WHAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS

Hello 2017

I haven't blogged for a little while as I took a break from blogging over the holidays as I was working and spending time with the family. I'm back now and have lots of ideas for 2017.
I thought i'd show you guys what I got for Christmas, I don't want this to appear braggy I just like these types of posts and videos and thought you may want to see what I got.

First up can we talk about these make up brushes, They are by Zoeva and they came in this cute pouch and they are this gorgeous blush pink colour with rose gold hardwear. I love them so so much, these were a gift from my sister.

I actually bought the Olivia Burton watch in the sales from John Lewis, It was only £40 which is a bargain and I used my Christmas money to get this.

Next I got alot of perfume for Christmas, I had asked for perfume as I have run out of all my faves. My mom and dad got me Victor and Rolf Bon Bon, I love it so much! Clint bought me my favourite Ysl Black Opium and Clint's parents got me two bottles of Ari by Arianna Grande and also a John Paul Gaultier gift set ( which I forgot to photograph)

How cute is this little to do list pad, I always make lists and this is just so perfect!

I did really well for Candles and Reed Diffusers.
I got two Neom candles from Clint, Tranquility is my fave and i'm excited to try the happiness scent.
I also got Gingerbread Village diffuser from Clint which is from the Zoella Lifestyle range and my mom picked me up this Black Rose and Vanilla scent from Primark. I also got a Salted Caramel candle from Clints Brother which smells so good!

This little dish with gold hearts and a gold A is gorgeous and also from Clints brother. I've popped this on my dressing table for my rings.

I got lots of Liz Earle goodies too, Clint got me two of the Christmas cleanse and polish gift sets, he got me the orange scented one which i'm so excited to try!
My mom also got me some goodies she got me the Pink pepper and mint cleanse and polish, a toner, the eye lotion and a hand wash.

I picked up this Oskia Cleansing gel in the Space NK sale, I also got a Laura Mercier Mascara and liner set which were both half price.

I love my new Zoella lifestyle pad which contains lots of note paper and sticky notes, Clint got me this!

Finally Clint picked me up some Lush goodies, he knew I would get some in the Sale so he didn't go crazy but he knows I love my bathbombs!!

I am so happy and grateful for all the lovely presents we got for Christmas.
What did you get for Christmas?

REVIEW: YSL PALETTE FROM DIRECT COSMETICS

VERY YSL PALETTE- £29.99* - DIRECT COSMETICS

This cute little travel size palette is available now at Direct Cosmetics, inside there are 4 eye shadows, 2 lip colours and 1 blusher. It's such a handy palette because everything you need is inside.

The eyeshadow's enable you to create so many different looks, and you could easily create the perfect smokey eye using these shades.

The pinks and purples in this palette make it a very spring/ summer palette so it's perfect and as I mentioned it would be perfect if your going on holiday or traveling.

The pigments of the shadows are really good, they are all quite shimmery. I have swatched the eyeshadows below however this is without a primer, with a primer you get a much better colour payoff.

The lip colours are so versatile and can create different looks. The lighter shade is perfect for everyday and if you use the pinks and purples you can get a light, natural look. The darker pink is less natural but still perfect for both day and night, its a very versatile shade.

The blusher is perfect and would work on all skin types / colourings. I would personally wear a more pink shade but this is a nice light natural pink which just adds a slight bit of colour to my cheeks.

Overall this is a great little palette perfect if your travelling or packing light. I love the packaging, the pink leather is gorgeous and the palette resembles a phone case which is a cute touch.

AUTUMN / WINTER 14 MAKE UP

I wanted to share some of the make up I am using this Autumn/ Winter, I tend to stick to my Urban Decay Naked Palette so i'm trying to use some of the other bits and pieces I own. I love these Clarins Ombre Matte Cream to powder eyeshadows*, they are really easy to use and I love these natural colours. My favourite eyeshadow right now is my Nars Dual Intensity eyeshadow in Callisto, it an amazing pink shimmery shade.
I've decided to get some use out of this Make Up Revolution palette* and I've been creating some lovely smokey eye looks for everyday looks. I've been using the Eyeliner felt and Kohl* which is really easy to use and creates a lovely smokey eye alongside the palette.

The Collection brow pallete is a recent repurchase. I'm still using my old one and its lasted me ages! I've recently bought the Rimmel Brow This Way Styling Gel which i've been using with my old kit as there's lots of powder left.

I'm loving this Barry M Loud Mouth Liquid Lip Colour in Diva*, It's such a autumny shade like a dark berry colour such a bargain at £3.99

I'm loving my YSL Fusion Ink Foundation this season, this is another product i've repurchased. I love the light texture but full coverage of this foundation. It's perfect for this season as i'm after a natural base finish. I've been using this with Clarins Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base which is fab for covering blemishes. I'm also loving the Clarins True Radiance Foundation* which is a thicker finish so great when you want a thicker base. I'm struggling with my skin right now, I keep breaking out, I think its a mixture of stress and the weather but True Radiance has great coverage and is perfect for hydrating and correcting the skin.

*this blog post contains PR Samples however is a truthful review, all opinions are my own.
