Worth The Hype ?

Effaclar Duo £13 Boots *

Along with many many bloggers I jumped on the Effaclar Duo Bandwagon! Now I know some bloggers swear by this product so it may just be my skintype but is this worth the hype ? NO!

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo is a Anti-imperfections corrector and it states to purify pores, make skin clearer and smoother and imperfections to look reduced.

I have to say I was very disappointed with this product because it did non of the above ! In fact it did nothing! It was a average moisturiser if that! I used it daily for two weeks and I didn't break out which was good because apparently it made alot of people breakout but not me it just did nothing!

I didn't notice my skin becoming clearer or any imperfections appearing reduced ? my skin was just the same with my regular hormonal chin break outs my oily t-zone and pores around my nose and forehead. The product does state that its Hypo-allergenic and tested on sensitive skin meaning it would be tested on all skin types, I would consider my self to have skin thats prone to imperfections and and blocked pores and this did nothing.

I continued to use it as a base but even this wasn't good my face would go shiny and it didn't impress me at all. I wouldn't purchase this again but it was one of those things I had to buy to get out of my system and I'm glad I did otherwise i'd still be wondering if it was worth the hype and now I know it wasn't

I know some of you will be thinking what is she on? Its amazing but as I said it must me my skin type just wasn't effective. I notice no difference to my skin and since the product claims to make such dramatic changes I thought this post was necessary to let you know how I got on with the product.
you never know it might be the ideal product for you but its not for me :) Let me know how you got on with Effaclar Duo?

My skin sounds quite similar to yours, I've been thinking about trying this but I'm going to look into it a bit more now! Thanks for the review!
