[GIFTED] EYLURE EXAGGERATE 141 LASHES

I went out on Saturday night and thought this would be perfect to test out my new lashes! The Eylure Exaggerate 141 lashes are super wispy so perfect for a night out!! They are long and full of volume and just add drama to any eye look.

I don't really wear lashes as I struggle to put them on but I found these Eylure ones really easy to apply. I used the falsh lash applicator by falseeyelashes.co.uk/ which really helped! It stops you from getting glue all over your fingers which really helps when applying the lashes.

I got loads of compliments on my lashes, as I said I don't usually wear them so I think they made my make up look amazing!!

They are super affordable too! Eylure so loads of different styles so if your after something more natural or less full they have loads of styles to choose from.

Falselashes.co.uk stock loads of lashes so they have something for everyone! They also offer free 1st class delivery on all orders!

Check out my before and after below !

BEAUTY: MY SPRING MAKE UP COLLECTION

I thought i'd share a few bits from my make up collection. These are a few of the bits i'm using this spring. I'm really loving the blush pink trend that seems to be everywhere, fashion, interiors and beauty is no exception.

I've been loving the Fenty beauty foundation, it's a build-able,  medium to full coverage foundation. I love the soft matte finish. It's only £26 which I think is really affordable for a higher end foundation, I've had it since Christmas and I still have loads left. I went into Harvey Nichols to get matched up and it's the perfect shade.

I've had this Clarins Ombre Matte Eyeshadow for a little while and really need to start using it more. It's a cream to powder eyeshadow so it's lightweight and easy to apply but finishes and lasts like a powder shadow.

The Ariana Grande perfume is one of my favourite perfumes, it's a lovely sweet fruity scent.

I've been using a couple of new mascaras recently. The Benefit Roller Lash mascara is so good and makes my lashes really long. I've also been using the Maybelline Total Temptation mascara which is good for length but also adds volume to your lashes.

My favourite concealer is the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer. I've used it for years and love it. I have tried lots of other concealers but this is just such a bargain and such a good product.

I'm also loving the Soap and Glory Supercat liquid eyeliner and the Fenty Beauty Matchstix shimmer skinstick is such a lovely product. I've been using a beauty blender to apply it and using it as a highlight / blusher.

Have you added some new products to your make up collection for spring? Whats your favourite make up right now I need to add some new bits to my collection. I really need a new highlighter as I don't really have any right now, whats your favourite highlighter?

BEAUTY: FAVOURITE AUTUMN MAKE UP

I love Autumn, I like wrapping up warm in cosy jumpers and boots. I like wearing big chunky scarves and gloves and I love sitting in front of the TV, heating on with a big cup of Hot Chocolate with cream and marshmallows.

I also love Autumnal make up, I love getting out those browns, reds and oranges and playing around with some new looks. Today i'm gonna share a few products i've been loving this season.

First up, i'm sticking with the Urban Decay All Nighter foundation, I've really been loving it, (read my full review here) I have found my skins been a little dry due to the weather and it's been a little patchy on my dry areas but with a decent moisturiser i've been able to combat this. To apply i'm using the Blank Canvas cosmetics F08 Dome buffing brush to get a really flawless and natural finish. It's a gorgeous brush and works really well with the All Nighter foundation. It blends really well and doesn't leave your skin looking cakey.

I loved using the Nip+Fab Highlight palette all summer and love love love it! I thought i'd switch it up and try the contour palette for the autumn months as I don't need to look so bronzed and shimmery. The Contour palette is a lovely matte powder contour kit, it's super easy to use. The powders blend really easily and the shades are really good. I've been using the F15 small tapered brush with this palette as it's great for contouring, I actually use it for under the eye and highlighting as I prefer to use a bigger brush for my bronzer.

I've heard such good things about the Soap and Glory Supercat eyeliner and have no idea why i've never tried it before! OMG it's so good. It's super easy to use, It's only £6.50 so super affordable. It's suck a dark black colour and just applies so easily. One sweep and your done, it's just so good. I'm going to be repurchasing this over and over. It lasts really well, whatever the weather.

I'm still loving the NYX Tame and Frame brow pomade, another one I'm going to need to repurchase. Again it's super affordable and easy to get hold of. Mines maybe a little dried up now but i've had it for ages!! I've been using the Eye of Horus Brow Fibre extend too alongside the pomade for a few months and i'm seriously loving it, I actually have a full review coming up later in the week.

For my eyes i've been using the Morphe 35T palette, it just screams Autumn! I love the mixture of matte and shimmer shades. There's so many amazing shades and they are amazing quality, so easy to apply and blend! I'm also loving my Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics palette as this has some lovely shades that are just perfect for Autumn, again really good quality shadows that are easy to blend and work with. This has some really good shades for when you don't have time to do a whole smokey eye but just want a sweep of colour. I'm loving the shade Commando for everyday, Just a sweep over the eyelid and i'm ready to go, it's a lovely shade for the Autumn season.

That's my favourite Autumn make up for this season, i've been loving trying out the Blank Canvas Cosmetics brushes as they are just amazing brushes and are actually really affordable. I'd really recommend checking them out if you are in the market for some new brushes. They have a huge selection and lots of colours to choose from.

LIFESTYLE: BIRTHDAY GIFT IDEAS FOR HER

Today I thought i'd share some gift ideas for her! In my family we have alot of birthdays throughout August and September and most of us are women so it gets abit crazy and I have lots of gifts to buy. My birthday was on Monday so I thought it would be fun to put together a few gift ideas for her and include a few bits I actually got for my birthday aswell as some gifts that I would gift to my friends and family.

First up is flowers! I love getting flowers and love having flowers around the apartment. I always buy flowers for my mom and sometimes for my friends and family. If my mom is working I will usually order flowers to get delivered to her work, You can find some really beautiful flowers online at Flying Flowers they have a huge selection of bouquets for any occasion. They offer free standard delivery or you can upgrade to guarantee delivery. I just search for 'lilies' as they are my moms favourite and it brings up lots of amazing bouquets full of gorgeous lilies.

I really want the Naked Heat Palette and think it's such a good gift idea for any beauty lover. You get 12 really decent size shades and they are colour's that would suit most people as there's some gorgeous brown/natural shades. I already own a few of the Urban Decay palettes and they are my favourite eyeshadows. The quality is amazing and worth every penny.

You can't go wrong with a candle. Whether you opt for a cheap supermarket brand one or go for something more luxurious like the Winter candle from The White Company. I love the candles from TkMaxx and would recommend checking them out if your on a budget but want to get a gorgeous designer candle.

I have a charm bracelet from Thomas Sabo which i've had for a few years. They are such a good gift idea as you can buy so many different charms for them. The bracelet wasn't very expensive and the charms vary in price but start at around £20. Clint got me a gorgeous heart charm for my birthday and had it engraved which was so thoughtful and it was my favorite gift. My mom also got me a little pink baby-grow charm which is super cute!

Perfume is also a good gift idea, again whatever budget you have you can find something for everyone. Next do some really good fragrances and you can usually get a good deal if you go to places like Bodycare or Savers. If your after something more expensive then check out YSL Black Opium, it's my all time favourite perfume. I've had a few bottles now and it's just such a gorgeous smell.

I was so excited when I opened up my new stylPro brush cleaner. It's an electric brush cleaner that dramatically speeds up cleaning and drying your brushes. If you've not seen one before then check it out. I've used my sisters before and it's amazing, I can't wait to clean my brushes.

Finally I love getting sweets and chocolate for my birthday and I spotted this retro sweet hamper on Flying Flowers and it's such a cool idea. You might be struggling what to get someone, maybe you have a friend or family member that lives across the country and you don't know what to get them, you can have this sent straight out to them so you don't have to worry about paying extra for delivery and they get to eat lots of yummy retro sweets, they also have lots of other hampers to choose from.

Have you got any birthday's coming up? Is your family like mine and all the birthdays are bunched together or do you have birthdays all through the year? What gifts would you like to recieve for your birthday this year?

FASHION: WHAT TO WEAR TO A SUMMER WEDDING?

Are you going to a wedding this summer? Don't know what to wear? I thought i'd put together this post and share a few of my favourite picks for a summer wedding guest.

I thought i'd feature a few bits for him as well as her as I have quite a few male readers.

I'm going to start with my for her picks! I love this orange floral dress from Asos! It's really pretty and on trend right now. It has short sleeves so perfect for those of you who don't like your arms, no need to worry about a cardigan or cover up. The length is really good, it's a midi length which suits alot of people. I'm short and find midi length works really well for me, the frill on the bottom of the dress is really on trend right now too! I think florals are perfect for summer weddings! If you are not brave enough to pull off the bright orange then a pastel floral pattern will work just as well!

I really like nude accessories right now and with the dress i've picked being very bright I think any more colour would be to much! This River Island Bag is perfect, it's white so super easy to wear! It's a decent size so you can fit your make up, phone and purse in. I would team with these nude heels! Very simple but effective again perfect with the bright dress!

For jewellery and accessories again I would keep it simple, I think rose gold would be perfect for that bronzed summer vibe! Just some tiny hoops/ stud earrings and a pretty bracelet is all you need.

I'm really feeling a bronzed goddess vibe so for make up keep it natural, use the Nip + Fab highlight palette. The middle bronzer is perfect and creates a gorgeous summer glow! The middle highlighter is gorgeous and leaves your skin glowy and fresh! I think the Urban Decay Heat palette would be perfect to create a bronzed smokey look to finish off the whole look!

First up for him you need to get your suit sorted first, Suitsmen have a huge range of suits perfect for any occasion, including a range of mens machine washable suits. This suit would be perfect for everyday or a wedding. It's good to go with something simple that you can wear again and again. You can accessorize using a tie and matching handkerchief. Why not match your partner and add the colour of her dress to your tie?

For men shoes are a big deal, again you want to keep them simple. Go for something sturdy and good quality that you can wear again. These shoes are really on trend but look like they are of a good quality. They look smart perfect for any occasion, especially a summer wedding.

Accessorize your look with cuff-links, waist coats and a fancy watch!

Are you going to a wedding this summer? What will you be wearing? Got any tips for those summer wedding guests?

I was so excited to receive these goodies in the post last week! Rimmel have released their new make-up range to get you Insta-ready! You will have no problem getting the perfect selfie now!

There's so many different products in the new range, contour sticks, setting powder, concealer palettes and much more. I thought i'd go through a few of the new products and introduce you to the new range. I have only used a couple of bits so far so will review them in a few weeks once i've given them all a go!

I have been loving the #Insta Fix & Matte powder, it works really well on my skin. I've been using it to set and mattify my foundation. It isn't cakey as it's a translucent powder. You can build it up easily and I don't need to retouch through the day.

I haven't tried the Contour sticks yet but I did swatch the light shade and it's a lovely warm toned shade and gorgeous highlight. They are very creamy and easy to blend out! Very excited to try.

I'm so excited to try the Fix & Go fixing spray as i've only ever used the Urban Decay All Nighter spray. This is a 2 in 1 primer and fixing spray which sounds so good! At £6.99 this is a bargain!! I hope its good! The packaging is fab and it's a decent size bottle.

The range also includes the #Insta Flawless skin tint, concealer palettes and a conceal and correct palette. The whole range is really affordable and on 3 for 2 right now at Superdrug so check it out.

BEAUTY: BEAUTY TRENDS FOR SUMMER 2017

With summer fast approaching I thought i'd share some of the latest beauty trends which are set to make an appearance this season. These tips and trends will ensure you are summer ready!
Ellisons, a supplier to the professionals sent over an Ebook full of the latest trends and helpful tips to prepare us for summer so I thought i'd pick out a few of my favourite trends and tips to share as well as some of my own tips and tricks.

Make-Up Looks

Glossed Lips! Last year it was all about the Matte lip but this year glossy lips are making a come-back! I loved the matte lip trend so i'm not sure i'll be embracing the glossed lip this summer.

Smudged Eyeliner! - I didn't realise this was optional during summer! My eyeliner is always melting and sliding off my face!! Use a smokey kohl pencil to create this look!

Dewy Skin- Use cream blushers and highlighters to create a dewy finish. Opt for a satin finish foundation rather than a matte finish for that gorgeous glow.

Skincare trends!

Sheet Masks are trending already this year and are set to be huge! With them available on the high street or at your favourite counters at the department stores they are easy to get hold of. They are so easy to use and you don't need to sit peeling it off! Provide everything your skin needs so no need for expensive spa facials.

Dry Brushing is a technique that can be used all over the body to exfoliate and cleanse the body and leave that fresh glow.

Brows! Microblading is the newest brow trend to hit the beauty world. Microblading achieves a long-lasting more permanent option. Microblading is a form of tattoo artistry where pigment is implanted under the skin for fuller brows. The technician draws on hair like lines for a fuller and realistic finish.

Healthy Hair tips and tricks!

Over washing your hair can lead to striping your hair of it's natural oils leave hair dry. Wash your hair two/ three times a week. I use dry shampoo if my hair is looking a little bit greasy! I've found this makes my hair a lot healthier looking!

Avoid the heat! Try and avoid using heat tools! If like me your hair is just a frizzy mess and you have to use heat tools then here's a couple of ways to reduce the use. I only wash my hair two or three times a week, this minimizes how many times a week I blow dry my hair. If I have time the next day to style my hair I will let my hair dry naturally over night. Just use hair products to minimize the frizz. Put your hair up, sometimes I wear my hair half up and half down and only straighten the bits I leave down.

What are your summer must haves? Will you be giving any of the latest beauty trends a try this summer?

REVIEW: RIMMEL VOLUME SHAKE MASCARA

If you haven't seen this new release from Rimmel where have you been? I've seen this mascara all over social media and i've even seen adverts on TV for it.

I've been using this for about a month now and thought i'd share my experience with it.

This is the Rimmel Volume Shake mascara and its a very new concept for mascara as inside is a patent-pending shaker which refreshes the volumising formula whenever it's needed. So you shake it to keep it fresh.

It's a clump free mascara and creates volume, and due to the shake technology lasts a really long time, so you won't have to throw it out because it's dried up.

I think the shake technology is a really good idea and I hate it when your mascara dries up and you know theres still loads left. I don't feel that this mascara really gives great volume and I think it's because you need an element of clump/dry mascara to get a really good volume. I like long and thick lashes and this is a much more natural lash. I think the texture is a little too watery for me and I would prefer a little bit of clump/thickness to the lash.

I know everyone is different and alot of people love a more natural less clumpy look when it comes to mascara but this just isn't for me. I will continue to use it as I don't think it's that bad but I wouldn't repurchase this.

BEAUTY: NEW! MAKE UP FROM NIP + FAB

Today I thought i'd share this amazing new Launch from Nip + Fab! I've used Nip + Fab products for years and have always really liked the brand. I am forever hearing rave reviews about their incredible skincare range but that's not what I'm sharing with you today.

Today i'm talking about the BRAND NEW make up collection by Nip + Fab!! They have launched a massive collection of make up products including foundation, concealer, correctors, contour palettes, lip products, eyeshadow and much more!

They have kindly sent me a selection of products which I will be reviewing and featuring on my blog in the new few weeks! I just wanted to share the range with you and introduce you to Nip + Fab make up and I know it's going to be great!

I haven't used any of the products yet as I've only just taken these photos but I have swatched a couple of bits and i'm already impressed. I had to swatch the Liquid Lipsticks as the shades they've sent over are gorgeous! They dried quite fast and are a really good consistency. They were a nightmare to remove which is exactly what you want from a Liquid lipstick so i'm impressed with these already. I also gave the colour correctors a swatch and they are such lovely colours, they are easy to blend and again a good consistency, not too thin/ runny.

Overall i'm sooo excited to give the range a try, I will be writing reviews in the next few weeks so keep your eyes peeled for that but in the mean time head over to the Nip+Fab website to check out
the whole make up range and let me know what your favourite things are!

REVIEW: PEBBLE GREY VANITY MIRROR

I've been using the Pebble Grey Elko Vanity Mirror for a few months now and never got round to featuring it on my blog. I thought i'd share my thoughts with you.

Pebble Grey stock a huge selection of different Bathroom mirrors in all shapes and sizes. They have loads of illuminated mirrors to choose from as well as a selection of Towel Rails, Cabinets and other bathroom accessories. The mirrors are really affordable and a really good finish and quality. They have so many different styles so there's something for everyone and any bathroom.

I've already got a small mirror and a big mirror in my bathroom so I have popped my Pebble Grey Vanity Mirror on my dressing table. It plugs right into the mains so is super easy to use. The light is really bright and perfect for those dark winter mornings. The mirror is double sided with a magnifying mirror and moves up and down so you can position it where you like. Its not too heavy so really easy to move around and its great for checking the back of your hair.

I think it makes doing my make up so much easier, I use it every single day and even if I don't need the light I like have it close to me when i'm doing my make up. As you can see when the light is on you get a really good light on your face making applying make up so easy, you can see if you've missed any patches etc.

The Elko Vanity mirror is no longer on the Pebble Grey site but they have just release the Lima Led Magnifying Vanity Mirror which is exactly the same however you can affix it straight to the wall.
