FASHION: RED LIPS AND POLKA DOTS

TOP: PRIMARK //  JEANS: NEW LOOK // BELT: PRIMARK // BAG: ACCESSORIZE // SHOES: MATALAN // BRACELET: DAISY LONDON*

How cute is this outfit? I've been seriously loving this polka dot top! I got it in Primark as I really loved the polka dots but wasn't sure as it's a crepe material and I felt it was a little formal/ workweary
I'm so glad I got it as I feel it looks fab with a pair of jeans and these mustard shoes from Matalan. I think the red lip and mustard accessories add a little vintage touch to this outfit and I love it! I wore this outfit yesterday and just spent the day visiting family and we had a little mooch around the shops so a pretty standard Saturday! How cute is this little Daisy London bracelet from Browns Family
Jewellers, I love a little bit of Rose Gold and I think it's so pretty and dainty.

I'm hoping to get back on top of outfit posts as the weather is getting better and I'm feeling a little more confident in myself.

BEAUTY: STILA BOHEMIAN BEAUTY

I recently went along to a blogger event at Harvey Nichols in Birmingham and got to check out all of latest products in the new Stila Spring collection. The collection is called Bohemian Beauty. The range has a boho, gypsy vibe to it and concentrates on colours and textures.

There's lots of new products in the range and lots of amazing new shades to choose from. The collection is huge.

I have been given a few bits from the new collection and thought i'd feature them on my blog. I have been using them and thought i'd share my first impressions.

I'm loving the Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in Jezabel, it's a gorgeous Rose Gold Shade. I fell in love with this at the event and it was in my goody bag which was amazing. I've used it everyday this week and it's just such a lovely product. The Shimmer & Glow contains the same translucent adhesive base formula as the original Glitter & Glow but with a smaller particle pearl for high impact shimmering colour minus the Glitter. I haven't used the Glitter & Glow shadows before but have heard really good things. The Shimmer & Glow shadow is basically the same but without the glitter so it's a little more subtle for everyday. Jezebel is a gorgeous Rose Gold shade, it's a pink/ gold shade and has a beautiful shimmer finish. It's so easy to blend out or you can just sweep it across the lid for a more pigmented finish. I've been blending it out and working a darker shade into the corner.

I've also been loving the Stila smudge Kajal Eye liner in Sapphire, it's this beautiful dark navy blue shade. I have never worn a blue eyeliner before as I felt it would look dated but this shade is gorgeous. I've been wearing it all week and I think it brings out the blue in my eyes. It makes my eyes stand out more and i've been wearing it along side the Jezebel eyeshadow and it works really well. I've applied the liner to my lid and under my eye and blended it out. They also have an Intense Black, Nude and Espresso shade too.

I haven't tried the liquid lipstick just yet but the Stila Matte Liquid lipsticks are so good. They are a really creamy formula and not drying on the lips at all. Stila have released some beautiful new shades for the spring collection, I love the look of Dolce Vita. As well as the original Stay all day liquid lipstick they have released a shimmer formula and and sheer finish. They have the same staying power and same amazing feel but without the matte finish. The Sheer liquid lipstick is a matte finish but with a more translucent finish so it's more of a wash of colour and the shimmer liquid lipstick has a metallic shimmering finish.

I will be putting up a post about the Stila blogger event that I attended with more images of the whole range so be sure to check that out.

REVIEW: ROSIE FOR AUTOGRAPH FIRST IMPRESSIONS

I've been giving the New Rosie for Autograph collection from M&S a go and thought i'd share my first impressions with you guys.

First up the packaging as you can probably see for yourself is beautiful. It looks really expensive and the rose gold colour is so pretty. It feels really nice and sturdy, great quality for the money.

I haven't tried the whole range yet but I thought i'd share my first impressions for the bits and pieces I have been using. The range has something for everyone eyeshadows, bronzers, lip products and much more.

I've been giving some of the eyeshadows a try, this eyeshadow palette is gorgeous. It's got a lovely selection of shades perfect for any everyday eye look. You can create a really nice natural smokey eye look using this palette too! With a range of pearl and matte finishes you can create a number of different looks. This palette is great for anyone and is really easy to use and blend. I really want to pick up another palette, I like the shades in Copper Gold Rush which is more pinky/ gold shades.
The palette is a great price at only £18

I've been testing out the eyeshadow sticks too, these are so creamy. I'm not a huge fan of eyeshadow sticks as I prefer powder shadows but these are very easy to use and such a handy thing to have.
I find the shadow sticks are great when your in a hurry and just want a pop of colour. The shades I have are really easy versatile everyday colours. Just a sweep over the lid and your good to go. I think these are perfect for everyday and they last really well. The colour payoff is really good and again i'm really impressed with the quality for just £12.50 They come in a few different shades, I love Almond Eyes, it's a beautiful pink/ gold shade.

I've tried the Bronzer a couple of times, it's a nice light shade which is great as I have fair skin and it blends really well. I like the colour, it gives me a nice natural glow. It's easy to apply and the packaging is just gorgeous. The palette has a mirror which is always an added bonus. I think this product is really easy to build up so you can build up the colour from day - night.

I've also tried the Insta Lash mascara, I found it lengthens the lashes really well. I went over the top of my lashes with another mascara to add more volume as this one didn't really give the volume I like from my mascara. The mascara does lengthen the lashes and defines the lashes. I really like to apply this first and add the length to my lashes and then follow with another mascara for more volume. This is a really nice finish for everyday.

I still need to give the lip products a try and the cream blusher so keep an eye out for those in a full review. I am seriously loving the Rosie for Autograph range and the packaging is just gorgeous. The quality of the make up is spot on and the price is good. The brand is Cruelty Free too which i'm sure lots of people will be pleased to hear as they offer a huge range of different products.

BEAUTY: KIKO MILANO HAUL

When we were in London a few weeks ago I had a look around Kiko and it was too busy so I headed into Birmingham and checked out the store. It's new in Birmingham and has recently opened a store in the Bullring. I wanted to check out their Eyeshadow sticks after reading some good things, I swatched a few in store and went for this silvery mink shade, called Light Taupe, my first impressions are good, I swatched them on my hand and they lasted all day, i've used this for the first time and i'm really impressed they are so so easy to use. They have loads of shades and I will be picking up some more!! I picked up a couple of eyeliners in the sale aswell.
I picked up this Vivid lip colour in the sale for £1.70 the finish is lovely and the colour is really nice. I love the Velvet Mat lipsticks, they are only £6.90 and they have so many different shades. I picked up a dark nude shade which is lovely. I really love the finish of this lipstick and will be picking up lots of shades next time i'm in Birmingham. I also picked up one of these lipliners which is a lovely creamy finish so I think I might pick up some more of these.

I've been so impressed with everything I picked up in Kiko and I will be heading back to pick up more. If you are tempted to have a browse around Kiko, be sure to download their app onto your phone and sign up for their rewards. You get 10% off your first shop and collect points, when you reach 2000 you get money off your shop so it's worth signing up

BEAUTY: IT'S A BEAUTY WISHLIST

So I have a huge list here of beauty bits and pieces that i'd love to add to my collection, I don't actually need any of this as my make up collection is huge but i'm a girl and I love pretty new things.

I have had a couple of these items before but would love to repurchase them, first is Black Opium by YSL, I have had two bottles of this and I need more. Last year I was on a perfume ban because I own so much perfume and Clint bought me a bottle of Black Opium in Duty Free which is nearly gone, so I feel like I need another bottle but I know I have so many other perfumes to use up first.

I've also had Nars Sheerglow before, i've just used up the last of my bottle and I really love it, it's one of my favourite everyday/ day off work foundations. It lasts all day and makes my skin look flawless. I usually use Loreal Matte Infaliable when i'm at work because it's cheaper.

I've got so many eye shadow palettes but the Gwen Steffani palette from Urban Decay is gorgeous. I need all of those beautiful shades. It's so nice, this is going on my wish list for sure. I might have to hint at Clint that I need it!

The Kevin Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer is such a fab little product, one of the lovely ladies in Space NK recently recommended it. You can mix it into your daycream to make it into the perfect foundation or you can use it as a very very high coverage concealer.

The Steven Klein limited edition Nars Palette is so dreamy! I don't really need this as I had the Limited Edition Nars Palette last year which is still going strong however for £45 this is such a good product.

I just want a Diptyque candle I have my own place now and I feel like I should just have one, ( not to light because its a £40 candle !!! but they so pretty)

Finally this beautiful Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick, i've picked out Glastonberry because its beautiful but i'd be happy with any shade, they are just beautiful.

REVIEW: MAYBELLINE COLOR DRAMA LIPSTICK

MAYBELLINE COLOR DRAMA LIPSTICK IN NUDE PERFECTION - £4.99 - BOOTS

So I spotted the lovely Sophia from TATTOOED TEALADY blogged about this Mac Velvet Teddy dupe, I just had to pick it up and try it for myself. Velvet Teddy has to be my favourite lipstick ever. It's the perfect nude, Mac matte lipsticks are amazing, I have a fair few in my collection. My Velvet Teddy is starting to wear down so when Sophia mentioned this dupe for a bargain £4.99 I had to get it. Velvet Teddy is the brown/ nude shade that every blogger seems to be wearing right now. Recently Kylie Jenner shared her secret and let out that to create her iconic lip shes uses Velvet Teddy lipstick by Mac, and also the Mac Soar and Whirl lip liners.

I popped into boots last week to get some lunch and this fell into my basket. I haven't tried any Maybelline lip products for awhile. I have to say these color drama lipsticks are amazing, They are like a lip pencil and come in a selection of colours. The consistancy of Nude Perfection is so creamy, it glides on really easily and lasts all day. The finish is matte and its just such a lovely creamy finish, not drying at all. The colour is so so close to Velvet Teddy, like Sophia said Velvet Teddy is slightly warmer in shade, ( see swatches below)

I've been wearing Nude Perfection since I picked it up last week, I just love it and for £10 cheaper I will be picking it up again. I might have to stock up! It's a perfect everyday nude and a great dupe for Velvet Teddy.

Overall for a bargain price of £4.99 I don't think you can go wrong with Nude Perfection by Maybelline color drama stick. It's a must have product if your after a cheap nude lip product, maybe if your not sure about splurging £15 for Velvet Teddy?  I'd say give this ago first!

TOP PICKS : LIPSTICKS

Recently i've been trying to wear lipstick more often. I have so many lipsticks and I don't use them very much. I have a lot of everyday shades so it's not even as if they are too bright or bold for everyday, I'm just a little bit lazy and tend to get it all over my face and teeth.

I thought i'd pick out some of my favourites and share them with you. These are the ones that tend to be in handbag and they are shades I feel comfortable wearing.

First up is Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Mandate, this is a gorgeous classic red shade. I love the Nars Satin Lip Pencils as they are just so easy to use and leave your lips feeling really nice and hydrated.
Next is another Satin Lip Pencil but this time in Bansar, this is my all time favourite. I wear it all the time. It's a gorgeous brown nude shade. It's so easy to wear and it makes me look fancy and chic and luxe haha I feel really good when i'm wearing this shade.
Next up is this gorgeous lipstick from Rimmel, its from the lasting finish lipstick range and is shade 077 Asia. It's again a really nice nude. It has a slight shimmer to it but again leaves your lips so nice and hydrated. I picked this up whilst looking for a perfect nude. Its a really nice formula and such a great value for money.
Next is Innocent a shade by Topshop. This is a pink shade, leaves your lips feeling velvety and smooth but has a nice matte finish. The next lipstick is this collection lipstick from the Gothic Glam in the shade Revenge. Which is a really gorgeous autumny berry red shade. I love using this when i'm going out. I have reviewed this before, read the review here. Next up is one of my favourite Mac Shades Angel its a peachy nude, a lovely everyday shade. Its a frost lipstick so leaves the lips moisturised. Its so nice, its really velvety and soft. Finally is Beige A Nu which is a Color Riche lipstick by Loreal Paris. Its a gorgeous brown/redish nude. Another great everyday shade, really easy to apply and to wear and a great value for money.

GET THAT NUDE LIP AT A BUDGET PRICE!

So everyone seems to be going crazy over the Kylie Jenner Nude Lip, Sales of Mac's Velvet Teddy have gone through the roof! I'm really not a huge fan of matte lips so I went in search of some nude lip products to have a play with. I wanted to find some affordable products so I headed to boots.

I picked up the Loreal Paris Infaillable Lip Liner in 708 Always Toasted, Loreal Paris 630 Beige A Nu Color Riche lipstick and Rimmel London 077 Asia lipstick. As you can see from my swatched below these are nice nudes shades with a slight pink colour to them.

The Rimmel London formula is really nice and has a slight matte finish, as I said I don't really like matte formulas because I find them drying on my lips. The rimmel one is really nice your lips feel hydrated and moisturised but the finish isn't glossy, its just got a slight hydrated finish rather than completly matte and dry. The colour is a nude with a slight pink/brown colour to it which is really nice and it works well with the lip liner that I picked up.

The Loreal Paris Color Riche is a really similar shade, it has abit more peach undertone to it. Again it leaves the appearance of a matte lip product but is actually quite moisturising on the lips and isn't drying. It's less matte than the Rimmel forumla but its such a lovely lipstick

The Loreal Paris lip liner is really easy to use, I think next time i'd rather buy a pencil rather than a twist up mechanical style pencil. I snapped it a couple of times so ended up wasting loads of product and I'd like to be able to sharpen the pencil for a more defined and precise line. It's easy to use and long lasting, the colour is really versatile and you'd be able to use it with loads of lipsticks.

REVIEW: NARS SATIN LIP PENCIL IN BANSAR

NARS SATIN LIP PENCIL IN BANSAR- £18.00* - NARS

Every single Nars product i've ever tried I have loved and this is no exception. Bansar is a new shade avaliable in the Satin Lip Pencil. I've wore this so much over the last week or so.
The Nars website describes it as Rose Brown, its just such a gorgeous shade. It's like a dark brown with a hint of pink to it. It's so creamy and really easy to apply. My lips feel really moisturised and
soft. The colour lasts ages I applied it at about 12 and it was still on at 4 o'clock when I got to the gym. It doesn't go all chapped or cakey either. I'm seriously so in love with this product. I have a couple of other lip pencils from Nars to try out which i'm so excited about. I have to be honest i've been wearing this shade so much! Its just such a versatile colour great for everyday or for a night out.

I don't usually tend to spend too much on lip products, I have a drawer full of Mac Lipsticks that are just sitting there however I would buy another Satin Lip Pencil from Nars. They are so easy to apply and you get such an amazing product for your money.
