LIFESTYLE: HANDMADE CARDS AND FRAMES

If you have me on instagram you may have noticed i've started to make handmade cards and frames. I actually have a degree in Fine Art and did alot of collage based work so I thought i'd use my creative eye and make some cute handmade cards. I am currently taking orders and if you would like something personalised then get in touch and we can discuss.

I have made an instagram account for my handmade cards and frames so check that out here

Here's a few i've already made and I have a few orders which i'll be making through the week. I've also made a few cards which I haven't featured yet as they have been ordered by my friends and family for birthdays etc and I don't want to spoil any surprises

If you'd like to commission a card or frame get in touch my email is amypyt@hotmail.co.uk

Granny Sally's Soap Kitchen Manna Loaf

Manna Loaf £3.50 *

Granny Sally's Soap Kitchen is an Edinburgh Family run soap making company! They make bath bombs, scrubs, soaps and candles. Granny Sally's Soap Kitchen use natural ingredients with either fruit or vegetable bases.

The Manna Loaf is an exfoliating soap, it smells gorgeous - like cakes and almonds. Its a really lovely sweet smelling soap. I must say when I first looked at it I was wondering how it's a soap because of its texture but when you add it to water and rub it in your hands it does begin to lather and it's lovely.

I can imagine this soap will last a very long time! It doesn't go down very quick and I really think its going to last ages and £3.50 is an absolute bargain for a handmade soap.

It's a really lovely company - I love handmade products and I love that this company is a family run company and I think everyone should go and have a look ! They sell some AMAZING looking bon bon style bath bombs which I will be buying !

Bits and Bows SS13 Launch

I went along to the SS13 launch at Bits and Bows in the custard factory on Saturday. Bits and Bows is a handmade jewelry and clothing shop run by the lovely Sarah (Miss Bows)

I was welcomed into the shop and offered cupcakes and tea mmm.  On Saturday Birmingham was blessed with sunshine and the shop is a suntrap! It was gorgeous! The shop is lovely and decorated all pink and shabby chic and it’s filled with Sarah’s fabulous creations. There’s a comfy sofa where you can sit and look through magazines and decide what you’re going to buy whilst having a cuppa from a Cath Kidston mug

Sarah sells loads of different products like necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, hair accessories and handmade clothing. She can make so many different things like skirts, dresses and tops and measures you up so they fit perfectly and you also get to pick what fabric you want so there will be no two items the same! I ordered a midi skirt in a lovely tie dye fabric - it's great because i'm short I got measured by Sarah so the skirt will fit me perfectly - I'm so excited to get it and will show you lot !
Have a look at Sarah's Facebook She has LOADS of fabrics on there for you to choose from.

The day was really fun! Rosie and Hollie were doing nails and eyelashes making the day a really nice girly day out! The girls were all having an amazing time getting their nails done by Rosie and then their eyelashes done by Hollie and then into the shop to buy some jewelry from Sarah!

I had such a good day and got to chat to everyone and took loads of photos! Sarah was amazing and really can’t wait to see her again when I go to pick up my skirt she’s making for me ;) Visit the Bits and Bows website and see what Sarah has to offer and then make an appointment to see her in store because there’s a lot more stuff in the shop like rose headbands by Crown And Glory and bows made by @Beauxoxo
