LIFESTYLE: MOTHERS DAY GIFT GUIDE 2018

Mothers Day 2018 is on Sunday 11th March

Today's post is a Mothers Day Gift Guide to give you a few ideas on some lovely gifts you can get your mom this Mothers Day. I love to treat my mom and Mothers Day is a great time to go and buy your mom something nice to show her how much you appreciate her. I actually bought my mom a bottle of wine and some gorgeous Yellow Lillies a few weeks ago just to say thanks!

First up are these Crabtree & Evelyn hand creams. I think hand cream is one of those products that I hate to buy but I always use it. I think they make a lovely little gift, the Crabtree & Evelyn ones are so so good and smell amazing.

Why not buy your mom a nice new Fragrance? I don't think you can go wrong with smellies. My mom loves the bottle of YSL Black Opium that I bought her for Christmas. Here's a couple of my favourites right now, Victor and Rolf BonBon, it smells so good, really sweet. Another scent i'm loving is this Ariana Grande perfume, it's a nice fresh scent for everyday.

Has your mom got a charm bracelet? My mom has a Thomas Sabo charm bracelet and I love buying her new charms. This is my Pandora bracelet and they have so many gorgeous charms. It's such a nice gift idea and they have a charm for everything.

I love this Rose Gold photo frame by Addison Ross from Amara.com, I think a photo frame with a lovely thoughtful photo inside is a lovely gift. My mom has recently become a nanny to two beautiful grandchildren so a lovely photo frame that she can pop in her living room and show off her grandbabies is a lovely gift idea.

How gorgeous is this Ted Baker Candle. It smells lovely and it looks fab. They have other colours and scents so be sure to check them out. I love the pink one and it will look fab in my living room as I have a blush pink theme. My mom would love the Burgundy one.

I picked this bag up in Accessorize the other day, I went along to a blog event at the Bullring Birmingham store. Again i'm loving this gorgeous Blush Pink colour right now. I already have this bag in Mustard too, it's such a good size and a lovely everyday bag. Accessorize actually have £10 off if you spend £50 so have a look you could even treat yourself and your mum!

I love getting things personalised, I think it's really thoughtful and shows that a lot of thought and effort has gone into the gift. How lovely is this personalised wine glass from giftsonline4u.com, I think most moms love a glass of wine, mine does! So this personalised wine glass will be perfect.  I will get her a nice bottle of rosè to go with her lovely new glass, it's a really good size too which my mom will be pleased about!  The engraving is really nice and clear and the glass came in a box which makes it really easy to wrap. I think it's such a nice touch getting it personalised and if your mom isn't a fan of wine they also stock champagne flutes and other glasses. They also stock a personalised label that you can stick right onto any bottle. giftsonline4u.com have loads of personalised gifts to choose from so head over and check them out. They stock loads of lovely gifts such as frames, jewellery and mugs which can all be personalised. They offer free standard delivery so order now or pay just £5 for next day delivery to guarantee delivery before Sunday. They stock a huge range of gifts for everyone all year round so think of them for your next special occasion.

I also picked out this Joules Mug from Amara.com again they stock other colours too. I'm loving the pink floral design. It's a great size, I like a big mug. The floral print is really pretty and would make a lovely gift, it comes in a nice box too.

I hope you got some lovely gift ideas from my gift guide, i'm very excited for my first Mothers Day!
I need to pick up a few bits for my mom to go with her wine glass and wine, I was thinking of booking us a spa day so we can have a nice chilled day together. What have you got your mom for Mothering Sunday?

LIFESTYLE: BIRTHDAY GIFT IDEAS FOR HER

Today I thought i'd share some gift ideas for her! In my family we have alot of birthdays throughout August and September and most of us are women so it gets abit crazy and I have lots of gifts to buy. My birthday was on Monday so I thought it would be fun to put together a few gift ideas for her and include a few bits I actually got for my birthday aswell as some gifts that I would gift to my friends and family.

First up is flowers! I love getting flowers and love having flowers around the apartment. I always buy flowers for my mom and sometimes for my friends and family. If my mom is working I will usually order flowers to get delivered to her work, You can find some really beautiful flowers online at Flying Flowers they have a huge selection of bouquets for any occasion. They offer free standard delivery or you can upgrade to guarantee delivery. I just search for 'lilies' as they are my moms favourite and it brings up lots of amazing bouquets full of gorgeous lilies.

I really want the Naked Heat Palette and think it's such a good gift idea for any beauty lover. You get 12 really decent size shades and they are colour's that would suit most people as there's some gorgeous brown/natural shades. I already own a few of the Urban Decay palettes and they are my favourite eyeshadows. The quality is amazing and worth every penny.

You can't go wrong with a candle. Whether you opt for a cheap supermarket brand one or go for something more luxurious like the Winter candle from The White Company. I love the candles from TkMaxx and would recommend checking them out if your on a budget but want to get a gorgeous designer candle.

I have a charm bracelet from Thomas Sabo which i've had for a few years. They are such a good gift idea as you can buy so many different charms for them. The bracelet wasn't very expensive and the charms vary in price but start at around £20. Clint got me a gorgeous heart charm for my birthday and had it engraved which was so thoughtful and it was my favorite gift. My mom also got me a little pink baby-grow charm which is super cute!

Perfume is also a good gift idea, again whatever budget you have you can find something for everyone. Next do some really good fragrances and you can usually get a good deal if you go to places like Bodycare or Savers. If your after something more expensive then check out YSL Black Opium, it's my all time favourite perfume. I've had a few bottles now and it's just such a gorgeous smell.

I was so excited when I opened up my new stylPro brush cleaner. It's an electric brush cleaner that dramatically speeds up cleaning and drying your brushes. If you've not seen one before then check it out. I've used my sisters before and it's amazing, I can't wait to clean my brushes.

Finally I love getting sweets and chocolate for my birthday and I spotted this retro sweet hamper on Flying Flowers and it's such a cool idea. You might be struggling what to get someone, maybe you have a friend or family member that lives across the country and you don't know what to get them, you can have this sent straight out to them so you don't have to worry about paying extra for delivery and they get to eat lots of yummy retro sweets, they also have lots of other hampers to choose from.

Have you got any birthday's coming up? Is your family like mine and all the birthdays are bunched together or do you have birthdays all through the year? What gifts would you like to recieve for your birthday this year?

GIFT GUIDE: MOTHERS DAY GIFT IDEAS

Mothers Day 2017 - Sunday 26th March

With Mothers Day just around the corner I thought today i'd share some Mothers Day gift ideas!

I don't know about you but my mom is pretty amazing, and I always go a little over the top when Mothers Day arrives. Here's some really cool gift ideas that you can get your mom this year.

How gorgeous are these Ted Baker Rose Gold Earrings *from Amara. I think they are stunning and would make the perfect gift for Mothers Day, They come with a little pouch and a Ted Baker Gift box which makes it look really special and they are only £25 which I think is a great price. This Scarf from Joules * also available at Amara is just gorgeous, it's so so soft and the colours are lovely. It's a really lovely scarf, my mom loves a good scarf and these are perfect for this transitional period between winter and spring where its a bit chilly outside so you want a thin scarf just to keep the cold out. You really can't go wrong with flowers, whether you pick some up from the local supermarket or have them delivered from a florist they can make a wonderful gift. My mom loves Lillies they are her favourite and purple is her favourite colour so these are perfect.

My mom has recently started using make up brushes and has been quizzing myself and my sister on how we apply our make up so some new make up brushes would be the perfect gift this mothers day. These Body Shop* ones are so lovely. The bristles are so lovely and soft and they are so easy to use. They look great and are really affordable too. I've also included a couple of other brushes below. I really like the Look Good Feel Better Brushes and this blusher brush* looks amazing. The bristles are so soft and fluffy!! I also thought i'd mention this Soeco stippling brush* as I really like the Soeco brushes they look fab, i've recently spotted them in my local Bodycare and they are really good value for money.

Why not get your mom some new skincare bits. I love Liz Earle and use their skincare everyday and I know my mom would love to add some Liz Earle bits to her routine. This is the Liz Earle Glow Getters collection.* For £29 you get the Hot Cloth Cleanser ( MY FAVE) and a gentle face exfoliator and a deep cleansing mask along with 2 Pure Cotton cloths. It's such a good price and comes in this gorgeous gift box which is designed by Jessica Tibbits.

How cute is this Mothers Day soap from The English Soap Company*, it's a really lovely gift. It smells so so good!! How cute is this gift set from The Pretty Little Treat Company. This is their Pretty Little Treasures Gift set *which contains really cute little products such as an Eye Gel, a Lip Balm, a Hand Cream and bath milk. The gift box is so pretty and the packging on the products has angels on and Clints mom loves Angels so she's going to be so excited to recieve this on Mothers Day.

If your looking for something a little more on the pricey side you could treat your mom to a bottle of perfume, this Tiziana Terenzi Fragrance * is avaliable at Harvey Nichols and is a woody, spicy oriental scent. It's really strong and has top notes of Bergamot and Red Currant. The bottle and the packaging is gorgeous and so luxurious and would make a lovely addition to any moms dressing table.

You really can't go wrong with a scented candle and my favourites are the Neom Travel Size candles. I love Tranquility and Happiness, they are my favourite scents. They retail for about £16 and smell amazing!

How cool is this Scrabble Light from Red Candy*! You use the stickers to spell out different words, they would be so much fun especially to personalise for different occasions. They light up from the mains and the stickers are reusable so you can change them all the time to say different things. I think these would be amazing in a nursery or kids room aswell as in a main room.

I hope you enjoyed my Gift Guide and I gave you some inspiration for Mothers Day. Even if you can't afford to buy your mom something get her a card and show her that you are thankful for everything she does for you.

NATIONAL STRESS AWARENESS DAY - TIPS TO DE-STRESS

Did you know that today is National Stress Awareness Day? I though i'd share some tips and tricks on how I de-stress! I stress about alot of things and worry about things that I shouldn't really worry about so I find these methods help me to chill and relax.

1. Reading, I like to get all cosy and snug in bed and read a good book. I also have this mindfulness journal which I picked up in The Works which I sometimes read and complete a few activities. This helps to calm me and distract my mind.

2. Get a colouring book! You can pick up a colouring book from anywhere, your local supermarket or pound shop. These are really relaxing and just take your mind off reality. I use mine all the time. It's nice to just listen to some music and colour in for a little while, even if it's just 10 minutes whilst you make your breakfast.

3. Watch a film or series: I love getting into my pj's and watching a good film or series, I love Netflix because it has so much to choose from. We've been watching American Horror Story which is soo good! If you haven't watched it yet you can check out this article which breaks it all down for you , A guide to American Horror Story. I'd really recommend it! I really want to start a new series, I think we're gonna watch Black Mirror next.  We also go out to the cinema alot because we both love to watch films! If you check out My Voucher Codes they always have offers and vouchers to visit the cinema for less!

4. Yoga, i've started yoga from home recently. After being diagnosed with Anxiety I decided to start Yoga as a way of chilling out and letting of some steam. I find Yoga really relaxing, I picked up this book which I find useful to find out about different poses and then I follow youtube videos. I like to pop my yoga mat by the balcony doors so it's really light and bright.

5. Bath time! One of my favorite ways to relax and chill is by having a bath. I light some candles and get a Lush Bath bomb and relax. I'll soak in the bath for ages and sometimes I pop a face mask on and take a cup of tea in with me to unwind and think about nothing.

What do you do to relax and de-stress? If you are having trouble getting to sleep then check out my post about de-stressing before bed here

BEAUTY : REVIEW LEE STAFFORD COCO LOCO RANGE

Lee Stafford Coco Loco Range available now at Boots

I have to say i'm a huge Lee Stafford fan, I use the Bleach Blondes range as it's the best at keeping those brassy tones away! I have bleached the ends of my hair so I used to struggle to keep those brassy tones away but not since I started using the Bleach Blondes range, I love the whole bleach blondes collection, the Hot Shotz and correcting conditioning spray are must haves if you find those brassy tones make a come back! Anyway this review is about the Coco Loco range, you can check out my reviews of the Bleach Blondes range here

I found my hair had gone quite dry and damaged, I knew I needed to get some hydration into my hair. The Coco Loco range by Lee Stafford contains Coconut Oil which is a natural nutrient and provides the essential proteins for nourishing and repairing damaged hair. So i've been giving the range a try and I have to say my hair is feeling so so much better.

I love the Shampoo and Conditioner they are so easy to use and smell amazing! I absolutely love Coconut scented products. My hair feels really lovely and clean when I use the shampoo, I tend to rinse and repeat with the shampoo to make sure I get all the dry shampoo and other products out my hair. Then I follow with the conditioner which is really lovely and hydrating.

The Coconut mask is lovely, I like to jump into a hot lush bath with candles and wack a load of this on my hair and just lie there for ages letting the mask get to work on my hair. I only really put it on my ends as this is where my hair is dry and damaged. My hair always feels really soft and shiny after i've used the mask.

The Coconut Spritz is a nice product to use, you can apply it onto towel dried hair to condition and detangle hair which I think works really well. It makes my hair shiny and and smooth and stops it drying so frizzy. You can also spritz this into the hair throughout the day to refresh your hair.

The Blow and Go genius lotion improves your hair in every way possible, your hair will be softer, shinier, sleeker, smoother, stronger and conditioned. You just apply to towel dried hair and style as normal. It makes your hair so much easier to style and locks in that moisture so your hair looks smoother and stronger for longer.

Finally the Coconut Balm, this is just like Coconut Oil, it's a solid product that melts in your hand and you can apply it to the ends of your hair to keep your hair protected and smooth.

The whole range is amazing, if your hair is feeling dull and damaged you need to get your hands on some of these products. Selected Lee Stafford products are on 2 for £10 right now at Boots so take advantage of an amazing offer and give the range ago! They are really afforable products and leave your hair feeling like you've been to the salon.
