GRAND CENTRAL BIRMINGHAM LAUNCH WITH T H BAKER

If you haven't heard about Grand Central opening in Birmingham yet, where have you been? A couple of weeks ago Grand Central opened in Birmingham. There is some amazing brands and stores that have taken over the old New Street Station.

I'm so excited about the Cath Kidston store, another Mac store and John Lewis. It's exactly what Birmingham needs. Grand Central is so hustle and bustle its great for the City. There's some really amazing restaurants aswell!

I was a little bit crazy but headed into Birmingham for the Opening night of Grand Central. It was really busy but I think the day had been worse. I headed to T.H Baker for their launch and had such an amazing night.

T.H Baker is such a great addition for Birmingham. They have some amazing brands and stock some great designer brands including Links, Swarovski, DKNY and Nomination.

I had a great night chatting to other bloggers at the event and had a great catch up, T.H Baker put on a fab night!

Check out the T.H Baker website here, the Grand Central station is located right by the escalators which is a great spot opposite the New John Lewis store.

We were also gifted a lovely gift bag full of goodies which I will be featuring and reviewing on the blog soon.

REVIEW : CHARMED IVY

I ordered a few bits from Charmed Ivy last week and just wanted to share my little order with you guys. Charmed Ivy is a lovely online jewellery shop . They stock the most gorgeous rings, necklaces anklets and more...

I thought id pick just a few pieces for my first order, i'm loving dream catchers right now so this necklace is perfect. I love the turquoise detailing as well, and the feather is gorgeous. It's a long chain which is lovely. I think this would look fab stacked up with other necklaces.

I also got this cute anklet, I really wanted one for my holiday but couldn't find what I was after. This one from Charmed Ivy is perfect. It's just what I wanted. I love the infinity symbol and again the turquoise bead makes it very summery perfect for a holiday.

Finally I got this stack-able bracelet, there's lots of different colours and designs to pick from, I loved the bird on this one and the lovely colour ( I know turquoise again) haha. It's so cute and would look great with my other silver bracelets all stacked together.

I'm so happy with my Charmed Ivy order its just so affordable and I can't wait to place another order

REVIEW: THE BODY SHOP WILD ARGAN OIL

THE BODY SHOP WILD ARGAN OIL - £14.00* - THE BODY SHOP

I've been testing a few products from this range including the body lotion and solid oil and I have to say i'm a big fan! I haven't used a body oil before so this was new to me and I was abit worried that it would be a very greasy formula but its not its lovely. Its a dry oil that soaks into the skin so fast, it leaves the skin feeling soft and hydrated. It smells beautiful, its such a lovely scent, its clean and summery.

You can use the oil on your skin but also on your hair, you can use it on dry or wet hair. On dry hair apply avoiding the roots and pat for a shiny finish or apply to damp hair and pat then dry as normal to lock in moisture and radiance.

You don't need to use alot on your hair just a small amount, otherwise it can leave the hair looking greasy. I can see this product lasting me a very long time. I'm going to be bringing it on holiday with me as I think the oil will keep the moisture in my skin and hair.

This is part of the Wild Argan Oil range at The Body Shop which you can buy here-

REVIEW: THE BODY SHOP INSTABLUR EYE

THE BODY SHOP INSTABLUR EYE - RRP £10* - THE BODY SHOP

No one wants dark circles or tired looking eyes so The Body Shop have created the perfect all in one product to conceal the eye area aswell as enhancing your eyeshadow and it primes the eye lid.

This all in one product has a blurring texture that is created by adding together CFT Marula Oil and Spherical powder, together these products create a extra smoothing texture which has been developed for the sensitive skin around the eyes.

The product is a yellowish colour and the reason for this is the neutralising pigments conceal the blueness from dark circles under eyes and the redness on the lids, to enhance eyeshadow.

I'm loving this product, i've been using it for a couple of weeks. It feels lovely around the eyes, it's a lovely smooth texture which is great for around the eyes. I've found it works well at concealing my dark circles. The texture is very similar to primers i've used before, this one is very nice and combats oilyness on the lids to keep your eyeshadow looking vibrant and stop it from melting away or creasing.

At only £10 this is going to fly off the shelves, it's a great all round eye product. I think it's a great concealer and you only need a very small amount so the tube should last a while. The Body Shop Instablur Eye will be available from the 17th September

My latest charity shop find

Urban Decay Naked Palette RRP- £36

I picked this up in my local charity shop for £8 thats right ! Thats a massive saving of £28 !

I'm not going to go on and on because I will be reviewing the palette in more depth when I have used it more. The palette contains 12 amazing neutrals! Its the perfect kit to create bronze looks and smokey eyes. I love it already!

Like I said I got this in my local charity shop- It was unused and in the original packaging and still had the Debenhams label on it. The only thing wrong with it was the Karma brush was missing but I probably would have used it anyway.

I love going into charity shops and would really recommend having a look next time your out and about because theres bargains to be found and your doing your little bit for charity at the same time!

NARS Blush : Angelika

I've had my eyes on this for a while but decided I have far too many blushers so i've just never bought it but the other day I went into space NK and I wanted to buy something so bad and I ended up leaving with this !

I love it. I think the colour is gorgeous and it's a me blush ! Its pink and glittery !  The rest of my blushers even though they are all very similar in colour the rest are not glittery. This leaves a really nice shimmer/ glitter on your cheeks that glisten in the sun :) It's not too much though.

The pigmentation is your usual NARS pigmentation which I think is very good and the packaging is so simplistic and lovely and matte yay! I do love abit of matte black packaging.

For £21.50 it does leave a little dent in your bank balance but a benefit blush is like £24.50 !

The colour is quite natural if you apply it gently and you can build it up for more colour so its good for day or night. I love a lot of colour on my cheeks so this is perfect.

I've actually been applying NARS Gina which is a more orange tone blush to define my cheeks and then applying this across my cheek bone to define them abit more. So far i'm really loving this blush and so happy I got it :)

I went along to the SS13 launch at Bits and Bows in the custard factory on Saturday. Bits and Bows is a handmade jewelry and clothing shop run by the lovely Sarah (Miss Bows)

I was welcomed into the shop and offered cupcakes and tea mmm.  On Saturday Birmingham was blessed with sunshine and the shop is a suntrap! It was gorgeous! The shop is lovely and decorated all pink and shabby chic and it’s filled with Sarah’s fabulous creations. There’s a comfy sofa where you can sit and look through magazines and decide what you’re going to buy whilst having a cuppa from a Cath Kidston mug

Sarah sells loads of different products like necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, hair accessories and handmade clothing. She can make so many different things like skirts, dresses and tops and measures you up so they fit perfectly and you also get to pick what fabric you want so there will be no two items the same! I ordered a midi skirt in a lovely tie dye fabric - it's great because i'm short I got measured by Sarah so the skirt will fit me perfectly - I'm so excited to get it and will show you lot !
Have a look at Sarah's Facebook She has LOADS of fabrics on there for you to choose from.

The day was really fun! Rosie and Hollie were doing nails and eyelashes making the day a really nice girly day out! The girls were all having an amazing time getting their nails done by Rosie and then their eyelashes done by Hollie and then into the shop to buy some jewelry from Sarah!

I had such a good day and got to chat to everyone and took loads of photos! Sarah was amazing and really can’t wait to see her again when I go to pick up my skirt she’s making for me ;) Visit the Bits and Bows website and see what Sarah has to offer and then make an appointment to see her in store because there’s a lot more stuff in the shop like rose headbands by Crown And Glory and bows made by @Beauxoxo
