INTERIOR: HOW TO MAKE YOUR BEDROOM COSY FOR WINTER
10 November 2016
It's getting so chilly right here in the UK so I thought i'd put together some tips on how to make your bedroom cosy. There's some really easy ways you can create a warm, cosy space so i'm going to share a few right now with you.
It's starting to get darker quicker so get yourself some fairy lights, I got mine from Primark and hang them on your bed or around your dressing table or window. This just adds a little bit of light for those dark evenings when you don't really want to switch your big light or lamp on. Fairy lights make a room so cute and cosy. I also light some candles, you can get some really amazing scents in the run up to Christmas like this Christmas candle by Neom, light these around the room again for a warm, cosy feel. I like to make myself a big mug of hot chocolate with cream and marshmellows and snuggle up in my bed and read a good book for a cosy evening in. Isn't this penguin mug from Primark so cute! Invest in your bed and mattress . By getting yourself a decent bed and mattress you will get a much better sleep. There's so many different types of Mattress to choose from, from Pocket Sprung to Memory Foam so it's worth doing your research and finding the perfect one for you. Sticking with beds, I tend to stock up on a few throws, when it gets cold its nice to have a throw at the bottom of the bed to keep your feet warm. This tartan print one from M&S is gorgeous and looks really nice and snug, perfect for the winter season. I picked up a few Christmas/ Wintery cushions last year so i'll be getting these out and popping them onto the bed again. This Follow your dreams one from Dunelm is so cute!
These are just a few little tips on how to make your room warm, snug and cosy for the winter. I hope you like them, how do you make your room cosy?

FASHION: AUTUMN/ WINTER WISHLIST
3 October 2016
It's officially Autumn ! I thought i'd share my wishlist. There's some really gorgeous pieces out there at the moment. I'm loving Khaki right now so you can see there is a few khaki items in my wishlist. The khaki jumper is a bargain at £9.99 from New Look and you can team it with so many different outfits, black skirt, jeans or a cord skirt for a perfect autumn outfit idea. I really like this cold shoulder shirt too, it's available in a few colours. I think it would look great with some leggings as a transitional piece. How cute are these Clarks boots from Brantano, I love tan ankle boots in the winter, you can wear them with everything, a little black dress and tights or with a pair of skinny jeans and your favourite jumper. These look so cosy and comfy and would be perfect for work. I love these brushes from Spectrum, I have lots of spectrum brushes in my collection but these are beautiful. A must have for any beauty lover. They come in this awesome bag as well!! This cosy hat and scarf are both from H&M, it's getting much colder now especially in the mornings. I have a new coat for the winter but need to pick myself up a new hat and scarf, this scarf from H&M is only £7.99 and looks so good!! It's so so soft and will look amazing with my new coat. This embroidered bag is from new look and a perfect on trend item. Embroidered patches are really on trend right now, they are all over the high street. I've spotted some really cute jackets and this shirt from New Look is gorgeous. I went into Swarovski the other day for the first time and fell in love with so many things. These earrings and this stack ring is just a couple of things that caught my eye. And finally, the whole Zoella Lifestyle range is on my wish list, I just want everything but I have so many candles and diffusers already, the whole range is beautiful and I see myself picking up a few bits as i've spotted the range in my local Boots and Superdrug.
