BEAUTY: BECCA JACLYN HILL SHIMMERING SKIN PERFECTOR IN CHAMPAGNE POP

I have to say I am a sucker for a blogger hype, I heard so many people raving about this and I just needed to try it! My local Space NK were out of stock but I was sent a voucher to spend online and my £5 off reward was going to run out so I took the plunge and ordered it. I also picked up the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel so keep an eye out for that review coming soon. At £32 it's alot more than I tend to spend on a highlighter. I have to say the box and packaging are lovely, and when you open that little compact you are not left disapointed. the product is so pretty such a gorgeous shimmery golden shade. It's very pigmented so you only need a tiny bit, I use the Real Techniques Tapered blush brush to apply it to my cheekbones. Just one swipe across the compact and onto the cheeks is the ideal amount. It's such a gorgeous colour, a really nice golden colour which will be absolutely perfect in the summer months when i've got more of a glow! It's a really beautiful highlight and is perfect for everyday or going out as it's easy to build up. I wasn't sure if this was going to be worth the price tag but it's worth every penny. I reach for it every single day and I really do love it. I'm not sure if I would purchase it again but If I had a discount/ voucher I would really consider buying it again. I have been using this for about a month now everyday and it doesn't even look like it's touched so I'm hoping a little goes a long way and it lasts a long time.

If you want to check out the rest of the Becca range then head on over to the Space NK website

BEAUTY AND FASHION : WISHLIST

I haven't done a wishlist for a while so I thought i'd pop one together, I seem to be wanting to shop alot at the moment. I've been to Primark a few times and i've just placed a Space NK order so hopefully I can resist buying anything else till payday! I'm doing that thing where you just don't look at your bank balance and hope for the best!

I keep looking at handbags, I nearly bought this grey/ mink colour bag from H&M however I don't tend to use big bags so I put it down and then a girl came into work with this gorgeous J By Jasper Conran bag and I was like OOOOO but when I went into the Debenhams in Birmingham they didn't have it so again I managed to be good and not buy anything.

I bought a few bits in Kiko last month, you can see my haul here but I really want to pick up the Gwen Stefani palette by Urban Decay but I have so so many eye shadow palettes and can't seem to commit to buying it I did think Clint may have bought it me for Valentines but we didn't buy each other presents this year.

I keep looking at gym clothes too, I really want to get back to the gym but I can't really afford my membership right now so i'm going try and stick to my healthy eating and workout dvd. The sportswear in New Look is gorgeous. I love these geometric leggings and this yoga top.

These boots are lovely, it's still too cold outside to wear flats just yet so i'm still living in my boots. These Clarks boots from Brantano would be perfect and keep me going. I could put them away till next year because Clarks are such good quality and they are classic black suede boots. They are also half price right now!

Finally this Abbott Lyon watch, they are all so pretty. I really love the grey strap on this one and I love the silver face. I have a few watches but this one is just so classy and clean and would just go with any outfit.

HOW TO KEEP THAT SUMMER GLOW

With the rubbish weather were having right now in the UK I thought I would share some of my favourite bronzing products so you can keep that summer glow through into Autumn.

I don't know about you but i'm loving contouring and highlighted cheekbones right now and I'm not quite ready for autumn, So here's a few of my favourite products to keep your skin glowing.

When choosing a contour / bronzer theres a few different options you can pick from, I tend to go for a light / medium shade and stick to matte as I think it's easier to work with, you can always add shimmer using a highlighter. The Clarins Aquatic Treasures Summer Bronzing Compact* is a great addition to any collection, inside it has four shades to pick from. The compact is a really decent size making it easy to swizzle your brush and get a decent amount of product on the brush. I use the ecotools contour brush or a powder brush depending on intensity i'm going for. The Clarins bronzer is the perfect shade for my skintone, it lasts all day and is easy to build up. Nars Laguna is such a popular bronzer, I always see it in blog posts and raved about by bloggers. I have this Nars Virtual Domination palette which is such a great product as inside is the Miss Liberty highlighting powder and 3 blushers. Laguna is a matte bronzer, it's a slightly darker shade but once its blended its perfect and so versatile. Laguna is such a lovely pigmented bronzer, it's such a great quality product. I recently picked up this Seventeen Define and Conquer kit, you can read my full review here. It's a really handy kit with a contour and highlight inside. The contour is such a versatile shade and a great quality contour and the highlight is a matte powder. I find this sets my concealer really well so I use this in areas that I have used concealer to highlight. For £5.99 this is an absolute bargain and I really reccommend it, I will be buying another one when I've used this one.  Finally I thought i'd include my hourglass ambient lighting palette, this is a great palette for highlighting and setting your foundation. It gives the skin that shimmer and glow, the ambient palette has three different shades and is easy to use. The product is a versatile product, you can use it to highlight or add it to other products. It's a fine powder so it's quite natural but you can build up the product easily. I'm going to Ibiza in two weeks so i'm not ready to let summer go just yet, maybe when I get back i'll get into Autumn mode!

REVIEW : Chantecaille Compact Make up

Chantecaille compact make up - Powder Foundation - £48* Buy at space NK or Chantecaille (us only)

I have never used anything from Chantecaille before and decided to try this powder foundation,  I started getting bored of my liquid foundation and I used to use powder foundations all the time.

This Chantecaille foundation is a decent size and comes in this lovely big compact with a good mirror. The colour was good for my skin tone and I liked the product. I however couldn't wear it alone as a foundation. The coverage wasn't great and I didn't feel like I had any make up on at all.
It didn't really cover my problem areas very well or blemishes. It is a very light coverage. So I used it up as a powder. I applied it with my powder brush and it seemed to work nicer with my normal liquid foundation.

It was like the powder needed something to hold on to. I really liked this powder as a setting powder but not as a foundation. I liked the finish it left and my face didn't get shiny for most of the day but it's £50 I couldn't spend on a powder.

I would recommend this to people who want a really light coverage, who just need that layer but don't have spots or blemishes that the make up needs to cover.

NARS Blush : Angelika

I've had my eyes on this for a while but decided I have far too many blushers so i've just never bought it but the other day I went into space NK and I wanted to buy something so bad and I ended up leaving with this !

I love it. I think the colour is gorgeous and it's a me blush ! Its pink and glittery !  The rest of my blushers even though they are all very similar in colour the rest are not glittery. This leaves a really nice shimmer/ glitter on your cheeks that glisten in the sun :) It's not too much though.

The pigmentation is your usual NARS pigmentation which I think is very good and the packaging is so simplistic and lovely and matte yay! I do love abit of matte black packaging.

For £21.50 it does leave a little dent in your bank balance but a benefit blush is like £24.50 !

The colour is quite natural if you apply it gently and you can build it up for more colour so its good for day or night. I love a lot of colour on my cheeks so this is perfect.

I've actually been applying NARS Gina which is a more orange tone blush to define my cheeks and then applying this across my cheek bone to define them abit more. So far i'm really loving this blush and so happy I got it :)
