix shimmer skinstick is such a lovely product. I've been using a beauty blender to apply it and using it as a highlight / blusher.
Have you added some new products to your make up collection for spring? Whats your favourite make up right now I need to add some new bits to my collection. I really need a new highlighter as I don't really have any right now, whats your favourite highlighter?

BEAUTY: URBAN DECAY ALL NIGHTER FOUNDATION REVIEW
6 November 2017
I've been using the Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation for a while now, I've actually just repurchased it and realised that i'd never reviewed it on my blog. So I thought i'd share my thoughts with you and finally review it.
I have it in shade 2 which is a light shade, I was actually matched up a while ago but am still happy with this shade. It's a natural shade and I can easily use bronzer to add abit of colour. They have 24 shades to choose from
The packaging is gorgeous and I like that it has a pump and lid as you can easily throw it in your make up bag and you don't need to worry about accidents happening. The pump gives you a good amount of product, I find that one pump pretty much does my whole face. I tend to go for a natural coverage but I know my sister uses a few more pumps and builds up a fuller coverage. I use a buffing brush or sometimes a stippling brush to apply and I love the natural finish this gives. It's really easy to build up and if i'm having a bad skin day or going out I'll put a little more on for a fuller coverage.
The product blends really well and looks so natural. It's not cakey at all and doesn't sit on the skin. It sinks in well and leaves the skin looking flawless. I have quite dry skin with some combination areas and I find this works really well for me. It doesn't go patchy at all. It's so easy to apply and work into the skin. I use this along side my Collection lasting perfection concealer and it's the perfect base. It dries into the skin very fast and then i'll usually apply a setting powder and my contour for everyday.
As I mentioned above I've just repurchased this foundation and I don't do that very often.I quite like trying out different brands and foundations but I found this ticked all of the boxes and is a really good everyday foundation. I find it really easy to apply and it always looks good. I have had so many reviews about looking radiant and healthy since i've started using this foundation.
It's £29 for the bottle which I think is really reasonable and is much cheaper that foundations I was using before and the pump is already attached so you don't have to spend extra money buying this. I've used the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray before and really like this for nights out, i'd love to try out a few more bits and see what I think.
I have seen mixed reviews on this foundation so it's worth checking out a few reviews. As I mentioned above I have dry skin and I find it doesn't cling to any dry patches but I've seen reviews saying people don't get on well with it. Maybe try a sample first and see how your skin reacts. I took a risk and just picked it up in store and I love it.

BEAUTY: FAVOURITE AUTUMN MAKE UP
31 October 2017
I love Autumn, I like wrapping up warm in cosy jumpers and boots. I like wearing big chunky scarves and gloves and I love sitting in front of the TV, heating on with a big cup of Hot Chocolate with cream and marshmallows.
I also love Autumnal make up, I love getting out those browns, reds and oranges and playing around with some new looks. Today i'm gonna share a few products i've been loving this season.
First up, i'm sticking with the Urban Decay All Nighter foundation, I've really been loving it, (read my full review here) I have found my skins been a little dry due to the weather and it's been a little patchy on my dry areas but with a decent moisturiser i've been able to combat this. To apply i'm using the Blank Canvas cosmetics F08 Dome buffing brush to get a really flawless and natural finish. It's a gorgeous brush and works really well with the All Nighter foundation. It blends really well and doesn't leave your skin looking cakey.
I loved using the Nip+Fab Highlight palette all summer and love love love it! I thought i'd switch it up and try the contour palette for the autumn months as I don't need to look so bronzed and shimmery. The Contour palette is a lovely matte powder contour kit, it's super easy to use. The powders blend really easily and the shades are really good. I've been using the F15 small tapered brush with this palette as it's great for contouring, I actually use it for under the eye and highlighting as I prefer to use a bigger brush for my bronzer.
I've heard such good things about the Soap and Glory Supercat eyeliner and have no idea why i've never tried it before! OMG it's so good. It's super easy to use, It's only £6.50 so super affordable. It's suck a dark black colour and just applies so easily. One sweep and your done, it's just so good. I'm going to be repurchasing this over and over. It lasts really well, whatever the weather.
I'm still loving the NYX Tame and Frame brow pomade, another one I'm going to need to repurchase. Again it's super affordable and easy to get hold of. Mines maybe a little dried up now but i've had it for ages!! I've been using the Eye of Horus Brow Fibre extend too alongside the pomade for a few months and i'm seriously loving it, I actually have a full review coming up later in the week.
For my eyes i've been using the Morphe 35T palette, it just screams Autumn! I love the mixture of matte and shimmer shades. There's so many amazing shades and they are amazing quality, so easy to apply and blend! I'm also loving my Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics palette as this has some lovely shades that are just perfect for Autumn, again really good quality shadows that are easy to blend and work with. This has some really good shades for when you don't have time to do a whole smokey eye but just want a sweep of colour. I'm loving the shade Commando for everyday, Just a sweep over the eyelid and i'm ready to go, it's a lovely shade for the Autumn season.
That's my favourite Autumn make up for this season, i've been loving trying out the Blank Canvas Cosmetics brushes as they are just amazing brushes and are actually really affordable. I'd really recommend checking them out if you are in the market for some new brushes. They have a huge selection and lots of colours to choose from.

BEAUTY: HOW TO FAKE IT THIS SUMMER WITH RIMMEL
17 August 2017
The summer holidays are nearly over, just a few more weeks left and Autumn will be back. I'm quite excited for summer to be over as next month is my birthday, I will be turning 25 and I am also having my baby shower next month which is super exciting! Our little bubba is due end of October/ first week of November which I'm really excited about so i've been counting down the days of summer.
My favourite thing about summer is looking sunkissed, I love going crazy with the bronzer and highlighter to create that holiday glow! Today's post is all about how to fake that summer glow using some fab products from Rimmel.
If you are not going on holiday then you probably won't get a sunkissed holiday glow unless you are going to fake it as the weather in the UK right now is all over the place. Here's a few tips and products you can use to achieve a gorgeous glow.
The Rimmel Radiance shimmer brick is a really good all round product and such a bargain at just £5.99* The multi-tonal bronzing powder creates a healthy glow, it shimmers so is perfect for a sunkissed summery glow. I love that you can use a big powder brush and sweep all over for a gorgeous bronzed look or use a smaller brush and use it as a contour, using the bronzer to create the glow and highlighter to set the look and to amplify the cheeks.
The Rimmel Insta Duo Contour stick* is another one of my favourites this summer, it's super easy to use and makes contouring so simple. One end is contour and the other highlight so you can define and enhance your facial features. Really easy to blend out and comes in 3 shade options.
The Rimmel London Sculpting palette by Kate* is another must have this summer. This 3 in 1 kit makes that subtle summer glow super easy to achieve. Step 1 is highlight, use this to catch the light on your cheek bones, brow bones and down the bridge of your nose Step 2 is contour, the darker shade is used to define and recede areas that you don't want to emphasise like the jaw line, hair line and finally step 3 is the shimmer powder blush which adds that pop of colour. Leaving you looking fresh and healthy.
Finally for that all over glow grab yourself a tube of Sun Shimmer instant tan,* I haven't tried this yet as i'm not very good at applying tan, and honestly i'm just too lazy but the reviews on this one are really good, I like that it's a matte finish and it's water resistant so perfect for the warmer days.
What are your must haves for that summer glow? How do you create a sunkissed look? Have you tried any of these Rimmel products?
