EVENT: FRANCESCO ACADEMY BLOGGER EVENT

I was invited along to a blogger event at The Francesco Academy in Birmingham last week. It was a get together of a few bloggers to have a mingle and check out the latest Embrace Collection. Theres a very wide range of styles to choose from. They have a wall full of photos of the collection which I think is great for clients to sit and choose a style they like.

I've been to the Francesco Academy before for a blog event and had a blow dry but i've never actually had a cut or colour, i'm very very tempted to head down to get my hair done here from now on.

I got to have such a lovely catch up with Tasha so it made the night really good as we haven't had a good catch up for ages. We had a few drinks, some snacks and a good old chat.

I sat down with a cuppa tea whilst the lovely Melvin from Francesco styled my hair for me. I wanted something new and since i've had my hair cut i've only straightened my hair so we decided to curl it. Melvin used the Cloud 9 Wand to curl my hair which created really lovely cute curls. He then did a two strand plait across the front and brought it round under the rest of my hair, this kept my hair out of my face, I think this is the perfect style for my upcoming holiday, its really easy and simple and will keep the hair out of my face.

I then had my Skin Tone Analysis with Claire and we discussed what skin tone I have and what colours work with my skintone and which ones don't. It was really interesting, I have a warm skintone and it was really good beacause I could actually see what colours were bringing out the warmness in my skintone and what colours were draining the warm tones out.

It was such a lovely event and all the staff and the lovely ladies from Alison Jameson Consultants were great and made it such a lovely night.  I'm really looking forward to my next visit to the salon which i'm sure will be very soon.

(I was given the opportunity to have my hair styled for free and gifted a hair care item from their product range, this doesn't effect any views I may have, this post is honest throughout)
