INTERIOR: HOMEWEAR WINTER WISHLIST

I'm feeling so festive and Christmassy right now, i've even got Clint to get our Christmas Decorations out of the loft, I think i'm going to put our tree up next week. I don't normally feel festive until December but this year I feel like i've started getting ready for Christmas really early, I think Clint has basically finished his Christmas shopping and i've already been wrapping presents, ITS NOVEMBER!

Anyway, I thought i'd share some really cute festive homewear bits that i've spotted recently, I don't really need anymore Christmas homewear but here's a bit of a wishlist that i've managed to compile.

I love Christmas Bedding! Both of these duvet covers are from Yorkshire Linen, I love the penguin set! I don't have anything like this and I LOVE PENGUINS! I think this is really wintery and sweet, the other set is a more subtle snowflake design, I think red bedding automatically makes you feel wintery and Christmassy. Both of these sets are a Flannelette material which is so soft and cosy, I love having flannelette bedding at Christmas time. I also love throws and blankets, I always have a throw at the end of my bed and I have a few Christmassy ones. I love this Teddy throw in Silver from Yorkshire Linen. It looks so fluffy and I love that it's silver, it would look really festive and would go perfectly with the Penguin bedding that i've picked out.

How cute is this 'Baby it's cold outside' cushion from Asda, I love the gold writing and think it would look great with the Penguin bedding and the silver throw! This polar bear cushion is also from Asda, check out Christmas at Home with Asda here.

I just love Christmas Candles and really want this Neom Candle I spotted it in M&S and made sure that I pointed it out to Clint so I hope I get a nice new Candle for Christmas. I also thought i'd include a couple of Yankee Candles as they have some amazing scents for Christmas including Candy Cane Lane.

CHRISTMAS DAY WITH GEORGE AT ASDA

Everyone spends Christmas Day differently some people like to stay in their pj's all day and others like to get dressed up and head out and let someone else do the cooking. I have to say I usually love to stay at home with the family in my pj's all day and watch lots of films and eat my bodyweight in chocolate. This year is going to be a little bit different, i've recently moved out of my family home and into my own flat with Clint. We're not 100% sure what we are doing on Christmas day but I think we might just stay at our house, have a chilled out day together watching films, we have been invited to Clints parents for dinner aswell so we might pop round which means i'll have to get dressed up. I think this dress from George is a perfect Christmas day dress*, it's a lovely plain black dress with an embellished collar. It's a simple dress, I really love the shift style and it's so comfy. I think with a pair of thick tights and some comfy socks i'll be so cosy for a perfect Christmas day. I love this faux fur cardigan* aswell, it's such a simple but elegant piece which is perfect for the festive season. I think you could easily wear it on a night out, im going to wear it for my Christmas Party with work next weekend but I also think it's a lovely cosy cardigan to keep you toasty at home with the family.

What do you like to do on Christmas Day? Do you buy a Christmas day outfit?

LIFESTYLE: HOME WISHLIST

BED FRAME: IKEA // DESK : IKEA // CUSHIONS : H&M // CANDLE HOLDER: H&M // MATTRESS: MATTRESS NEXT DAY

So myself and Clint have been looking at apartments to rent, we've been together for two years and he basically lives at my house with me and my parents. I'm not too sure what my next career decision is going to be but because I want to go back to university and finish my teacher training i'm not really in a situation where I can be sure what money i'm going to be picking up.

I have however been looking at lots of apartments and houses and obviously looking at furniture as this would be our first home and would need to buy everything. I love this bed from Ikea, I've had my eye on it for awhile, I really want a white bed frame, my current bed is a brown leather frame which i'm not very keen on. My bed is quite uncomfortable aswell, so I think i'd need to invest in a new mattress aswell, i've spotted a few decent ones on Mattress Next Day, including this Silent Night one which is only £139.99 for a double which I think is really reasonable, I always thought Mattresses were really expensive. I always get my bedding from Ikea and Asda, but h&m have some really lovely things right now aswell. I love these cushions from h&m, I have so many cushions so I doubt I need anymore but I love this cat one in particular. I really want a new desk for blogging aswell, in my house right now we have a spare room so i've been thinking about clearing it out and making an office for myself. I could then bring the desk to our new place if we had room for an office or I could use it as my dressing table as my current one is getting abit old.

OUFTIT POST: MONOCHROME TROUSERS

Trousers : George at Asda*
Jacket: F&F at Tesco
Vest : Primark
Bag: New Look
Sandals: Primark
Necklace: Charmed Ivy

I've been after a pair of trousers for awhile so it was kinda spooky when these came in the post last week. They are just what i've been looking for,  I wanted a nice smart/ casual pair of trousers that are comfy and easy to wear.
They are a nice stretchy material and they are quite thick. They have a nice textured feel to them and the pattern is really nice and modern.
They are part of the Limoncello range from George and they look fab with a bright yellow cami or top. I decided to pop on a black vest and my favourite bright pink jacket today.
I think it works really well and would be perfect for a day out shopping or at the office or if you were going out for dinner, such a great day to night outfit.

You can buy the trousers here for just £14 and check out the rest of the Limoncello range here

FESTIVAL PICKS FROM GEORGE AT ASDA

How to Do Festivals, in Fancy Dress Style
As summer fast approaches, many people will have their eye on a cheeky festival or two. Whether it’s a family-friendly outing, or a full-scale weekend in the mud at Glastonbury, there’s no shortage of festival options, no matter where you are in the country. While the line-ups are often at the forefront of festival-goers minds in the run up to their chosen weekend, others will have thoughts about what they’re going to wear to stand out from the crowd.
The clothing that you should pack for a festival depends largely on what you’ll be doing once you’re there. The UK weather is infamously turbulent, leaving many festivals in knee-deep mud within a day or two, so a pair of wellies is essential. Apart from that, anything goes! Fancy dress is a popular choice with festival-goers – it’s fun and comfortable, and will well and truly get you into the festival mood!
If you want to stand out from the crowd, fancy dress is the way forward. And, if you’re on a tight budget (and would prefer to keep as much money aside to spend once you’re on the festival site), you can buy some fab outfits from George at ASDA that won’t break the bank.
While some festivals offer up a fancy dress theme to follow, others will leave you to your own devices, trusting that your imagination will provide an outfit suitably silly and perfect for some candid camera moments as you wander around the festival site. Take the Isle of Wight Festival, for example. Last year, they gave attendees the chance to dress up in “funny fancy dress”, while Glastonbury updated ticketholders with Flash Mob fancy dress themes during the weeks prior to the big weekend. This year, festivals throughout the summer will undoubtedly provide ideas for you to follow when it comes to planning your costumes, and if not, the fancy dress world is your oyster.
Opt for an outfit that will not only stand out and be comfortable, but one that will be able to stand the tests of a muddy field in the middle of nowhere. While sky-high heels would normally be the way to go when it comes to packing a punch with an outfit, they may be a bit of a fashion faux-pas at an outdoor festival – you’d likely look good, but it’s not the most practical footwear in the circumstances, and you don’t want to break any bones! Why not try the new season’s jelly shoes instead for footwear that’s fashion-forward, comfortable and wipes clean!
The English weather often leaves a lot to be desired, so make sure that whatever outfit you do choose to wear will stand the tests of the downpours. Face paints are a handy thing to pack in case the sun shines, but if you’re facing a soggy day, perhaps they should be kept in your backpack through fear of them streaming down your face.
Whether you have a unique and innovative costume theme to work off, or you have to magic something up yourself, fancy dress is an awesome way of making the festival experience even more amazing. Enjoy yourself this summer, and have fun in festival fancy dress!

REVIEW: Loreal Skin Perfection 3 in 1 micellar water

Loreal Paris Micellar Water - £4.99 Superdrug

I picked up the Loreal Micellar water because it was on offer at Superdrug for £2.50. It's currently on 2 bottles for £5 at tesco which is an equally good offer.

I haven't tried Bioderma so I can't compare but I must say I really enjoy using this micellar water.
Its a 200ml bottle for £5 whereas Bioderma is 250ml for £9.99

This is a really nice gentle micellar water that doesn't irritate my eyes or skin and removes all my make up including stubborn mascara's !!

Its a 3 in 1 micellar water so it removes make up, unclogs pores and removes impurities and tones leaving skin feeling soft.

It's really sensitive so can be used on eyes, lips and face.

I would really love Loreal to make bigger bottles of this product as I do feel like I use quite a bit of product and therefore it would be cost effective to sell bigger bottles.

I like to use this to remove my make up before I do a deeper cleanse or in the morning before I apply my make up as a toner.

Have you used any of the new Loreal range? I like the look of the new face oil !
