Topshop Highlighter in Crescent Moon

Topshop Highlighter £10
 Topshop Nail Polish - £6

The other day I picked up the Topshop highlighter and this pretty pink nail polish. I really wanted to start using highlighter and have looked at the Topshop one before. I think the Topshop make up brand is good but I've only really used eye and lip products not face products. I picked it up anyway and paid £9 with student discount which compared to the Benefit Watts Up Highlighter at £23.50 is nothing. The Packaging is gorgeous - the only issue is its white and its not going to be white for long! I'm keeping it in the box at the moment but we all know that doesn't last long. The actual highlighter is good, I've been using a foundation brush to apply it under my brow, down the center of my face and then using it to define my cheeks along with my blush. You can only really see it in certain lights but thats the point of highlighter to highlight these areas. I really like the product and have used it everyday since I bought it, the only negative is it has NO MIRROR ! I know this isn't a major issue it's just not ideal if you wanted to apply this quickly and you didn't have a mirror handy.. I'm really glad I bought it and really want to give more Topshop make up ago.

The nail polish is called powder. Its a baby pink with a little bit of shimmer in it. I would prefer for it to be abit more shimmery but its a nice neutral shade for when you don't want much colour on your nails. This is the first Topshop nail polish i've used and I love the brush and the handle size because its really easy to use. I used about 3 coats of this but it is a light shade. I really liked the colour and I picked it off so can't really say how long it lasts but it stayed on for a couple of days without any chips.I really like the packaging again and can't wait to buy some more Topshop polishes. I do think the topshop polishes are abit pricey this is a shimmery one so was £6 but the standard shades retail at £5 and thats for 8ml but the models own polishes are £5 for 15ml. Would you spend your money on the Topshop polishes or Models own ?

Have you tried any Topshop Make up ?

Model Own and Barry M swatches

Barry M; Prickly Pear; Watermelon Models Own; Clothes show exclusive - Show stopper, Juicy Jules &Pearly Queen.
I picked up these polishes at the clothes show and I couldn't wait to try them out
I've never used the Barry M Gelly polishes and really wanted to try them out. I've been wearing the Prickly Pear shade all week. I love lilac nail polish so I was so happy when I found the did it in a lilac shade. The actual polish is really nice and goes on the nail nicely you don't have to put loads of coats on. I will be picking up some more colours of the gelly range. It also dries really quickly.
The models own Clothes Show Exclusive was something I really wanted to pick up and I actually forgot about it when I was actually at the clothes show but I just so happened to pick it up, I liked the colour and that it was glittery and didn't even notice until I was doing this post that it was the clothes show exclusive. I've been wearing this with the lilac and its a really nice combo.
I liked the look of Juicy jules as i don't have any just silver glitter polishes and the pearly queen is a nice shade and I think with a glittery polish on it will be lovely for those christmas parties.

REVIEW: cheeky pink

models own cheeky pink powder blusher £6
collection lasting colour lipstick shade 8 sweet tart £2.99

i picked up the models own blusher because ive prevously been using no 7 loose powder blush and i really liked it however i wanted to try something new the models own blusher is a powder blush and its a nice bright pink colour which is what ive been using recently. the consistency is nice and it applys nice with my blusher/bronzer brush. Its not clear in the picture but it does have a little bit of shimmer in to. i think its abit like benefit coralista although its a little less orange. i think for £6 this is a really good product and may use it again.

the lipstick is a really bright pink i've been looking at lipsticks alot recently because i really want to buy a ysl lippy but i really cannot justify the price so i keep picking cheap lipsticks up and i will continue to until i decide whether to buy a more pricy lipstick .

this collection lipstick was £2.99! and its a lovely bright colour, its rather moisturising and it stays on for ages, i dont really like the packaging but its £2.99 and i would really recommend it !! its such a cute pink aswell :)

have you tried any of these products if so what do you think?
