SUMMER: THOSE HOLIDAY ESSENTIALS

We're finally off on our holiday yay! When you are reading this I will be soaking up the sun with a cold one in my hand.

I thought i'd share a few beauty bits that i've brought along with me.

Hair: I always end up bring too many hair products with me when I go on holiday. First I have these little mini OGX Coconut Milk shampoo and conditioners. These smell incredible and will be so handy! I have packed the Toni and Guy sea salt texurizing spray and the Schwarzkopf texturizing spray. The mini toni and guy one will be handy for in my beach bag so when i'm at the beach or by the pool I can give my hair a little spritz of texture. I've also packed the Lee Stafford Coco Loco Blow and Go which is a really handy creme which you can use in dry hair to defrizz and to tame or use when blow drying to help dry hair faster and reduce fly away hairs.

I've also packed my travel Tangle Teezer, as this is so handy to keep in your beach bag to detangle your hair after you've been for a swim or in the sea

Suncare: I've packed Piz Buin factor 30 as I couldn't find factor 50 which is what I usually get as i'm quite fair skinned and tend to burn easy. I've also packed an Hawaiian Tropic oil to get a better tan, this smells gorgeous. I've packed the Clarins Face suncream as my face is really sensitive and I find this works well at locking in hydration and protecting my skin from the sun.
I've got the Vichy Ideal Soleil oil after sun which is lovely on the skin and i'm so excited to give this a good try.

These Purepotions salves are so handy when your away, you can use them for so many things from sprains to cold sores.

I have packed some carex hand sanitizer which are so handy when your at the beach or going for some food to keep your hand clean and fresh.

My Clarins lip comfort oil is a staple when i'm away, I always bring it to add hydration to my lips as they get really sore and dry when i'm on holiday.

BEAUTY : REVIEW LEE STAFFORD COCO LOCO RANGE

Lee Stafford Coco Loco Range available now at Boots

I have to say i'm a huge Lee Stafford fan, I use the Bleach Blondes range as it's the best at keeping those brassy tones away! I have bleached the ends of my hair so I used to struggle to keep those brassy tones away but not since I started using the Bleach Blondes range, I love the whole bleach blondes collection, the Hot Shotz and correcting conditioning spray are must haves if you find those brassy tones make a come back! Anyway this review is about the Coco Loco range, you can check out my reviews of the Bleach Blondes range here

I found my hair had gone quite dry and damaged, I knew I needed to get some hydration into my hair. The Coco Loco range by Lee Stafford contains Coconut Oil which is a natural nutrient and provides the essential proteins for nourishing and repairing damaged hair. So i've been giving the range a try and I have to say my hair is feeling so so much better.

I love the Shampoo and Conditioner they are so easy to use and smell amazing! I absolutely love Coconut scented products. My hair feels really lovely and clean when I use the shampoo, I tend to rinse and repeat with the shampoo to make sure I get all the dry shampoo and other products out my hair. Then I follow with the conditioner which is really lovely and hydrating.

The Coconut mask is lovely, I like to jump into a hot lush bath with candles and wack a load of this on my hair and just lie there for ages letting the mask get to work on my hair. I only really put it on my ends as this is where my hair is dry and damaged. My hair always feels really soft and shiny after i've used the mask.

The Coconut Spritz is a nice product to use, you can apply it onto towel dried hair to condition and detangle hair which I think works really well. It makes my hair shiny and and smooth and stops it drying so frizzy. You can also spritz this into the hair throughout the day to refresh your hair.

The Blow and Go genius lotion improves your hair in every way possible, your hair will be softer, shinier, sleeker, smoother, stronger and conditioned. You just apply to towel dried hair and style as normal. It makes your hair so much easier to style and locks in that moisture so your hair looks smoother and stronger for longer.

Finally the Coconut Balm, this is just like Coconut Oil, it's a solid product that melts in your hand and you can apply it to the ends of your hair to keep your hair protected and smooth.

The whole range is amazing, if your hair is feeling dull and damaged you need to get your hands on some of these products. Selected Lee Stafford products are on 2 for £10 right now at Boots so take advantage of an amazing offer and give the range ago! They are really afforable products and leave your hair feeling like you've been to the salon.

BEAUTY: MY SKINCARE UPDATE

I've been sticking to some trusty favourites throughout december and january but i've also been using a few new additions. My skins been really bad and dehydrated for the last couple of months so i've been using hydrating skincare to get the moisture into my skin.

I've been using the Rossi rice bran and borage seed oil cleansing oil to cleanse and moisturise the skin. I've been applying it with a cotton pad to get my make up off and using a toner afterwards which works really well. I've been using this more on the night than in the morning because I have an oily t-zone anyway I try not to use to much oil in the morning. It' so gentle and soothes the skin.

I am using the Rossi Cleansing oil along side my long term faithful Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, Clint got me the Pink Pepper and Mint version for Christmas and I love it! It smells so amazing and it's so creamy and soft. I love Cleanse and Polish it's my go to cleanser and leaves my skin feeling so clean.

I've just jumped on the Pixi Glow Tonic bandwagon, what was I waiting for. It's lovely it's gentle but does the job, it leaves my skin glowing and feeling firmer. It also removes any dead skin which leaves the skin looking healthier. I think my skins been feeling grey and dead and this is what I needed to bring that glow back and get rid of all that dead skin.

The Caudalie Premier Cru The Elixr* has been one of my favourites for a little while now. I mentioned it in my winter favourites post. I use this most nights to lock that moisture in before you apply your moisturiser.

And once again i'm raving on about the Vichy Idealia day and night creams. Skin Sleep is a lovely light night cream that is so moisturising and such a lovely cream. The day cream is again lightweight, i'm not keen on really thick creams and it leaves my skin feeling really soft and smooth ready to apply my make up.

REVIEW : Macadamia Natural Oil Flawless

 Flawless - www.macadamiahair.com - £25.75*

I was so excited to try this out! I found out about it at the #VintSetFest blogger meet in Birmingham. Macadamia Oil were there and had loads of fabulous full size products! I was kindly sent this to review so here's what I think.

First of all this product is a cleanser for you hair ! Yes that right a cleanser. When I heard about this product I have to say I was very intrigued. A cleanser for you face is the norm but for your hair.. I've never heard of one.

Flawless will cleanse, condition, refine and perfect your hair so after using this your hair is clean and conditioned.

You emulsify the product in your hands. You only need abit so 1 or 2 pumps depending on how much hair you have, I use two pumps. You apply the product to your hair like you would a mask so making sure you get it all over your hair and leave for 5 minutes and then rinse thoroughly.

What the product does is pulls the dirt out of your hair when you rinse it so you want to concentrate on areas where you use alot of hair products or the roots where you need to clean regularly.

I've been using this along side another shampoo and conditioner because I don't want to use it all up and my hair feels really clean after using this product. It smells amazing and leaves my hair so soft. All the Macadamia oil products have macadamia oil in so you know your hair is going to feel soft and conditioned.

I really love this product, I like how its a foam- like product, It's quite sticky but thats so it stays on the hair. Its in a can so you can't see how much product you have left which I don't really like however the can makes it easy to come out. The other flaw with Flawless is the price it's £25! Ouch thats alot of money! However its a great product and you get 250ml for the price. Macadamia oil don't do a smaller size but then if you compare it to other brands i've featured like the Bumble and bumble shampoo and conditioner they are £18-£20 each where as with this you only need the one can to clean and condition.

You can buy it online at www.macadamiahair.com

REVIEW: trilogy rosehip oil antioxidant+

 trilogy rosehip oil antioxidant+ - £26.50

I won this little beauty in a twitter giveaway hosted by the lovely people at www.pegasuspr.co.uk

Its a face oil thats designed to hydrate and brighten the skin. To improve fine lines and wrinkles and elasticity and firmness.

I've noticed my skin does appear brighter since introducing this into my skincare routine. I like to use this in the evening after cleansing. I have oily/combination skin so I like to cleanse in the morning using a light cream cleanser and the follow with a light moisturiser. I prefer to use oils at night so I use this to moisturise after cleansing. The product does dry into the skin and leaves the skin feeling smooth and soft. I do feel abit greasy so this is another reason I wouldn't use the product in the day but for me it's a great product to use before bed. My skin does feel more hydrated when I use this in my routine and I've noticed my skin appear more brighter.

I don't really have many fine lines or wrinkles because I am only 20 but I like the idea of preventing any fine lines or wrinkles from appearing so this again is a good aspect of this product. I think my face has been looking firmer recently which I love!

Overall I do like this product, because its an oil and you get the squeeze applicator you don't use alot of product however I still think that £26.50 is rather expensive but you are paying for a product that is 100% natural and organic and it contains certified rosehip oil to repair skin.
