BEAUTY: MY TOP AUTUMN MAKE UP

It's time to spruce up your make up and add in those key Autumn bits. These are a few new bits i've picked up recently for the Autumn and some firm favourites.

First up! Have you seen my new babies, thats right i'm talking about my new Spectrum make up brushes.* They are absolutely gorgeous!!! I've mentioned them already on the blog here so check that out. I love them though, and as you can see they are perfect for any flat lay, they are so pretty with their gold handles !!

My new Morphe Brushes eyeshadow palette is another new addition to my collection. It was a birthday gift from my Sister and i've been using it so much! It's perfect, there's such an amazing range of shades and they are amazing quality. This is the 35T palette and you get a nice selection of shimmers and matte shades. The Morphe palettes are a bargain and such amazing quality!!

Kat Von D has just made her beauty debut to the UK so I had to get a couple of bits with my birthday money. I ordered online via Debenhams and had them delivered into store which was very easy and they arrived the next day. I am so so happy with my picks. The liquid lipstick in Lolita is perfection ! It's such a gorgeous shade and the finish is lovely, it's a creamy consistency and it dries so fast and not cakey. It's a little drying but you find that with most liquid lipsticks. I also got the Lock It creme concealer which is a really good concealer and I will be buying it again. It brightens the eye area and covers dark circles really well, it lasts well and isn't cakey. I really want to order a few more Kat Von D bits, what shall I order?

Nars Sheer Glow is one of my favourite foundations so I picked one up with my birthday money, even went all out and got a pump. I've been applying it with my Real Techniques sponge for a light everyday coverage. It's a lovely glowey finish and I really love it.

Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon in Bronzed Garnet is a perfect autumnal shade. It's a rich red, berry shade which looks stunning all over the eye. The Colour Chameleon pencils are so easy to use and they blend out well. I want to add a few more to my collection.

I thought i'd mention this cute little Lord and Berry blusher* in peach that i've been using recently just to add a slight pop of colour to the cheeks. It's a lovely buildable finish such a pretty colour, i've been wearing alot of bronzer throughout the summer so this is slightly more subtle.

A firm favourite of mine is Mac eyeshadow in Expensive Pink, I always tend to whip it out in the Autumn as it's a gorgeous red/ pink which gold shimmer and is lovely all over the lid. It's another easy but effective shade for the season.

I thought i'd mention my new favourite brow product. The NYX Tame and Frame is amazing! I've been running low on my Anastasia brow pomade for a while and i've been on the lookout for a uk alternative as Anastasia hasn't come to the UK yet. This NYX pomade is incredible, i've struggled to find it in my local boots but managed to find one. I've gone for the shade Brunette and it's perfect as I have my brows quite dark to match my roots, you can get it online from Boots.

I'm loving my new autumn make up picks! Have you got any recommendations of products I need to add to my collection. I have just picked up the new Urban Decay Matte Basics Palette which is lovely, i've been using it so much so you can expect a full review soon.

BEAUTY: SPECTRUM BRUSHES - MARBLEOUS SCULPT SET

If you haven't heard of Spectrum Brushes where have you been? I've been a huge fan of Spectrum Brushes for a few years now. They are my absolute favourite brushes and I have quite a few in my collection. They have lots of different sets and amazing colours to choose from.

The quality of the brushes are so good, i've had some of brushes for years and washed them so so many times and they are good as new. I use them loads and have never had any issues with them.
I find the finish you get is amazing, the bristles are so soft and blend so well. I love the eyeshadow brushes, I have so many in my collection and I use them every single day.

This is one of their latest collections, the Marbleous set. I have the Sculpt set* and they also do the Smoke set which is a set of amazing eyeshadow brushes or you can get the whole 12 piece set. The handle is a gorgeous white shade with rose gold detailing and the most gorgeous grey and white bristles, they are just such beautiful brushes.

The Sculpt Collection includes 5 amazing brushes including A00 which is the new Luxe Powder brush, It's so soft and the head is bigger than the other powder brushes.

The Luxe Tapered Sculptor brush C07 is perfect for applying highlighter or setting powder under the eye.

A02 is a new angled foundation brush, I really like an angled brush foundation brush and think you can buff products into the skin really easily.

c02 is a flat contour brush, it's the perfect brush to get that perfect contour. Use your darker products with this brush so your powder / liquid contour and buff in for that bronzed look.

A05 is a precision brush, use this to blend out your products for a flawless finish. I will probably use this as a bronzer / blusher brush too!

All of the brushes are gorgeous and such lovely quality, I am going to order the Marbleous Smoke set next week with my birthday money as they are such gorgeous brushes. Have you tried Spectrum Brushes before?

BEAUTY: MY FAVOURITE MAKE UP BRUSHES

from left to right: Ecotools Brush Multitasking brush , Real Techniques Bold Metals Tapered Blush,  Spectrum powder brush, spectrum blending friend, Real Techniques Bold Metals pointed crease, Real Techniques blusher brush, Real Techniques blending brush.

I thought i'd share some of my favourite make up brushes with you, since I started using make up brushes i've noticed a huge difference in my make up and it looks so much better. I have always stuck to high street brushes and don't really use any high end make up brushes. My favourite brush for foundation is this EcoTools brush, the bristles are not really close and are really light so you get a lovely light, natural finish. You can use this brush for blusher, bronzer and powder not just foundation. I use the Bold Metals Collection by Real Techniques Tapered Blush for my concealer, and highlight. I tend to use it to blend my concealer as its a lovely buffing kind of brush and it buffs out your concealer so it's perfect. It's a little big for the inner eye but I love it for under the eye. I've just started using the Becca highlighter, you can read my review here. I've found this brush is perfect for applying highlighter to the cheekbones. The Real Techniques pointed crease brush from the Bold Metals collection is such a good little brush, amazing if you struggle with a smokey eye as it makes working product into the crease so so easy. Another eyeshadow brush that I love is the Spectrum blending brush, I love using it to blend eyeshadow out for a more subtle smokey eye.  The Real Techniques brushes are such a good value for money, i've had this eyeshadow buffing brush and Blusher brush for years. They have been washed so many times are are still my favourites and are in such good condition.

I love my brush collection, I use alot of Spectrum eyeshadow brushes and have a some more Real Technique brushes and EcoTools in my collection. I have looked into buying new brushes a few times, I like the look of Crown Brushes and Sigma brushes but now i'm happy with my trusty old high street faves.

What are your favourite make up brushes ? Have you tried any from Crown or Sigma and would you recommend?

REVIEW: SPECTRUM COLLECTIONS BRUSHES

I recently realised that I haven't reviewed my spectrum make up brushes on my blog so I thought i'd let you guys know what I think of them. I picked these up at the Clothes Show in Birmingham back in December so I have been using them for a while and have washed them loads aswell.

Spectrum Collections are a Vegan and Crulety free brand who specialise in make up brushes such as these! Obviously the first thing you notice is the colour. They are amazing! Such a cute pink handle with bright blue/purple bristles. They stand out against all of my other make up brushes and they are so unique.

First up is the Flat Top Buffer Brush which is a great brush for any base. The buffer brush allows you to apply a product and work it into the skin, you can buff it creating a really good even finish. I like to use this brush for contouring aswell. The bristles are really soft and gentle and don't irritate my skin. At only £8.99* this brush is a bargain.

Next is the oval concealer brush which I actually use for eyeshadow. The bristles allow flawless application of concealer and the rounded shape of the brush makes it really easy to apply and blend concealer. I actually use a the Spectrum concealer buffing brush and this Real Techniques brush for my concealer. I find the oval concealer brush works well at applying eyeshadow into the crease of my eyelid and then I use a buffing brush to blend in the product. The Oval concealer brush is also really good with cream eyeshadows or with my Nars Dual Intensity eyeshadow when I add water for a more stronger colour payoff.

I love the buffing concealer brush. It's create for blending in concealer under the eye. It blurs the product creating a flawless look. Its really easy to use and the soft bristles are really sensitive around the eye area. I think £4.99 is such an amazing price for such a good brush.

Finally the Large Fluffy Shader is one of my favourite brushes, I use it everyday ! I use it to blend in my eyeshadow. It makes applying your eyeshadow base really easy but I prefer to use it to blend. I tend to use it clean and use it to work into my base colour and then using the Oval concealer brush I apply my darker shade into the crease and then use the fluffy shader to blend the colours together.

*I bought the 3 eye brushes at the Clothes Show. I was Gifted the Buffer brush by the Spectrum Collections team at the Clothes Show. The above review is truthful and my own words and opinions. I have not been paid for this post

CLOTHES SHOW SHOW 2014

I went to the Clothes Show today, i've been quite a few times before. For the last few years i've been offered a press pass. I went along and was really excited because there was lots of really exciting brands there.
I had a wonder around the market halls, I was excited to see Flamingo Candles, Public Desire and Spectrum Collections. There was so many great brands there such as Models Own, Ciate, Barry M, Nip and Fab, ProBlow and many more. The brands have such amazing offers and products available at the Clothes Show.
I then went to watch The Alcatel One Touch Fashion Theatre to watch the fashion show. The fashion show is always so good. There was some really good choreography and some amazing clothes!
The music was really good, as usual, there was loads of really great routines.
Overall, I had a really amazing day, I got to speak to loads of brands and built some great relationships with some really great brands. I also got to find out about new and upcoming brands that i've never heard of before which was really exciting.
