BEAUTY: LUSH EASTER 2018

With Easter coming up next week I thought i'd share a few products from the Easter collection at LUSH, I haven't used any of these products yet as I've only just had chance to photograph them but i'm super excited to try them out and thought i'd share a few bits from the collection.

First up is the Which Came First? bath bomb. It's a really big bath bomb and a gorgeous pink and yellow colour. It has a citrus scent from the lemon and grapefruit. This smells gorgeous and i'm a big fan of citrussy scents so i'm sure i'll love this one.

Next is the Here comes the sun Naked Shower Cream. I'm a big fan of the Naked shower gels, I got my first one for Christmas and I love it. They lather up really well and are just lovely and creamy. This sounds amazing, I'm a big fan of bergamont and orange scents so this sounds right up my street. Avocado oil moisturises and tangerine and sicillian oils lift the mood.

The cream egg Bubbleroon is another new product for Easter. It has a mint chocolate scent!!! I imagine the mint scent will be so refreshing.

The Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt is SUPER GLITTERY so don't buy it if you're not a fan of glitter. It has an orange and honey scent and cocoa butter and almond oils moisturise and soften the skin.

The Bunch of Carrots is one of my favourites from the Easter collection. I'm a big fan of the reusable bubble bars,I just keep them on the side of my bath and use them time after time, i'm still using a snow fairy wand from Christmas. They last ages and just a little goes a long way, you get loads of bubbles. The carrots have a citrussy scent perfect for spring.

The Carrot soap looks lovely. it has an orange scent and the fresh carrot and carrot powder refresh and brighten the skin.

I love the whole Lush Easter range, it's the perfect gift for somebody who doesn't eat Chocolate or why not treat yourself to some new refreshing and fruity products perfect for spring. I have some of the Mothers Day range to feature, It didn't arrive in time for Mothers Day but is still avaliable over on the Lush website so this will be live over the next few days.

LIFESTYLE: HOW TO DESTRESS BEFORE BED

I've been having alot of trouble sleeping recently. I'm struggling to switch off as I tend to worry about things whilst i'm trying to get to sleep. I'm trying really hard to switch off and not think about things to help get a better sleep. Here's a few tips and tricks to help you de-stress before bed.

1. Have a relaxing bath! I love soaking in a nice warm bath with a Lush bath bomb* to chill out before going to bed. I light some candles and just relax, sometimes i'll watch youtube videos as well. I'm loving all the new Lush Christmas products, check them out in my recent Lush Solihull tour blog post

2. No Phones! One of my biggest struggles is sitting on my phone for hours! I'll constantly refresh instagram and twitter and sit there for along long time just scrolling! The light from your phone actually prevents your brain from producing Melatonin which is a hormone that tells our bodies its nighttime.

3. Light a candle on the evening. This Neom Tranquility Candle * that I got from Amara is lovely! The Lavender, Sweet Basil and Jasmine are a perfect combination for that perfect sleep. They relax you and calm you for a better sleep.

4. Sleep Spray, The This Works, Deep Sleep Pillow Spray is lovely. So many people rave about it! I've been using it for a little while and i'm still struggling to sleep but I think I'm thinking about too much. It does however relax me and make me feel calm.

5. That skincare routine! There's lots of lovely products that you can use on your skin that work through the night. These usually have lavender and jasmine in which calm your skin but also smell amazing and can create a better nights sleep. The Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate* is great it has that Lavender essential oil inside which soothes irritated skin and smells lovely.

6. Read a book, I find that reading a book before bed helps me sleep. I feel I worry less about whats going on in the real world because i'm reading about something else, reading makes me feel less stressed and allows me to switch off and relax before bed.

What are your tips for De-stressing before bed? I think i've got so much going on right now because i'm still struggling to get to sleep so if you have any remedies or methods let me know.

REVIEW: EVOLVE ORGANIC BEAUTY SUPERFOOD SHINE SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER

Recently i've been using the Evolve Organic Beauty Superfood Shine Shampoo and Conditioner. I've been using it for a few weeks and thought i'd share my thoughts with you.

Evolve Beauty are a organic and natural brand, everything is handcrafted and their products are also vegan and cruelty free. They make their products in small batches to ensure the highest level of freshness.

First of all the packaging is gorgeous!! I love these bottles and think they look lovely on the side of the bath and I think the pump is handy too. They are very instagramable bottles!

My hair is very dry and damaged right now, I could really do with a hair cut and treatment but I found this shampoo and conditioner nourished and hydrated my hair so much. I hair feels really soft and smooth and i've found it more manageable and less frizzy.

The smell is lovely, it's a really natural scent. It's almost therapeutic the scent, it reminds me of a spa / massage oil smell which is so nice when your chilling out in the bath with some candles and a face mask.

I think the bottles are a really decent size and would last a while, mine are still going and i've been using them loads. Evolve Beauty have so many different hair care products and also have lots of other products including a body range and skincare.

BEAUTY : REVIEW LEE STAFFORD COCO LOCO RANGE

Lee Stafford Coco Loco Range available now at Boots

I have to say i'm a huge Lee Stafford fan, I use the Bleach Blondes range as it's the best at keeping those brassy tones away! I have bleached the ends of my hair so I used to struggle to keep those brassy tones away but not since I started using the Bleach Blondes range, I love the whole bleach blondes collection, the Hot Shotz and correcting conditioning spray are must haves if you find those brassy tones make a come back! Anyway this review is about the Coco Loco range, you can check out my reviews of the Bleach Blondes range here

I found my hair had gone quite dry and damaged, I knew I needed to get some hydration into my hair. The Coco Loco range by Lee Stafford contains Coconut Oil which is a natural nutrient and provides the essential proteins for nourishing and repairing damaged hair. So i've been giving the range a try and I have to say my hair is feeling so so much better.

I love the Shampoo and Conditioner they are so easy to use and smell amazing! I absolutely love Coconut scented products. My hair feels really lovely and clean when I use the shampoo, I tend to rinse and repeat with the shampoo to make sure I get all the dry shampoo and other products out my hair. Then I follow with the conditioner which is really lovely and hydrating.

The Coconut mask is lovely, I like to jump into a hot lush bath with candles and wack a load of this on my hair and just lie there for ages letting the mask get to work on my hair. I only really put it on my ends as this is where my hair is dry and damaged. My hair always feels really soft and shiny after i've used the mask.

The Coconut Spritz is a nice product to use, you can apply it onto towel dried hair to condition and detangle hair which I think works really well. It makes my hair shiny and and smooth and stops it drying so frizzy. You can also spritz this into the hair throughout the day to refresh your hair.

The Blow and Go genius lotion improves your hair in every way possible, your hair will be softer, shinier, sleeker, smoother, stronger and conditioned. You just apply to towel dried hair and style as normal. It makes your hair so much easier to style and locks in that moisture so your hair looks smoother and stronger for longer.

Finally the Coconut Balm, this is just like Coconut Oil, it's a solid product that melts in your hand and you can apply it to the ends of your hair to keep your hair protected and smooth.

The whole range is amazing, if your hair is feeling dull and damaged you need to get your hands on some of these products. Selected Lee Stafford products are on 2 for £10 right now at Boots so take advantage of an amazing offer and give the range ago! They are really afforable products and leave your hair feeling like you've been to the salon.

GIFT GUIDE: VALENTINES GIFT IDEAS

Valentines is less than two weeks away now! If you don't celebrate Valentines, whether you don't believe in the holiday or you don't have a partner and would rather ignore the fact Valentines is fast approaching you can do two things, ignore this post or have a little read you might spot some goodies that you can totally buy for youself.

I think shopping for a Valentines present can be a little tricky as it just creeps up and we're all just getting over Christmas. Me and Clint usually set a budget and give each other hints of what we might want.

I always think lingerie is a good gift for Valentines, providing you know your partners bra size. It's always good to pick out something you like rather than going for what they always tend to go for because that way it shows you've put thought into it and they might end up loving something new and different. This set from Freya is gorgeous, it's called Hero! It's a lovely pink shade which is just gorgeous for Valentines. Hero is a plunge style bra with side support, I think the coverage in the cups is really good so this would be a good everyday bra. It's chilly out there and i'm still tucked up in jumpers so who cares if my bra is pink! It's so comfy, I love Freya bras, they are so lovely. I have the brief but this style also comes with a thong and a short, I think I will be picking the thong up so i've got a couple of matching pairs. Check out the Freya website as they have lots more styles to choose from I really like the Icon style and the matching thong, I've already dropped a little hint to Clint.

If your after something a little more affordable there are some lovely lip products out there at the moment, these Burts Bee's Lip Crayons are gorgeous! They come in a selection of shades and are so creamy but have a matte finish. They are only £8.99 each and you can get them from loads of different places like boots, department stores and Marks and Spencer.

These Balmi Lip Balms are really handy too, they are only £4.99 and again you can get them from loads of different stores like boots and Superdrug.

This I Love Pink Marshmallow Bath and Shower Creme is sooo good, it smells amazing! It's a really lovely gift idea, you could pick up a selection of the I Love .. products and some of the lip products from above and make a little pamper gift set.

If you like the idea of putting together a little pamper set then you need to head to Lush because no pamper set is complete without some bath bombs and bubble bars. The Valentines collection from Lush is amazing!! I'm loving the Unicorn Horn Bubble bar and the Lover Lamp bath bomb, Lush also have a selection of Valentines Gift sets which are another fab Gift Idea!

BEAUTY: LUSH HAUL

HELLO! So I went to London over the weekend to watch Matilda and couldn't help myself when I spotted a huge LUSH on oxford street. I was so overwhelmed by everything, there is 3 floors of LUSH goodness and they have a LUSH spa on the bottom floor. I headed upstairs to find the bubble bars and bath bombs. I had heard there are some exclusives to the Oxford Street store so I hunted for them and I wanted to pick up a few of the Valentines bits and pieces.

I haven't used any of them just yet but I thought i'd show you what I picked up so you can head on over to the website or to your local store and check these bad boys out!

Unicorn Horn is one of the Valentines Bubble Bars, I remember this one from last year, Lover Lamp is a newbie for the Valentines collection. It's a bath bomb which smells of vanilla and orange and the love hearts contains cocoa butter.

Intergalactic is one of my favourites, its just a pretty bath bomb and your bath will look AMAZING, this is a very instagrammable bath! And so is the Experimenter, another really cool bath bomb. Your bath will look so good! These are great for the kids!

My favourite product right now is my Rose Jam shower gel which I should have stocked up on so i've been buying these Rose Jam Bubbleroons because they smell so good!

Now on to the Lush Oxford Street Exclusives theres Cyanide Pill which is the yellow and white pill looking bath bomb, it smells like Cyanide, a bitter Almond scent.

Theres also Sacred Lotus bath bomb which has hints of Neroli and Jasmine.  Flowering Tea resuable bubble bar is one of my favourites because it looks like a teabag this is a zesty scent.

I hope you like my picks and if your ever in London I would recommend a visit to the Oxford Street store to check out those exclusives. The staff are great! I had really great service from Lotti who helped me find the Exclusives and was really lovely, ( hope you enjoy your holiday next week) and great service from Alika on the tills aswell.

REVIEW: RITUALS HIMALAYA WISDOM SCRUB SALT

RITUALS HIMALAYA WISDOM SCRUB SALT- £16*- RITUALS

Rituals is one of my favourite brands, i'm always very happy with their product. I am yet to try a product I don't like. The brand has produced some very high quality products. I have tried many products from moisturisers, body scrubs and shower gels and all have been great.

I've been using this salt scrub in the shower quite alot recently. It smells amazing! Very fresh and clean. I have used a few different salt scrubs before but this has been my favourite. I find it dissolves very easily and feels like its actually cleaning my skin.

The salt scrub leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh and its very easy to use. I have been using this for a few weeks now and my pot is still very full, you don't need to use loads of this product.

I find using my hands easy to apply the product and then I use a scrunchie to lather.

I'm gutted as my local Rituals store has closed down however Rituals is now stocked across most department stores.
