BEAUTY: HOW TO FAKE IT THIS SUMMER WITH RIMMEL

The summer holidays are nearly over, just a few more weeks left and Autumn will be back. I'm quite excited for summer to be over as next month is my birthday, I will be turning 25 and I am also having my baby shower next month which is super exciting! Our little bubba is due end of October/ first week of November which I'm really excited about so i've been counting down the days of summer.

My favourite thing about summer is looking sunkissed, I love going crazy with the bronzer and highlighter to create that holiday glow! Today's post is all about how to fake that summer glow using some fab products from Rimmel.

If you are not going on holiday then you probably won't get a sunkissed holiday glow unless you are going to fake it as the weather in the UK right now is all over the place. Here's a few tips and products you can use to achieve a gorgeous glow.

The Rimmel Radiance shimmer brick is a really good all round product and such a bargain at just £5.99* The multi-tonal bronzing powder creates a healthy glow, it shimmers so is perfect for a sunkissed summery glow. I love that you can use a big powder brush and sweep all over for a gorgeous bronzed look or use a smaller brush and use it as a contour, using the bronzer to create the glow and highlighter to set the look and to amplify the cheeks.

The Rimmel Insta Duo Contour stick* is another one of my favourites this summer, it's super easy to use and makes contouring so simple. One end is contour and the other highlight so you can define and enhance your facial features. Really easy to blend out and comes in 3 shade options.

The Rimmel London Sculpting palette by Kate* is another must have this summer. This 3 in 1 kit makes that subtle summer glow super easy to achieve. Step 1 is highlight, use this to catch the light on your cheek bones, brow bones and down the bridge of your nose Step 2 is contour, the darker shade is used to define and recede areas that you don't want to emphasise like the jaw line, hair line and finally step 3 is the shimmer powder blush which adds that pop of colour. Leaving you looking fresh and healthy.

Finally for that all over glow grab yourself a tube of Sun Shimmer instant tan,* I haven't tried this yet as i'm not very good at applying tan, and honestly i'm just too lazy but the reviews on this one are really good, I like that it's a matte finish and it's water resistant so perfect for the warmer days.

What are your must haves for that summer glow? How do you create a sunkissed look? Have you tried any of these Rimmel products?

LIFESTYLE: GETTING THE GARDEN SUMMER READY!

I'm so excited for summer to be here! I love chilling in the garden with a cold drink (this year it will be a soft drink instead of a cider) and an ice cream!
I love relaxing outside, having a BBQ with family.

Today's post is all about getting your garden summer ready! You don't need to spend a lot of money to get your garden looking fab this summer!

First up get yourself some decent seating! How gorgeous is this Rattan Daybed it looks so cosy! It's from Fishpools.co.uk and they have a huge range of garden and home furniture to choose from so they have something for every garden.

If you don't fancy a daybed then you could opt for a dining set or something more comfortable like this sofa set from Asda!

As I said I love having family BBQ's, you don't need to invest hundreds in a big fancy BBQ, you can get them from places like Asda and Argos without spending hundreds! You could even opt for a few disposable BBQ's they are just a couple of quid!

I like to sunbathe in the garden so we have a couple of sun loungers that we get out of the garage in the summer! I love this wooden one from Argos.

The last thing your garden needs for the summer is some accessories! Cushion and throws are not very expensive but can make a garden feel really cosy and more luxurious! These cushions are also from Fishpools. Stock up on plastic tumblers and plates to make eating outside safer, you don't want broken glass everywhere. These cool tumblers are from B&M bargains as is the plates set and the ice bucket.

I hope your all as excited as I am for the summer! Why don't you spend your weekend getting the garden looking tidy and invite some friends over for a BBQ?

REVIEW : FIRMOO SUNGLASSES

I've been browsing the Firmoo site for a while, they do lots of work with bloggers so it's one of those companies I heard alot about. They have a huge range of prescription glasses and sunglasses in different styles, colours and prices.

I picked this tortoise coloured pair of sunglasses. I'm off on holiday in a few weeks so these are perfect. They are a really nice current shape and colour and are very fashionable. They are very sturdy and good quality.

I'm very happy with these glasses and I would order from Firmoo again, at £39 they are abit steap for sunglasses but you are paying for the quality and if you require prescription sunglasses they are actually a great value for money.

FOOD REVIEW: SOUTHERN COMFORT SUMMER COCKTAILS

Southern Comfort * // Pure Orange Juice // Lemonade // Clementine or orange

With it being lovely and sunny today I wish I could of spent all day in the garden with a drink in my hand however I spent it at work boo! So when I got home I thought I would treat myself to a cocktail and decided to have a little browse on the southern comfort website to find some great recipes. You can check it out here and even add your own http://www.southerncomfort.com/drink-yourself-uk

I love a nice light fruity cocktail so decided to keep it simple. I poured the Southern Comfort over ice first, a fairly decent measure... followed by orange juice which I filled up to the half way mark and then filled the glass with lemonade. I finished with some clementine garnish as thats all I had in however you could use orange or lemon for a more citrus taste.

This cocktail is a really lovely fresh summery drink. It's sweet and light which is what I like in a cocktail, you can play around and use different ingredients maybe you would prefer it still so you wouldn't use the lemonade or you could use pinapple or mango juice if you prefer. There's so many different cocktails you can create using Southern Comfort which is why the website is great! You can easily find loads and loads of different recipes and they are really easy to follow and give you some great tips !

If you do make your own cocktails use the #whateverscomfortable hashtag on twitter !
