INTERIOR: HOW TO MAKE YOUR BEDROOM COSY FOR WINTER

It's getting so chilly right here in the UK so I thought i'd put together some tips on how to make your bedroom cosy. There's some really easy ways you can create a warm, cosy space so i'm going to share a few right now with you.

It's starting to get darker quicker so get yourself some fairy lights, I got mine from Primark and hang them on your bed or around your dressing table or window. This just adds a little bit of light for those dark evenings when you don't really want to switch your big light or lamp on. Fairy lights make a room so cute and cosy. I also light some candles, you can get some really amazing scents in the run up to Christmas like this Christmas candle by Neom, light these around the room again for a warm, cosy feel. I like to make myself a big mug of hot chocolate with cream and marshmellows and snuggle up in my bed and read a good book for a cosy evening in. Isn't this penguin mug from Primark so cute! Invest in your bed and mattress . By getting yourself a decent bed and mattress you will get a much better sleep. There's so many different types of Mattress to choose from, from Pocket Sprung to Memory Foam so it's worth doing your research and finding the perfect one for you. Sticking with beds, I tend to stock up on a few throws, when it gets cold its nice to have a throw at the bottom of the bed to keep your feet warm. This tartan print one from M&S is gorgeous and looks really nice and snug, perfect for the winter season. I picked up a few Christmas/ Wintery cushions last year so i'll be getting these out and popping them onto the bed again. This Follow your dreams one from Dunelm is so cute!

These are just a few little tips on how to make your room warm, snug and cosy for the winter. I hope you like them, how do you make your room cosy?

LIFESTYLE: HOME INSPIRATION

OFFICE - One of the most exciting things about moving out is going to be having my own office space. I will either have a desk area in my living room but hopefully we will have a spare room that I can us as my office / overflow wardrobe space.

I really want the house or flat to be clean and white washed. I want lots of art / prints around the place and lots of mint and grey theme running thoughout.

LIVING ROOM - Again the living room is going to follow the white, grey and black trend which will hopefully run throughout. I do want to have some pops of colour in the living room but I think I will use cushions, accessories and prints to incorporate some colour. I really want a grey sofa.

BATHROOM - You can't really do much to your bathroom when your renting but I want to add some nice touches to make it feel more luxurious. Were going to need some decent storage for the bathroom so send over any ideas.

BEDROOM- For me the bedroom needs to be clean and cosy. I want a nice warm bedroom where I can go to relax. I want a nice white bed frame. I want lots of monochrome and cushions and blankets everywhere. I will have my dressing table and a big mirror - two things every beauty and fashion blogger needs in their bedroom.

REVIEW: GORDON CASTLE THE ORANGERY

I love candles I have so many in my collection!  I love this new addition from Gordon Castle. The packaging is just so sleek and modern and very simplistic. It fits in really well in my room.
This candle is called The Orangery and from the name you could have guessed its an orange scented candle. The scent is strong but not overwhelming, its quite a nice subtle scent. I think the orange scent is a really nice friendly fragrance, and leaves the room smelling clean. The candle retails at £24* which I think is reasonable for a luxury candle. The box it comes in is quite nice aswell so it would make a nice gift for someone.

The Gordon Castle candles come in a range of scents including Herb Garden and Flower Garden. Gordon Castle also sell a range of other products including body wash and bath oils.
