Outfit of the day

dress: f&f tesco  leggings: primark watch: swatch

I went into Tesco to have a little look at their summer sale, I actually ended up buying a bikini (not in the sale) and this dress (not in the sale )

I picked it up as something to wear on my holiday but it also looked really nice today with my leggings and leather jacket.

Sunday Update #4

top: primark jumper: internationale necklace: topshop

001. This week with the bank holiday i've been working. I spent wednesday and thursday with daniel. It was his birthday yesterday so we just stayed in and watched The Truman Show and the football and ate loads of rubbish.

002. I've ordered a few more bits from h&m online (nothings arrived yet :/) and I ordered a beach bag from river island which I don't like - Its really really big!  So I will be returning that tomorrow.

003. I need to buy Porefessional by Benefit. I got the sample in Glamour and I love it! I might buy a couple more magazines as I really know what I will do when my samples run out. I'll have to pay £23.50 for the full size.

Sorting through my summer wardrobe

from left to right : high waisted denim shorts: new look, denim hot pants: topshop, white lace dress: primark, grey jersey dress: primark, green lace top: new look, orange skirt: new look, grey skirt h&m; blue skirt; river island, white aztec top: primark, lilac denim shorts; topshop.

I thought I would put together a post with a few tips and what I wear on holiday and in the summer.

I like to buy plain clothes, like plain colours and white and grey things. This way it's really easy to team outfits together. When you have lots of patterned clothes it can be quite difficult to match up things. Also this way if you buy a statement bag, with a really nice pattern you can wear it with most of your outfits.

Denim shorts are a must have! They go with everything and you can wear them night and day! Team them up with flip flops and a vest to go to the beach and then Sandals and a cute top for the evenings. This way you can wear a pair of shorts a few times and this can save on luggage allowance in your suitcase. (unless your like me and have to bring like 4 pairs of denim shorts.)

Basic Jerseys: You can get them from Primark h&m and new look for really cheap. I love these little jersey skirts as you can wear them day and night and they look really cute. It's best to buy a few plain white vests and then a few coloured ones for in the day. Suncream ruin's white tops so there is really no point in spending silly money on vest tops. This way you could even just leave them behind when your going home and save your self such luggage allowance for all the stuff you bought in duty free.

If your like me you have 94832847 pairs of shoes and you have to bring every single pair on holiday just in case you might need that pair. Just bring your flip flops, and a pair of brown sandals and black sandals and something comfy incase you do ay trips etc. Thats all you need and shoes are really heavy!

Now i'm going on holiday for two weeks and we all know that toiletries are silly money on holiday so make sure you bring enough, make sure you have your suncreams and shampoos etc. Don't bring your favourite bed head products or your Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser because if you bring the cheap stuff you can just chuck it away before you come home.

I know this is all kinda common sense but I hope you enjoy this and I know there are some holiday virgins out there who probably don't have a clue what they need to pack for their first holiday this summer.

My H&M sale buys!

I've recently become abit obsessed with H&M's website and their sale. I'm yet to recieve anything i've ordered which is why I haven't done any outfit posts but this is my 2nd order from the H&M website.
I did a post last week and showed you guys some bikini's that I ordered. This week i've ordered these sunnies, this really cute pastel blue skirt and this playsuit. They have some other colours in the skirt and other patterns of playsuit. I decided the blue was really nice and will look great!! on my holiday with a white tank top and a brown sandals. There was a leopard print option for the playsuit too but I've decided to buy plain clothes for my holiday as i've bought the aztec pattern bag in my last River island wish list post.

If you use the promo code '1304' you get £5 off your order, I think this is good because they have rather pricey postage fees so this covers your postage :)

River Island Holiday Wish List

all from river island.

I'm loving aztec patterns this summer. I've wanted this bag for ages and now its £15!!! I will be buying this !  This dress is so pretty, I think its a little bit expensive for a summer dress as I would probably only wear it a few times. And everyone loves a pair of oversized sunnies!

I'm really excited for my holiday, I cant believe I still have about 11 weeks to wait :'( but at least I have plenty of time to save for some key pieces to wear.

sunday update #3

I realise this is a late sunday update since its late on monday night but i've been working alot over the weekend and haven't really had time to post.

001. As I said above i've been working a few extra hours at work this weekend. I've paid for the holiday now so I need abit of extra money for clothes, spending money etc.

002. You all know it's The Queens diamond jubilee celebrations this weekend, I've just watched the BBC footage of the celebrations, I would have loved to have been at Buckingham Palace as the atmosphere looked great. I really like that we have a monarchy and the jubilee and olympics is making everyone really patriotic and proud to be British which I think is really cute.

003. Made £90 in tips over 4 days this weekend, hopefully make more tomorrow to take me over the £100 mark and then i'll put it straight into my bank on wednesday

Anyone been to any street parties or jubilee parties? how have you spent your extra long bank holiday weekend? working like me?

Some of you may have noticed a little change to PYT. The blog has had a little make over. We have a new blog header, widget headers, and I have a new button. All this thanks to Steph, she does blog designs for really cheap prices and they are really good. I love my new layout, I think its clean and cute and just alot more professional. You can buy things separately too. All you need to do is go to Steph's blog design page and have a look at some more designs and then you go to her bigcartel shop and pay, then email her and let her know colours, specifics like what buttons to do and how big you want your text etc .

I'm really happy with my new blog design and I really appreciate how much Steph helped, she even emailed over some documents that helped upload the buttons on to my blog.

I would really recommend Steph to people and I hope if anyones been thinking about getting some help with their blog that they choose Steph because her prices are cheap but the quality is great and she's a lovely person and really happy to help you out. (if your like me and don't have a clue ;))
