BEAUTY: WHATS NEW THIS SUMMER FROM LANCOME

I was invited along to the Lancome counter in Selfridges Birmingham last week for a blogger event however I was unable to make it. I was able to head over to the counter on Friday and was lucky enough to find out about the latest releases from Lancome so I thought i'd share a few bits with you!!

The most exciting launch has to be the Lancome Grandiose Liner which is out tomorrow! With it's hinged handle which you can bend to a 35` angle which is designed to make applying your liner much easier. The handle is designed to create a swift steady line and makes it easier to get close to the lash line. The packaging is classic Lancome, very classy and expensive and the bendable handle is impressive. The liner is very long lasting and is a great formula making it easy to apply and you get a great consistency and colour in just one sweep. The liner also comes in a gorgeous Cobalt Blue which is gorgeous!

As I mentioned above it's out tomorrow and will retail at £23 I think if you really struggle at applying liquid eyeliner then this is worth a go, I think the handle is such a brilliant idea!!

My next favourite release from Lancome is the Energie De Vie range which is all about giving your skin that awake, refreshed appearance. The range is inspired by Korean Beauty Technology, it's such a gorgeous lightweight formula that dries into skin so quickly and leaves the skin soft and ready to apply make up. It's so good if your rushing in the morning, it dries in so fast but leaves your skin feeling energized, healthier and hydrated. The range consists of a moisturiser, mask and the Pearly Wake Up Lotion.

Another exciting new product from Lancome has to be the Genifique Sheet Mask, each mask is enriched with Lancomes best selling serum technology. Genifique gives you glowing and younger looking skin. Just one use will leave your skin feeling fresher, smoother and radiant. The mask adheres gently to the contours like a second skin. Sheet masks are very popular right now in a UK so these are right up my street.

I got to have a little play with a Clarisonic on the Lancome counter aswell as they have collaborated and are being reccommended by Lancome Experts. The Clarisonic cleanses 6x better than hands alone. It cleans so well, and it's so gentle! I always had visions of it being really harsh on the skin.

Don't miss out on the latest releases from Lancome, head on over to the Lancome counter at Selfridges Birmingham and check them out. The Grandiose Liner is out tomorrow which is very exciting.

A little birdy tells me that the Lancome Summer Sale also starts tomorrow too so what better reason to go on over to the counter and check out some of their fab sale offers!

Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Waterproof

Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Waterproof : Lancome  - £21.00

I've always been a massive fan of Lancome so I was actually so excited to try out this mascara. I've always used Benefit's they're real as I have got them free in magazines or I was given one at an event, as a mascara They're real is fab and I would buy it however now i've tried Lancome I think I would prefer to spend my money on Hypnose Doll Eyes. It's a really lovely formula and it makes my lashes appear really long. I use another mascara over the top to add abit of volume as I like my lashes to be really thick.  I find it comes off really easily without much effort unlike They're real that is very stubborn. I like the packaging of Lancome it's simplistic but classy. The silver box is really appealing and when you see it in the shop it looks special. I'm really impressed with Lancome's mascara and I would like to try some of their other mascara's. I think £21.00 is really reasonable for such a good quality product compared to similar brands that charge alot more for their mascaras.

REVIEW: Lancome Gloss In Love

I was so happy when this popped through my letter box, I immediately put it on (i was in my pj's still) and was in love!

I had already had a little play with this at the Lancome counter and knew they were great. First of all doesn't it look amazing. This isn't no ordinary lipgloss, this is posh ! The packaging is all silver/chrome and shiny so it looks expensive. The lid clicks on which I think is a nice touch and the packaging just feels really nice.

The product is a pink gloss, its not really pink its rather neutral and theres glitter and shimmer but its not overpowering. You can't actually feel any texture if like me your not a fan of over glittery lips.

The product is nice a shiny and isn't sticky at all! It's overall a really nice lipgloss and its very versatile so can be used for day or night. I've even used this on top of a lipstick for that added shine so it's worth the money.

Lancome is a brand that I used to associate with old ladies but not since they launched this amazing colour range !

REVIEW | Lancome Galateis Douceur Cleansing Milk

I got this 50ml sample in the Jenny Packham free gift that Gemma gave me and It's all gone :( I've been using it loads. I love it! I like to use this as a first cleanse and then I follow with another cleanser for a deeper clean. I find that this takes of my make up really easily and then makes my 2nd cleanse easier.

The cleansing milk is a creamy milk texture and isn't too runny or too thick so it rubs into the skin quickly and easily and removes all my make up.  This is great for oily/combination skin so it leaves my skin moisturised and smooth.

Its gentle and can be used on the eyes and it removes even stubborn mascara.

I like the design of the bottle and think the product comes out easily enough.

I have used all of this sample size and I used it nearly every day either once or twice for about the last week or two. I think the 200ml bottle would last about 4 - 5 weeks and if you think about the cost that works out to about £4.50 a week which isn't too bad.

This is the newest range from Lancome and I know you guys will love it ! Its a range of lip glosses and lipsticks. It's very pink!! The quality of these products is amazing!

The pigments in these lipsticks are amazing and they apply with ease to product some amazing colours. The lipsticks are very moist and hydrating.

The lip glosses are very nice and a more elegant twist to the juicy tubes. The packaging is fab! Theres a little button for you to press to open the lipgloss and then it clicks shut. This is designed to prevent any accidents in your make up bag or handbags. And we all know we love it when our products make a very satisfying 'click ' noise.

The lipsticks also click ;) and they are in this gorgeous silver matte packaging which I love because its so luxurious and pretty. And then you open the lid to a gorgeous bright pink !
