[AD GIFTED] FATHERS DAY GIFT IDEAS FROM MOONPIG

Fathers day is on the 21st June 2020

With Fathers Day just around the corner I thought i'd share a few of my favourite picks from Moonpig as they have a really good range of gifts right now. They have a really good selection of cards too so you can buy your gift and card from the same place and even have it delivered straight to your dad in time for the big day without getting out of bed! This is great during the strange times, the shops are a little crazy right now so at least by shopping online with Moonpig it reduces the amount of time you need to spend at the shops.

I picked out a few bits and got this super cute card from Amelia for Clint, I love that you can get personalised cards on Moonpig, they are just so thoughtful.

The first gift I picked out was this really cool Beer Hawk Cheers Dad gift set which is the perfect gift for any beer drinking Dad. Clint is really into his craft beers and IPA's at the moment and we haven't tried any from Beer Hawk so this was perfect chance to give them a try. This gift set includes a selection of beers and comes with a glass and some snacks. This set was £25 but they have a few different beer gift sets depending on your budget.

Next I picked out this 100 Movies scratch off poster as Clint is a really big film fan and has watched SOOO many films so I thought this would be really fun for him to go through and scratch off any films he's watched and then we can try watching the ones that are left.

Finally I picked out this cool Jelly Bean Bean boozled game as he loves Jelly Beans and this sounded fun. I though it was a nice little gift idea.

Moonpig have a really good selection of cards and gifts that are perfect for Fathers Day. They have a great selection so there's something for every Dad. They even have experience days so why not treat your dad to a fab day out when everything is back to normal! It would be so nice for him to have something to look forward to. What are you going to pick out for you Dad this Fathers Day?

How beautiful is my new necklace? I just had to share it with you guys as I love it so much!!

It's this gorgeous Rose Gold tone, and you can fully personalise it so you can make it super special and personal.

It comes in a lovely gift box so would make a lovely present for someone, you can even have it gift wrapped so it's ready to go!

Sassy bloom gifts have loads of different necklaces so check them out as there is something for everyone. They have some fab gifts for bridesmaids, friends, mum's and a lot of them you can personalise to make it super special and thoughtful.

The Rose Gold disk necklace is only £20 which I think is really reasonable, it's such a nice size. Not to big or small. The chain is a good length and the engraving is lovely. It comes in Silver too, if your not a fan of the Rose Gold.

If you are after some lovely gift ideas be sure to browse the Sassy Bloom Gifts website as they have some really lovely gifts to choose from and they are all very reasonably priced. They have some great delivery options too if you need something fast!

BABY: BABY SHOWER/ NEW BABY GIFT IDEAS

I was talking to my sister the other day about useful gifts. Amelia is such a lucky baby and we are very lucky to have such wonderful people around us who wanted to give us and Amelia gifts. I had a baby shower so was gifted alot of products at that and then we received more gifts when she was born and then even more for Christmas.

I thought i'd share a few nice gift ideas and some useful gifts. Are you someone who usually buys a blanket or a comforter or teddy? Amelia has so many blankets and even more soft toys, it just seems a waste because there are some that she will never play with or use the same with the blankets, she just has so many and we use them alot but we tend to have our favourites that we stick to.

If you want to buy a soft cuddly toy why not opt for a personalised teddy like this bunny from My1stYears, it's abit more personal and will be a lovely keepsake.

These little Enamel Pins from Old English Company are a lovely gift idea for an expecting or new mum. They will look fab on a changing bag or mum can pop them on her favourite jacket! Head over to the Old English Company website to enter their competition to win a set of Enamel Pins including this 'The no sleep gang' one pictured above.

One of my friends bought us some weaning bits for Christmas and it was such a good gift. Weaning just kind of springs up on you and all of a sudden you need to buy bowls, spoons, cups, highchairs, bibs etc and it becomes quite over-whelming and expensive. We have these munchkin spoons and they are really good. We picked up a few bits from Boots, mostly Nuby, Munchkin and Boots own brand bits. They actually have their baby event on right now so you can save yourself some money.

The Lamaze toys are amazing, Amelia loves them. She has a couple of things and my sister has the peacock and Amelia loves that too! I'm going to buy her one on payday. They are really bright and colourful and have lots of sensory bits for baby to play with. I spotted a few of the Lamaze toys on 2 for £15 over on Argos which is a bargain as they usually retail for around £11+ each. Clint's mom actually bought Amelia a Lamaze toy for Christmas and she loves it! We didn't open it right away and it was lovely having it in her room and when I thought she was ready and would appreciate it I got it out of the box and didn't have to worry about popping to the shop or spending money on toys.

We were bought lots and lots of bubble bath, shampoo and baby lotions etc... alot of it was Johnsons and I know there's lots of controversy about Johnsons not being great for baby as it can be drying. I have really sensitive skin so there was a good chance Amelia would too, she actually has eczema so I ended up giving so so much Johnsons stuff away, we were actually told by the HV not to use it on Amelia. I was gifted some bits from Burts Bee's and Child's Farm and i'd really recommended buying something from one of these brands if you wanted to buy skincare bits as a gift.

I'm loving this Print from Old English Company, they have lots of other prints to choose from, it's another nice keepsake gift to receive. The parents can pop them up in the nursery and they will be there for a good few years. It's a nice gift and makes the nursery look more finished and personal.

I hope you liked my gift ideas. I think they would make lovely gifts for a baby shower or to celebrate the arrival of a new baby. You don't need to spend loads of money, all of these gifts are very affordable. I don't want to sound unappreciative but we got so so many useless gifts and I feel bad that people wasted money. I have already donated things that we haven't used so that less fortunate people can benefit from these things.

CHRISTMAS: GIFT IDEAS FOR FOOD LOVERS

I thought i'd put together a little food lovers gift guide as I have a few products that didn't really fit into any of my other gift guide categories and they seemed to fit the foodie category.

First up, if you saw yesterdays post you will have seen I featured a Luxury hamper from Prestige Hampers. Today i'm including this smaller hamper, this is a more affordable option and it contains lots of festive goodies. The Seasonal Treats Box retails at £22.99 and is full of lots of lovely brands and products.

You get a range of products including jams, fudge, popcorn, tea and more...

It comes in this really nice box which would be easy to wrap or you can have it delivered to the recipient in time for Christmas.

As I mentioned in yesterdays post I think hampers are a great gift idea for those people that we struggle to buy gifts for. They look impressive and are usually full of lovely treats that most of us would be happy to recieve.

Next is this cute condiments pot from Helen Russel creations, it's such a cute little pot and would make a lovely gift for Christmas for any food lover ( or penguin lover) I think this would make the perfect mint sauce pot or you could use it for another condiment on Christmas Day. I will use this all year round as I love it and think it's just so cute. Helen has lots of other lovely products including stationary, cards and other Christmas products so be sure to have a look.

Finally I thought this was such an unusual product perfect for any Prosecco lover ( we all know one) With this you can turn water into Prosecco, I think this is really fun and a lovely gift idea instead of just buying someone a bottle of fizz they can actually make their own. You can buy this from findmeagift.com and it's actually on offer right now.

A few more food gifts that I think would make nice gifts are, a voucher- getting someone a voucher for meal out or a night at the cinema can mean alot to some people. Maybe they are saving to buy a house or don't really have time to think about going for a meal. This gives people an excuse to put a date in their diary and go out without spending any money.
Another idea is a ticket to The Good Food Show or a similar event a like market etc. Again it gets people out to events that they might not have gone to before and if they love food they will be thrilled to attend a foodie event.
Experience days, there's lots of foodie experience days out there. You can go wine tasting or go on a course and learn how to cook. You will be surprised at how many food and drink experiences there are.

I hope my gift ideas for food lovers has helped? What kind of gifts would you buy for the food lover in your life?

CHRISTMAS: PRESTIGE HAMPERS

I have kindly been sent this amazing hamper from Prestige Hampers to feature on my blog. I don't know what it is about hampers but I associate them with Christmas, I don't really get hampers any other time of year. I usually get a hamper from work and Clint has actually got a hamper this year too nothing like this one from Prestige Hampers though.

This is the Happy Christmas Basket it's a really decent size and packed full of goodies. They basket is lovely, it's a great quality and you could use it again and again. The handle makes it perfect for picnics or you could use it around the house for decoration, I actually use a basket like this to store things in my bathroom like bath bombs and shower gels so it looks tidy.

The basket is full of lots of amazing brands and products. There is a really good selection of products and variety. This is a non-alcoholic hamper so it's perfect for everyone. I love the little lemonade and ginger beer, the bottles are really cute.

Inside theres, tea, coffee, biscuits, chocolates, cake, Christmas pudding, and popcorn! It's just jam packed with lots of amazing treats.

I think hampers are a great gift for employers to give to their employees because you can't really go wrong with a lovely hamper. I also this would be a lovely gift for my Grandparents as I usually struggle with what to get them but I know they would eat everything in here so it would make a great gift. I think hampers are a nice gift idea and great if you struggle to buy for someone. This one looks very luxiourous aswell because of the lovely basket.

There's still time to order before Christmas so head over to Prestige Hampers to check them out, they have a range of different hampers and other products to choose from and they vary in price so go on over and have a look.

CHRISTMAS: GIFT GUIDE FOR HIM

I know some people find it really hard to shop for the men in their lives. I have a few men to shmen op for over Christmas, Clint, my dad, his dad and my grandad. I agree that men are difficult to shop for and I don't know if it's just the men in my life but they always say they don't need anything so it's super hard to shop for them. I tend to play it safe and stick to smellies but i've got a few other gift ideas below to help you shop for the men in your life.

As I mentioned above I tend to go for smellies, you can't really go wrong as men always need shower gels and aftershaves. This Crabtree and Evelyn Moroccan Myrrh Cologne is a really lovely scent, I really like the packaging, the Orange really stands out. There is a whole Moroccan Myrrh range so check that out too for other products like soap, shave cream and body wash.

Another brand that does some really good smellies and other mens grooming products is Bluebeards Revenge. They have a huge selection of products such as aftershaves, shaving products and haircare products. Their products smell amazing and Clint has actually been a fan of theirs for a few years now. He really likes their Matt Clay hair product. This gift set is a great value for money as it contains a 100ml size bottle of the Bluebeards Revenge Eau de toilette and a 150ml size of the shower gel. They come in this lovely gift box so would make a lovely gift.

Chemist.co.uk have actually put together some really great gift sets perfect for Christmas, they have a set for her, for him and one for the kids. There are some really great products in the set for him including a Dove For Men Moisturiser  and face wash. A Rock Face Body spray,  moisturiser  and shower wash  aswell as a Loreal Men Expert Shower Gel. It's a great set with lots of fab brands and products inside. You can also shop the products individually and the website also stock lots more brands and products at really good prices.

If you don't want to buy grooming or skincare products for the men in your life then here's a few other gift ideas that might help. Clint has quite a big DVD collection and he usually asks for some DVD's for Christmas. I knew he would want the new Fast and Furious film so i've picked that up for him, we've actually bought the other DVD Black Sails for his Dad as he likes DVD's too! The new Game of Thrones season is out this week too, I think that would be a good gift for those Thrones fans out there! I think dvd's are quite affordable so even if your on a tight budget this is a good option. If you don't really know what DVD to get someone but you know they would appreciate a DVD or CD you could get them a voucher for somewhere like HMV.

This leather belt is from Dobell, I really like brown leather belts and think they look really smart. It's always handy to have a belt and Clint's belts are all looking a little worse for wear so I thought i'd grab him a new one. I like the simple style of this belt and think it would go with most of his clothes. Dobell also stock black belts so if you prefer a black belt then check them out. The belt is really good quality and a good price. Sometimes its good to buy people the things they need, I always tend to grab Clint some new socks, underwear and this year a nice new belt.

A few other gift ideas for him include, a shaver - I bought my dad a shaver last year I think, I got him a dry or wet shaver and he uses it all the time.
Gadgets! Men love gadgets, my dad asks for a drone nearly every year! I always get him one but he seems to crash or lose them.
Clothing- My dad and Clint always need new clothes, why not get them a nice new pair of jeans like these ones from River Island.  I like the straight leg style and I think that dark navy jeans always look smart. I always buy Clint and my dad socks because you can't go wrong with some new socks.
Personalised gifts - It's Clints first Christmas as a daddy, I really want to get him a frame or a keyring that says daddy
How about some new car cleaning products, The Simoniz car cleaning gift kit with wireless mouse is a great gift idea for those car lovers out there.

What do you get the men in your life for Christmas? Have you got any good gift ideas? Have you done your Christmas shopping already, I have loads to buy!

CHRISTMAS: GIFT IDEAS FOR BABIES

It's Amelia's first Christmas and although we won't be buying her any presents ( ok we might have bought her this cute penguin dressing gown but thats it! ) She is only 3 weeks old and she got alot of new clothes and gifts when she was born so she doesn't really need anything. Clint's mom has also gone crazy and bought her loads so she really doesn't need anything else. I thought it would be nice to put together a little gift guide of some products you could buy for your baby or maybe one of your friends has recently had a baby and you need some inspiration.

First up is this cuteeee penguin dressing gown from My 1st Years, as I mentioned above we've actually bought this for Amelia because I love penguins, it's on offer right now aswell. You can have it personalised so it would make a really lovely gift, if you don't fancy the penguin they also do standard personalised dressing gown or they also have some other festive designs.

I think a personalised bauble is a lovely gift idea, this gorgeous glass bauble is from Studio Seed via Notonthehighstreet.com. It's a nice keepsake that will get to go on the Christmas Tree year after year and then when their older they might even hang it on their own tree.

I have featured this mat from Mamashack before. I've actually bought one for Amelia already and we love it. We've had so many compliments on it and they have lots of other patterns. They also sell lots of other personalised products so make sure you head on over and have a look.

I always love buying clothes for little ones, River Island have lots of gorgeous clothes to choose from. How cute is this dress, I love the print and think the design is really nice. I think i'm going to get this for Amelia for when shes a little bit bigger. This hat is also from River Island, all of Amelia's hats are still too big for her little head. I love the pink pom pom and eyelash design, it's so cute.

These Childs Farm gift sets would make a lovely gift for a new baby, they contain lots of goodies perfect for a newborn. It's a good way to try some new products. Childs Farm has been developed especially for baby's delicate skin, even sensitive and eczema prone skin.

I have bought Amelia some books, I picked up some off the works website, they have an offer where you can get 10 books for £10 so I think they would be lovely gifts for Christmas. This personalised book is from Letterfest via Notonthehighstreet.com again this is a lovely gift and would make a keepsake.

CHRISTMAS: PICK THE PERFECT FRAGRANCE THIS CHRISTMAS

It's December and with Christmas around the corner it's time to get organised and go shopping for those Christmas gifts. I haven't bought any presents yet as I have just had a baby so the last few weeks have just flown by and I haven't had chance to even think about Christmas. I will hopefully be able to order most of my shopping online and then will pop to the shops over the next week or so and get any other bits. I don't have many people to buy for and i'm sure our friends and family will be understanding that I haven't gone mad this year.

I love getting perfume for Christmas and I usually buy perfume for a few of our family members. My mom always asks for perfume and I always try and buy her something different. She tends to stick to the same few perfumes so I like getting her something new to try. It's really easy to shop for perfume on Fragrance Direct as they have so many different brands at really affordable prices. They also have really good descriptions of the fragrance so you can decide if it sounds like a scent you would like, they also have lots of reviews so you can see what other customers think.

I picked out this Marc Jacobs scent, it's described as a woody, sexy scent. It's gorgeous, the scent is really warm and sweet. It is a sexy scent and I'm so happy with it. I've had so many compliments on this perfume too. The bottle is gorgeous, I love the dark greeny/blue shade of the bottle and the gold detailing, this looks amazing on my dressing table.

I also picked out this Joop WOW fragrance, i've actually picked this out for my dad as he always needs new aftershave. I am a fan of the original Joop fragrance so I thought i'd see what the WOW fragrance is like. It is a very masculine scent, the combination of bergamot, cardamom and violet create a warm fragrance that is perfect for this season. It's not overpowering so perfect from day to night. I really like the bottle, it's simple but sleek.

Head on over to the Fragrance Direct site to check out all of the amazing fragrances they have to offer perfect to gift this Christmas. They have so much choice and with free delivery and a gift wrapping service it makes gift giving so easy. Do you have any fragrances on your wish list this Christmas? What is your favourite perfume or aftershave and what kind of scents do you usually go for?

PREGNANCY: BABY SHOWER GIFT IDEAS

My baby shower is next month so I thought i'd share a few baby shower gift ideas. I tried to think of a few things that we still need to get or things that would be useful to be gifted at our baby shower.

I think everyone tends to go for clothing as buying baby clothes is so addictive and you can't really go wrong. I have included this pack of 3 sleepsuits from Next. I love the baby clothes from Next, they are so soft and very affordable and they have some really on trend pieces.

We have been looking at Ollie the Owl since it came out a few months ago! I think it's such a good product that any parent would be happy to recieve for their newborn. Ollie the Owl is a light and sound sleep aid. With a built in cry sensor it's such a good gift idea for any expectant parent. It's suitable from birth and you can use on a cot, pushchair or carseat using the Velcro attachment.

Also from the lovely people at The Gro Company are grobags, I think alot more parents are using sleeping bags now as they are really safe. They have lots of patterns, prints and togs to choose from.
I know one of my friends is getting us a grobag for my baby shower and I think it's such a good gift idea.

How cute is this Emma Bridgewater mug, i've wanted one for ages but I have so many mugs, i'd love someone to get me the Mummy one, it's so cute. They also do personalised ones, and I think i'll have to buy bubba one with her name on as a little keepsake.

Finally, this changing mat is so gorgeous, it's from a brand called Mama Shack. I'm going to order it on payday as I love it and i'm gonna have it personalised with bubbas name, i'm super excited. It would be a lovely baby shower present. You don't have to have the babys name you can have it personalised with a quote or even the surname if you are keeping the name a secret or haven't picked one yet.

There's so much you could buy, don't just go from clothing as everyone buys clothes. Ask the momma if there's anything they need, incase they haven't bought something and you can get that for them, when your having a baby you have lots of random stuff you need to buy, i'm getting my sister her sterilizer as we're both having girls and she will more than likely get lots of clothes once my baby has grown out of them. You can get lots of personal gifts now too online like prints and blankets etc.

FATHERS DAY GIFT IDEAS WITH FRAGRANCE DIRECT

It's June!! Father's Day is just around the corner on Sunday 18th June! I struggle to buy gifts for my dad because he literally has everything. I think you can't go wrong with aftershave. My dad wears it every single day so he always needs it. Fragrance Direct have so many different fragrances to pick from perfect for Father Day. They have put together a fun quiz to help you pick the right fragrance for your dad! You can see all of the amazing products avaliable for fathers day here at
and check out the quiz to find out which fragrance is right for your dad.

I have picked out just a few fragrances that Fragrance Direct have to offer and I thought i'd share them with you. First up I picked out Davidoff Cool Water, this is one of Clint's absolute favourite scents. It's a really cool, sexy smell! It's a refreshing scent so perfect for summer. It smells so good and I always get Clint a bottle for Christmas. I think this would be a fragrance my dad would really like as it's quite sharp and distinctive

Next up I picked out BOSS The Scent, i've never smelled this before but after filling out the quiz it came out as a good fragrance for The Rustic Gent so I thought i'd see what Clint thought of it. It's a woody scent. It's a seductive smell and crafted to provoke the senses. I really like it and I think my Dad will like this one.

I also picked out another Hugo Boss scent because I've never really bought BOSS fragrances before but I really like the packaging of these two fragrances and they sound like they would smell so good. I was really happy with BOSS Tonic because from the description I wasn't too sure, I thought it might be a little too fruity/ herby but I was pleasantly surprised it is a fresher scent but it's still unique and masculine.

I hope you have a few ideas on some fragrances to get your dad this Fathers Day, if your still unsure then head over to the Fragrance Direct website and give their quiz a go and find out the perfect scent for your dad this Fathers Day!
