REVIEW: OLIVIA BURTON WONDERLAND DUSTY PINK AND GOLD WATCH

OLIVIA BURTON WATCH - £65*

I recently got some shopping vouchers and decided I wanted to buy myself something special and worthwhile rather than wasting them on clothes or make up. I thought a new watch would be a good investment and i'd had my eye on an Olivia Burton watch for a while so I headed to the Goldsmiths Boutique in Birmingham Bullring where they had quite a good selection of different Olivia Burton watches. I really love the ones with pretty floral faces and the butterfly ones however I knew I wanted to go for a more classic style that I could wear everyday! I was stuck between this version and the black version but I went for the dusty pink as I think it looks really lovely on and it's still a neutral. I really liked the black version but after some help from the lovely sales assistant we all decided the pink was more me :)

This version retails at £65 which I think for a designer watch is a bargain, Olivia Burton is still a new fresh brand, they have some amazing vintage style watches in their collection and their watches are available at Selfridges, Asos and as I said before Goldsmiths Boutique! They are going to be BIG!.

*I was gifted some shopping vouchers and used these to buy my watch I wasn't sent the vouchers by Olivia Burton and have not been asked to review my watch. My opinions are my own and I have expressed this above.

OOTD : Sutton Vintage fair

Coat: Debenhams // Boots: Dorothy Perkins // Scarf : Market // Dress: Primark // Bag : Topshop

Last Sunday I went to Sutton to go to the Vintage Fair ! Its in sutton every couple of months so if you live in Birmingham or not to far away go to Sutton Vintage fair ! They have a website and facebook so you can check when the next one is. I really like the Vintage fair because if you have an eye for a bargain you will find something here that tickles your fancy! I only bought a necklace because I didn't really want to spend any money but there was defiantly things I would have bought ! The actual Vintage is so busy and crowded that it was really difficult for me to take any photos inside because I was too small and just surrounded by loads of people but its like the Birmingham Vintage fair that I posted about a couple of weeks ago but about 5x bigger !

Bits and Bows SS13 Launch

I went along to the SS13 launch at Bits and Bows in the custard factory on Saturday. Bits and Bows is a handmade jewelry and clothing shop run by the lovely Sarah (Miss Bows)

I was welcomed into the shop and offered cupcakes and tea mmm.  On Saturday Birmingham was blessed with sunshine and the shop is a suntrap! It was gorgeous! The shop is lovely and decorated all pink and shabby chic and it’s filled with Sarah’s fabulous creations. There’s a comfy sofa where you can sit and look through magazines and decide what you’re going to buy whilst having a cuppa from a Cath Kidston mug

Sarah sells loads of different products like necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, hair accessories and handmade clothing. She can make so many different things like skirts, dresses and tops and measures you up so they fit perfectly and you also get to pick what fabric you want so there will be no two items the same! I ordered a midi skirt in a lovely tie dye fabric - it's great because i'm short I got measured by Sarah so the skirt will fit me perfectly - I'm so excited to get it and will show you lot !
Have a look at Sarah's Facebook She has LOADS of fabrics on there for you to choose from.

The day was really fun! Rosie and Hollie were doing nails and eyelashes making the day a really nice girly day out! The girls were all having an amazing time getting their nails done by Rosie and then their eyelashes done by Hollie and then into the shop to buy some jewelry from Sarah!

I had such a good day and got to chat to everyone and took loads of photos! Sarah was amazing and really can’t wait to see her again when I go to pick up my skirt she’s making for me ;) Visit the Bits and Bows website and see what Sarah has to offer and then make an appointment to see her in store because there’s a lot more stuff in the shop like rose headbands by Crown And Glory and bows made by @Beauxoxo

The Custard Cream

Heres some fab pictures of an event that takes place in Birmingham at the Custard Factory Every saturday :)

Birmingham Vintage Fair

On Saturday I went along to the Birmingham Vintage Fair at The Custard Factory in Digbeth. It was a really good day and there was loads of stalls to visit selling vintage clothing, jewellery, home ware to more modern styles of jewellery and accessories.
The fair wasn't too big so there wasn't loads of stalls all selling the same things. The stalls sold very unique items, I especially liked the jewellery and the reworked pieces. I love levi shorts and tartan shirts and this was a great place to get things like this at bargain prices. There were so many different handbags at the fair as well. The fair was just really great and everyone was so nice :)
There was some really cute little kitsch style necklaces and rings and then some really cute shabby chic style ones, it was lovely to see such a range of different styles there. I spotted some amazing sun glasses and I had to try a bowler hat on ! And then at the end there was a little tea room where you could sit down and have some cake and tea :) It was a really fun day and was really nice to visit The custard Factory as I haven't been there in a while.
The Custard Factory also had it's Custard Cream event on which they hold every Saturday where they have an extra 20+ Stalls all selling vintage and handmade goodies and this was really good to visit too !
