FASHION: SUMMER FASHION PICKS

PLAYSUIT: QUIZ US // STRAW BAG: TOPSHOP // SHOES: OFFICE // TSHIRT: RIVER ISLAND // STRIPE JUMPSUIT: BOOHOO // ROSE GOLD SHOES : BOOHOO // ORANGE TROUSERS: RIVER ISLAND // POLKA DOT PLAYSUIT: BOOHOO

It's starting to actually feel like summer woohoo! I'm feeling very inspired and really want to go out and get some new summery additions for my wardrobe. I thought i'd share a few bits and pieces that i'm loving right now!

First up how cute and summery is this playsuit from Quiz, it's gorgeous! I love the green and white and think you could easily dress this up or down depending on what accessories you went for. They have a really good selection of playsuits and dresses perfect for the summer.  Quiz is expanding to the US for any of my US readers.

Next up is this jumpsuit from Boohoo, again I think you could dress this up or down. I love stripes and I would add some colour to this by wearing a brightly coloured bag and shoes.

How gorgeous are these Rose Gold sandals from Boohoo. I love the colour and the style and think they are such a versatile piece to add to my collection.

These Orange paper bag trousers are a little out of my comfort zone but absolutely gorgeous! I'm trying to be a little bit braver with my clothing choices. I feel like i'm a little bit stuck in a rut with my fashion.

Straw bags are so on trend this summer so this cute lobster one from Topshop would make a lovely addition to any bag collection.

This cute little tshirt is from River Island and I tried it on the other day and it's just lovely. I love the pearl detailing which makes it so cute and a little bit nicer than your basic white tee.

The polka dot playsuit is from Boohoo and I'm just a little obsessed with polka dots right now and I love a good playsuit so i'd love something like this.

I'm loving mustard right now and recently bought a similar pair of mustard shoes, I think they add a really nice pop of colour to an outfit, you can see how I styled my pair of mustard sandals in my latest outfit post.

FASHION: SPRING PICKS FROM COAST

Spring is nearly here! So get those Pastels out! I thought i'd share some of my favourite pieces from Coast this Spring as they have some gorgeous bits.

Spring fashion is always very pastel and pretty. I'm loving the lace and pretty florals!
How cute is this blush pink lace bardot top, it's just so nice and would be so easy to wear either with some skinny jeans or tucked into a pretty skirt. I love this grey lace skirt, it would be so versatile and dress us any tops. Grey is one of my favourite colours right now. I really love the bardot style tops and think they are going to be so perfect for Spring, they can be so flattering! This floral one is lovely! I love the bell sleeves! A pretty jacket like this is perfect for those Spring weddings and as a cover up over your pretty tops. How cute is this floaty lace blush pink skirt? I think its so pretty and would be really easy to dress up for a wedding or another occasion. I would wearing this with a white or black 3/4 sleeve top for the spring season or you could wear a blush pink lace top so it looks like a dress for more of an occasion.

What are your favourite trends for Spring?  I'm so excited for Spring and Summer to get here, i'm bored of the cold and wet weather!

REVIEW: UMBERTO GIANNINI INDULGE RANGE

I've been using the Umberto Giannini Indulge range* since before Christmas and I thought i'd share my thoughts with you guys. I haven't done a beauty product review for so long but i've just got to share this range with you.

First up how lovely is the packaging, yes its white with Rose Gold lettering!! So the packaging is gorgeous! The only thing I don't like about it is I prefer a squeezy bottle as I don't think you can get all the product out of these bottles.

The shampoo is so good! My hair feels sooo soft and clean once i've washed it using this. I don't even have to repeat, the first wash is amazing and leaves my hair feeling lovely. I could actually skip conditioner but I don't as I really like the Indulge conditioner too. I think this has lasted really well as I've been using it a few times a week for about 5/6 weeks so its a good value for money.
Boots always have offers on aswell so you can usually save some money on the product too.

The conditioner is lovely, not too thick and it leaves the hair feeling so soft. The scent is lovely and my hair always feels so clean and soft after using the range. The nourishing hair mask is lovely too for that extra bit of hydration and nourishing.

I'm really loving this range and I will be repurchasing it as I am loving it! I really wanted to feature the range in a review and share with you guys as I really have loved using it.

The Umberto Giannini Range is on 2 for £10 at Boots right now so make sure you check it out soon.

LIFESTYLE: HOW TO WIN A TWITTER GIVEAWAY?

It’s always feels nice when we get free stuff be it a magazine or winning a makeup giveaway. In the age of social media getting free stuff has now become simpler and made even more so by Twitter. Twitter makes it faster and easier to locate and keep track of freebies. I've won lots of twitter giveaways in the past from a pair of heels from River Island, a Clutch bag, Topshop vouchers, I've won tickets to events and many more. It's really easy so I thought i'd share a few tips below

1. Keep track of hashtags
A hashtag is a symbol that marks topics being talked about the most by the public. It makes it convenient to find tweets about specific issues. This simplifies the process of finding freebies on twitter. All you have to do is type in the hashtag #freebies in the search bar and you have access to all the freebies on twitter. You can use twitter clients such as TweetDeck and TweetGrid to keep track of tweets being posted with specific hashtags. You can also use Twitterfall which gives you a tweet stream that is related to certain key terms. With apps you have constant access to free goodies such as movie tickets and trial memberships from the comfort of your computer. With the use of a RSS (Rich Site Summary) reader or services like Twilert you can track all kinds of hashtag results and have them sent to a specific inbox at an hourly, daily or weekly rate.

2. Always follow brands on Twitter
As a means of promoting themselves many brands usually have giveaways or offer discount coupons for limited periods of time. You can keep up by keeping an eye on brands through their social media account. I always do this if there is something i'd love to get buy can't afford to buy just now. I've been looking at a Fit Bit for the last few weeks but I already have one so don't really need to buy one however I keep entering giveaways on Twitter just incase I might win myself a shiny new one. This doesn’t only apply to brands but also certain accounts. These accounts specialize in tweeting about free things. A few recommended accounts include: @wowfreestuffwow, this a user friendly account that leads to a website with an active interface. It usually updates daily so there is always new free samples or free stuff added to there site. @Gumtree, members of the public post things they don’t need and other members try and see if they want those things @HotUKDeals, not only does it have freebies but it also has all kinds of information on discounts and coupons. So far these are the most legitimate accounts.

3. Find a “Tweetmeet”
A tweetmeet or twitter party are online events hosted by brands where tweeps talk about certain topics for about an hour or more, i've not heard of these before but it's like a day of giveaways, I noticed a few weeks back for Blue Monday alot of brands did giveaways via twitter. They are getting really popular with marketers and usually involve a lot of giveaways and freebies. There is almost one going on at every hour of the day and different clients like Tweet deck can be used to separate tweets into separate columns. To be in the know about these parties you can use apps like Twitter Party Guide. These tips are guaranteed to save you money and get you the freebies we all crave

I hope these tips help and you win some goodies on twitter, let me know if you win anything.

LIFESTYLE: HOW TO BUDGET FOR 2017

Today i'm going to share a few tips on how you can save money and manage your money in the new year! I always say i'm going to cut back and save money and never do so but this year I want to start saving money for a deposit on our own place so we need to cut back somewhere.

The main thing when trying to budget has to be organising! Get yourself a notebook so you can write lists or make a plan of your spending. Just writing things down makes it so much easier for me.

We have a seperate bank account which our rent and bills come out of and we both transfer money into this account on payday. This means when our bills and rent is due that the money is in the account and not in our bank accounts for us to spend, I don't even carry my debit card for the joint account out with me.

Check your statements, I know this sounds obvious but once I had a payment for a subscription coming out of my paypal account and It wasn't mine and I didn't even know what it was but this was money that was coming out of my account!

Look at your finances, credit cards and bills and research if you could save money by switching? By Switching bank accounts, sometimes you can save money on fee's by doing a bank transfer and you can save yourself paying crazy fee's or you could get a small loan and pay off your credit card but pay back in easy monthly installments instead.
You can sometimes save money by switching your energy suppliers or comparing your car insurance online before you just renew for another year! There's so many comparison websites out there now that will compare prices for you which makes it so easy to save money.

Get loyalty cards etc, our Tesco clubcard saves us so much money, we tend to do most of our shopping at tesco and Clint occasionally gets fuel from there so our points add up and we get vouchers in the post, a few weeks ago we got £8 off our shopping and last week they sent out vouchers that give you £3/£4 off for the next 6 weeks if you spend over £30 so we can make great savings on our general food shop.
I also have a boots card which I have over £25 worth of points to spend, I sometimes use this when money is a little tight and I need essentials or need to get my eyebrows done etc.
Also use apps like Vouchercloud and Vouchercodes to find the vouchers, if your shopping or going out for food etc theres tons of vouchers which can save you money! Check out moneysupermarket too for great tips for saving money using vouchers.

We also plan our meals so we know what we are eating that week and stick to a shopping list so your not filling the trolley with stuff you don't need. This way we don't throw away food and it makes it easier because if Clint finishes work he can go home and start dinner because he knows what we are having. We spend less time worrying about what we are having for dinner, we have found we have less take-aways aswell because we know what we are having for dinner so this has saved us money here too!

So whether like us you need to save up for a deposit or to move out or you want to go on that holiday you've been talking about or maybe your just looking at saving for next Christmas then these are a few easy tips that we have found work for us. What are your saving tips and tricks?

CHRISTMAS: FESTIVE WISH LIST

I am so excited for Christmas! It's our christmas party on sunday which should be fun! I still have about 5 shifts before Christmas day, i'm working on Christmas Eve and the back in the day after boxing day! But I still enjoy a few days off and spending time with my family over the holiday.

I thought i'd put together a wish list, I know everyones pretty much finished shopping but these are a few bits i'd love to receive for Christmas! I didn't really ask for anything either this year but i've managed to compile quite a list!

How cute are these Cath Kidston PJ's? I've always wanted a pair, I think I might ask Clint if we can go to Bicester Village after Christmas and see what goodies they have in the Cath Kidston shop. I love the new Disney for Cath Kidston collection too! I might pick up a phone case.

I think the Soap and Glory set is on every girls wish list this year! It's so big and has so many iconic Soap and Glory goodies inside and it's the Star Buy at boots this week for just £30!

These Charlotte Tilbury Lipsticks are so so cute! I've never tried any of the Charlotte Tilbury Lipsticks so this would be a nice gift. This set contains 3 mini matte lipsticks!

This Neom Christmas candle has been on my wishlist all winter! I love the scent and I think I did kinda hint to Clint that i'd like a new Neom Candle.

I always get abit of Liz Earle for Christmas, this new orange scent cleanse and polish sounds amazing, I'm running low on Cleanse and Polish so hope I get some for Christmas.

How cute is this little Pandora floral charm, I haven't really been wearing my bracelet so I doubt i'll get any new charms but this is so pretty

I picked up a few new eyeshadow brushes from the Clothes Show, these Spectrum ones are my fave! I can never have too many brushes, and these are the best! I might pick some up with my Christmas money

How gorgeous are the Copper GHD's I saw them when I got my hair done last month and I would love a new pair of Straighteners, I've had mine a fair few years!

I love Lush! And their gift sets are always amazing, I think i've got Lush for Christmas for this last few years so I hope I get some but I will be popping into Lush on Boxing Day to pick up some Christmas Bargains!

Finally my fave perfume right now is Black Opium by YSL. My mom has picked me up a bottle of Bon Bon when we went to the World Duty Free Sale but i'm about to run out of perfume so I could do with another bottle. Something like Black Opium or La Vie Est Belle would be fab!

I hope you enjoyed this wish list and let me know whats on yours this Christmas?
Merry Christmas x

NATIONAL STRESS AWARENESS DAY - TIPS TO DE-STRESS

Did you know that today is National Stress Awareness Day? I though i'd share some tips and tricks on how I de-stress! I stress about alot of things and worry about things that I shouldn't really worry about so I find these methods help me to chill and relax.

1. Reading, I like to get all cosy and snug in bed and read a good book. I also have this mindfulness journal which I picked up in The Works which I sometimes read and complete a few activities. This helps to calm me and distract my mind.

2. Get a colouring book! You can pick up a colouring book from anywhere, your local supermarket or pound shop. These are really relaxing and just take your mind off reality. I use mine all the time. It's nice to just listen to some music and colour in for a little while, even if it's just 10 minutes whilst you make your breakfast.

3. Watch a film or series: I love getting into my pj's and watching a good film or series, I love Netflix because it has so much to choose from. We've been watching American Horror Story which is soo good! If you haven't watched it yet you can check out this article which breaks it all down for you , A guide to American Horror Story. I'd really recommend it! I really want to start a new series, I think we're gonna watch Black Mirror next.  We also go out to the cinema alot because we both love to watch films! If you check out My Voucher Codes they always have offers and vouchers to visit the cinema for less!

4. Yoga, i've started yoga from home recently. After being diagnosed with Anxiety I decided to start Yoga as a way of chilling out and letting of some steam. I find Yoga really relaxing, I picked up this book which I find useful to find out about different poses and then I follow youtube videos. I like to pop my yoga mat by the balcony doors so it's really light and bright.

5. Bath time! One of my favorite ways to relax and chill is by having a bath. I light some candles and get a Lush Bath bomb and relax. I'll soak in the bath for ages and sometimes I pop a face mask on and take a cup of tea in with me to unwind and think about nothing.

What do you do to relax and de-stress? If you are having trouble getting to sleep then check out my post about de-stressing before bed here

If your struggling with stress and need help then check out the charity Mind, here's some information about Stress Awareness Day 2016

OUTFIT: BLUE VANILLA GREY CABLE POLO NECK JUMPER

JUMPER: BLUE VANILLA* // JACKET: NEW LOOK // SKIRT: PRIMARK // BOOTS: PRIMARK // NECKLACE: PRIMARK

I'm loving these Autumn outfit posts! The leaves on the ground are so pretty! We did a spot of shopping today check out this bedding that I picked up in primark!!

Today i'm wearing this new jumper from Blue Vanilla, I love the frill detailing on the sleeves and the collar. It's a really nice cosy, soft jumper and it's actually quite a thick material. I think this is a really versatile piece, you could easily team it with either a skirt or your favourite skinny jeans.
I love this cord skirt from Primark and i've been wearing it loads recently, you can check out my last outfit post here. These boots are from Primark last year, they are so simple and easy to wear. I popped my leather jacket on today as we were out shopping and didn't want to get too hot in my coat.

I hope your enjoying my outfit posts as i've uploaded a few over the last few weeks! I'm really enjoying blogging right now!

FASHION: A GUIDE TO CHOOSING BRIDAL HAIR ACCESSORIES

You’ve finally decided on the dress, so the hard work is over, right? Unfortunately, there are more important choices to make — like picking out your hair accessories. Here, wedding headpiece designer, Rosie Willett, talks us through how to decide on yours and the other considerations you’ll need to make.
Should I decide on a hairstyle or accessory first?
It’s a problem many brides face; should they commit to a hairstyle and limit the types of accessories they can wear, or choose an accessory first and limit the hairstyles available to them? However, this shouldn’t stress you out.
It doesn’t matter which order you make the choices, as long as you make the right ones. All that matters is that you feel happy and confident with both the accessory and hairstyle you choose.
There are a number of versatile accessories out there too, so whether you go for an up do or wear your hair down, you can still add some glitz and glamour to your look.
What bridal hair accessories are there?
The good news is that there’s plenty of variety available when it comes to bridal hair accessories, including:
  • Tiaras — one of the most popular bridal hair accessories, tiaras will make you feel like royalty on your big day. They can be as large or as small as you like, so choose a style that suits you.
  • Headbands — subtler than a tiara, this is the perfect option whether your hair is up or down.
  • Hair vines — this style is growing in popularity, largely because of its versatility. Form it into a halo-shape and wear as a crown, incorporate it into a boho-inspired braid or let it hang freely when your hair is down.
  • Hair combs — these are best worn when your hair is up or partially up. If you’re wearing a veil, make sure it’s on a separate comb so removing it after the ceremony doesn’t disrupt your hairstyle too much.
Is there anything else I should consider?
The hair style and accessory you choose should naturally match your own personal style. However, you may also want to consider other factors, such as the theme of your wedding. For example, brides with a 1920s theme should consider feathered or pearl accessories to tie their day together.
You might want to consider colours too. Gold accessories work best with champagne-coloured dresses, while silver will complement ivory gowns beautifully.

LIFESTYLE: WHAT'S IN MY BAG?

Today I thought i'd share whats in my bag? I haven't done one of these for years so thought i'd share a few bits that I use everyday and always have in my bag.

First of all my bag is a recent purchase, I recently mentioned it in my Autumn / Winter haul on my youtube channel so check that out. It's from Accessorize and was £19 I love it! It's the perfect size for everyday and fits all my bits and pieces inside. I can actually fit my purse, keys and vlogging camera inside which is amazing. My camera is actually broke right now which is why I haven't featured it in this post but I use the Nikon 1 J2 which is a cool little camera for taking photos, I use it for vlogging but it's quite bulky and heavy. I really want to get myself a cute little vlogging camera but I don't even know where to start.

My purse is Ted Baker, I got it from Selfridges in the boxing day sales and it's one of my favourite purchases ever. I have quite a few purses but they are all really big and bulky and I just wanted something a bit smaller for when i'm using smaller bags. This Ted Baker purse has lots of room for cards and even has a zipper for coins. It's such a perfect little purse and the colour is a rose gold / pink shade which I love!!

Right now I have a couple of lipsticks in my bag, First up is Whirl from Mac. Whirl is a darker/ brown tone nude. I found I was wearing Velvet Teddy to death so thought i'd try something new. I've also been reaching for Kat Von D liquid lipstick in Lolita, it's just perfect!

I've found my make up is sliding off recently and my skins quite shiny so I picked up the Laura Mercier shine control pressed powder so I can touch up whilst i'm out and about. I've been using this Spectrum brush from the Marbleous Sculp kit to apply this. I love spectrum brushes and this one is perfect for setting your make up, especially under the eye.

My Tangle Teezer compact is always in my bag, especially now were getting into the winter months and it's getting rather windy. The Tangle Teezer compact fit's inside really easily! I love the pink leopard print pattern that I have. I really like the Limited Edition Lulu Guinness designs and the Markus Lupfer pattern is cool.

My keys! I don't drive so I don't have any car keys but I have my keys to get in the flat and keys to my parents house. I love the big fluffy key ring I have, I picked this up at the Clothes Show last year, it's really handy when i'm using a big bag because it makes finding my keys easier. I have a little Minnie Mouse keyring that I bought in Florida, even though we didn't go to Disney. I got my Deathly Hallows keyring from the Warner Brothers Studio tour in London.

I forgot to include my phone too which i always have in my bag, this bag has a cute little pocket at the front which fits my phone perfectly. What are your handbag must haves?

BEAUTY: MY TOP AUTUMN MAKE UP

It's time to spruce up your make up and add in those key Autumn bits. These are a few new bits i've picked up recently for the Autumn and some firm favourites.

First up! Have you seen my new babies, thats right i'm talking about my new Spectrum make up brushes.* They are absolutely gorgeous!!! I've mentioned them already on the blog here so check that out. I love them though, and as you can see they are perfect for any flat lay, they are so pretty with their gold handles !!

My new Morphe Brushes eyeshadow palette is another new addition to my collection. It was a birthday gift from my Sister and i've been using it so much! It's perfect, there's such an amazing range of shades and they are amazing quality. This is the 35T palette and you get a nice selection of shimmers and matte shades. The Morphe palettes are a bargain and such amazing quality!!

Kat Von D has just made her beauty debut to the UK so I had to get a couple of bits with my birthday money. I ordered online via Debenhams and had them delivered into store which was very easy and they arrived the next day. I am so so happy with my picks. The liquid lipstick in Lolita is perfection ! It's such a gorgeous shade and the finish is lovely, it's a creamy consistency and it dries so fast and not cakey. It's a little drying but you find that with most liquid lipsticks. I also got the Lock It creme concealer which is a really good concealer and I will be buying it again. It brightens the eye area and covers dark circles really well, it lasts well and isn't cakey. I really want to order a few more Kat Von D bits, what shall I order?

Nars Sheer Glow is one of my favourite foundations so I picked one up with my birthday money, even went all out and got a pump. I've been applying it with my Real Techniques sponge for a light everyday coverage. It's a lovely glowey finish and I really love it.

Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon in Bronzed Garnet is a perfect autumnal shade. It's a rich red, berry shade which looks stunning all over the eye. The Colour Chameleon pencils are so easy to use and they blend out well. I want to add a few more to my collection.

I thought i'd mention this cute little Lord and Berry blusher* in peach that i've been using recently just to add a slight pop of colour to the cheeks. It's a lovely buildable finish such a pretty colour, i've been wearing alot of bronzer throughout the summer so this is slightly more subtle.

A firm favourite of mine is Mac eyeshadow in Expensive Pink, I always tend to whip it out in the Autumn as it's a gorgeous red/ pink which gold shimmer and is lovely all over the lid. It's another easy but effective shade for the season.

I thought i'd mention my new favourite brow product. The NYX Tame and Frame is amazing! I've been running low on my Anastasia brow pomade for a while and i've been on the lookout for a uk alternative as Anastasia hasn't come to the UK yet. This NYX pomade is incredible, i've struggled to find it in my local boots but managed to find one. I've gone for the shade Brunette and it's perfect as I have my brows quite dark to match my roots, you can get it online from Boots.

I'm loving my new autumn make up picks! Have you got any recommendations of products I need to add to my collection. I have just picked up the new Urban Decay Matte Basics Palette which is lovely, i've been using it so much so you can expect a full review soon.

BEAUTY: HOW I DO MY HAIR!!

Everyone's hair is different and I find it hard to copy tutorials and experiment with my hair. My hair is good, it styles easily and I can curl it or straighten it quite easily. It gets greasy quickly and I have started getting issues with my scalp but apart from that my hair is healthy and considering I haven't had it cut for a while it's not that bad.

I thought i'd share a few products i'm using right now and i've switched up my hair porducts/ tools alot recently.

Shampoo and Conditioner :

I've been using the Loreal Elvive Extraordinary clay range for a little while now, you can see my full review here.  I started having problems with my scalp back in april/may time. I quickly found out that it was product build-up that was irritating my scalp so I stopped using dry-shampoo so much and switched to this shampoo and conditioner combo which worked well for my hair and scalp. I haven't been using it alot recently but my scalps been playing up again so i've introduced it back into my routine. I use it a couple of times a week alongside my other shampoo and conditioner.

I've recently been using the Bedhead TIGI Fully Loaded range* which is a range designed to add volume to your hair. My hair can be abit limp so i've been using this whole range and I love it! The shampoo and conditioner clean my hair really well and leave it feeling so clean and soft. It also smells incredible.

Styling Products:

Also from the Bedhead Fully Loaded range i've been using the Volume Boosting foam. I can't remember the last time I used a foam but this is lovely and really adds volume to my hair and makes it perfect for styling. I love using this when i'm going to curl my hair.

I have been a huge fan of Lee Stafford's Coco Loco range for a while now. I love the CoConut SPritz*this is such a lovely product. I use it if i'm leaving my hair to dry naturally and sometimes if i'm blow drying it. It leaves your hair smelling amazing and just leaves it more manageable. It detangles and smooths hair.

Also from the Coco Loco range is Blow and Go. *This is a cream product that you apply to damp hair before blow drying. I like using this because it contains heat protection as well as detangles the hair, smooths and de-frizz. It conditions and strengthens the hair too. It's an amazing product, i'm nearly all out and need to repurchase.

To set the hair, whether i've curled it or straightened it i've been reaching for the Bedhead TIGI Fully loaded finishing spray*. It's a really nice firm hold but it's not sticky and doesn't leave your hair all crunchy. I feel that my curls are more voluminous and hold well using this spray. I think it works well to add texture to straight hair too, I really like this product.

Hair Tools:

I love my GHD's I have had them for years and they are amazing, I could never use any other straighteners.

I have a couple of pair of curlers for different types of curl. Recently i've been reaching for my Lee Stafford Coco Loco Long Tong *for that everyday wave/ curl. The long tong has a longer tong(like the name) so it's perfect for all hair lengths. I find this easier to use that most hair curlers.

Recently i've been using the Arconic blow dry brush* which i'm loving!!  This is a curved paddle brush which is designed for medium to long hair. I find it so easy to use. It's a nice weight, not too heavy and very comfortable to hold. I really like blow drying my hair using this brush. It makes the hair really straight but not flat, it adds volume which is amazing and because the paddle is so big you can dry your hair so quickly by using this brush, which I love because drying your own hair is so boring.
