[AD GIFTED] FATHERS DAY GIFT IDEAS FROM MOONPIG

Fathers day is on the 21st June 2020

With Fathers Day just around the corner I thought i'd share a few of my favourite picks from Moonpig as they have a really good range of gifts right now. They have a really good selection of cards too so you can buy your gift and card from the same place and even have it delivered straight to your dad in time for the big day without getting out of bed! This is great during the strange times, the shops are a little crazy right now so at least by shopping online with Moonpig it reduces the amount of time you need to spend at the shops.

I picked out a few bits and got this super cute card from Amelia for Clint, I love that you can get personalised cards on Moonpig, they are just so thoughtful.

The first gift I picked out was this really cool Beer Hawk Cheers Dad gift set which is the perfect gift for any beer drinking Dad. Clint is really into his craft beers and IPA's at the moment and we haven't tried any from Beer Hawk so this was perfect chance to give them a try. This gift set includes a selection of beers and comes with a glass and some snacks. This set was £25 but they have a few different beer gift sets depending on your budget.

Next I picked out this 100 Movies scratch off poster as Clint is a really big film fan and has watched SOOO many films so I thought this would be really fun for him to go through and scratch off any films he's watched and then we can try watching the ones that are left.

Finally I picked out this cool Jelly Bean Bean boozled game as he loves Jelly Beans and this sounded fun. I though it was a nice little gift idea.

Moonpig have a really good selection of cards and gifts that are perfect for Fathers Day. They have a great selection so there's something for every Dad. They even have experience days so why not treat your dad to a fab day out when everything is back to normal! It would be so nice for him to have something to look forward to. What are you going to pick out for you Dad this Fathers Day?

CHRISTMAS: BEAUTY GIFT IDEAS FOR HER

It's Christmas!!! Christmas is nearly here so i've put together a few gift ideas. I will have a few gift guides going up on the blog over the next few days so keep your eyes peeled for those. Today's post is gift ideas for the beauty lover in your life.

Mad Beauty have a really good selection of gifts perfect for the festive season. I thought i'd include this advent calender in my gift guide as you get lots of different gifts inside. I think this would be a really cute gift for a younger sister or friend. Be sure to check out Mad Beauty as they have loads of really cute gifts over on their website. They also stock lots of Disney goodies and they're products are a really affordable.

Next is this gift set by Evolve, they are an organic beauty brand. The set includes their best selling Hyaluronic Serum and Radiant Glow Mask. I really like the packaging and think this is a lovely gift set for someone who loves their skincare. Evolve beauty is a lovely brand, i've used their products before.

I love LUSH and I always get lots of Lush goodies for Christmas, I think they are a great gift idea. Everyone loves abit of Lush, it's a great gift idea for him or her. Lush have a huge selection of gifts, i'm actually going to do a separate blog post of a few of the Christmas Gift Sets that Lush have to offer this year. I thought i'd include the Little Snow Fairy gift set as it's one of the smaller sets, it's really afforable at £11.50 and contains two products, a 100ml bottle of Snow Fairy Shower Gel and one of the new Snow Fairy Jelly Bomb.

This Mandara Spa Lip Butter Trio is only £4.50 so really affordable, you can pick one up from Sainsburys I think this would be a fab stocking filler or secret santa gift.

Neals Yard Remedies have lots of amazing Christmas Gifts this year. They have lots of sets that include a range of different products and vary in price. I've included these bath salts. I love the packaging, the little blue pouches and wooden scoop are lovely and would make a really nice gift. The Lavender bath salts are perfect for someone who struggles to sleep and needs to relax and unwind before bed.

Neal and Wolf have some fab Christmas gift sets to choose from. I love the Ritual Collection as it contains the Neal and Wolf Ritual Shampoo and Conditioner which is one of my favourites. I loveee the scent it's amazing. I've used a few products from the Neal and Wolf Ritual range and have really liked the products. Neal and Wolf also have a huge range of different hair care products such as this hair oil.

This Urban Veda gift set is a great way to try some of their products, they have a huge selection of products and gift sets to choose from so there is something for everyone. Check out their Christmas gift sets here and find out all about Urban Veda natural skincare. Again the sets vary in price so theres something to suit any budget.

How cute is this packaging! Bilou is a really afforable brand. They have a range of body sprays and shower foams and have some amazing scents for example, Coco Cocktail which smells like holidays and Pina Coladas, Fizzy Berry and Cotton Candy. The Coco Cocktail body spray smells so good!! I really like the packaging. I love the quirky and fun text and colours. These would be a lovely stocking filler.

I love buying people perfume and aftershave, check out my latest blog post featuring a couple of fragrances that i've picked out from Fragrance Direct. Head over to their website to browse a huge range of fragrance, it's so easy to find that perfect fragrance.

I thought i'd include these handcreams as my hands always get really dry this time of year. I love getting decent hand creams for Christmas. The Crabtree & Evelyn hand cream is really good and they have lots of different scents and sizes.

Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? What kind of gifts are you buying this year. Are there any products in my gift guide that you would gift for the beauty lover in your life?

PREGNANCY: BABY SHOWER GIFT IDEAS

My baby shower is next month so I thought i'd share a few baby shower gift ideas. I tried to think of a few things that we still need to get or things that would be useful to be gifted at our baby shower.

I think everyone tends to go for clothing as buying baby clothes is so addictive and you can't really go wrong. I have included this pack of 3 sleepsuits from Next. I love the baby clothes from Next, they are so soft and very affordable and they have some really on trend pieces.

We have been looking at Ollie the Owl since it came out a few months ago! I think it's such a good product that any parent would be happy to recieve for their newborn. Ollie the Owl is a light and sound sleep aid. With a built in cry sensor it's such a good gift idea for any expectant parent. It's suitable from birth and you can use on a cot, pushchair or carseat using the Velcro attachment.

Also from the lovely people at The Gro Company are grobags, I think alot more parents are using sleeping bags now as they are really safe. They have lots of patterns, prints and togs to choose from.
I know one of my friends is getting us a grobag for my baby shower and I think it's such a good gift idea.

How cute is this Emma Bridgewater mug, i've wanted one for ages but I have so many mugs, i'd love someone to get me the Mummy one, it's so cute. They also do personalised ones, and I think i'll have to buy bubba one with her name on as a little keepsake.

Finally, this changing mat is so gorgeous, it's from a brand called Mama Shack. I'm going to order it on payday as I love it and i'm gonna have it personalised with bubbas name, i'm super excited. It would be a lovely baby shower present. You don't have to have the babys name you can have it personalised with a quote or even the surname if you are keeping the name a secret or haven't picked one yet.

There's so much you could buy, don't just go from clothing as everyone buys clothes. Ask the momma if there's anything they need, incase they haven't bought something and you can get that for them, when your having a baby you have lots of random stuff you need to buy, i'm getting my sister her sterilizer as we're both having girls and she will more than likely get lots of clothes once my baby has grown out of them. You can get lots of personal gifts now too online like prints and blankets etc.

GIFT GUIDE: GIFT IDEAS FOR HIM

In a couple of weeks Clint and I will be celebrating our 4 year anniversary. We always get each other a gift so i've been looking at what to get him. I find Clint quite easy to shop for as he's always grateful and happy with whatever I get him, I think this year he would love the new blues top as his one from last year hasn't washed great and the sponsor is coming off, so he could do with a new one. I thought i'd share a few gift ideas incase you have a Birthday or occasion coming up and need some gift ideas.

I know Clint has been looking for a new mens trimmer and this Panasonic one looks really good. This 3 in 1 trimmer allows you to shave, trim and style. It's cordless and easy to use. You can choose from 20 different cutting lengths so you can create the perfect style for you using the different attachments and functions.

You can't really go wrong with fragrance, although some people are very fussy when it comes to scents. I find it really easy to buy aftershave for Clint and my dad, they tend to like similar things. Clints favourite is Invictus by Paco Robanne which smells so good. A few of his other favourites include, Davidoff Cool Water and any of the David Beckham aftershaves.

Next up I saw this sock subscription on notonthehighstreet.com and I think it's such a good gift idea. Clint actually really likes getting socks for his birthday or Christmas. You can choose how long they receive the subscription for, I think its a really unique and cool way to gift socks.

Clint loves a Corona and would be very happy with a few bottles of his favourite beer for our anniversary. We will probably order a take away and i'll get him a couple of bottles of beer and have a chilled night in, that sounds like a perfect way to spend our anniversary.

I wanted to get him a cute gift and I spotted this key ring and I thought it would be cute to get something personalised. It's so easy to personalise gifts now. I was thinking of getting the date of our anniversary printed onto the keyring ( he can't forget the date then) or I thought getting our babies due date would be really cute, I could either put her name or we've been calling her petal so it's personal to us.

I really love buying gifts for people and have really enjoyed putting this gift guide together, do you struggle to buy for the men in your life? You can see my fathers day gift guide here for even more gift ideas for the men in your life.

WHAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS

Hello 2017

I haven't blogged for a little while as I took a break from blogging over the holidays as I was working and spending time with the family. I'm back now and have lots of ideas for 2017.
I thought i'd show you guys what I got for Christmas, I don't want this to appear braggy I just like these types of posts and videos and thought you may want to see what I got.

First up can we talk about these make up brushes, They are by Zoeva and they came in this cute pouch and they are this gorgeous blush pink colour with rose gold hardwear. I love them so so much, these were a gift from my sister.

I actually bought the Olivia Burton watch in the sales from John Lewis, It was only £40 which is a bargain and I used my Christmas money to get this.

Next I got alot of perfume for Christmas, I had asked for perfume as I have run out of all my faves. My mom and dad got me Victor and Rolf Bon Bon, I love it so much! Clint bought me my favourite Ysl Black Opium and Clint's parents got me two bottles of Ari by Arianna Grande and also a John Paul Gaultier gift set ( which I forgot to photograph)

How cute is this little to do list pad, I always make lists and this is just so perfect!

I did really well for Candles and Reed Diffusers.
I got two Neom candles from Clint, Tranquility is my fave and i'm excited to try the happiness scent.
I also got Gingerbread Village diffuser from Clint which is from the Zoella Lifestyle range and my mom picked me up this Black Rose and Vanilla scent from Primark. I also got a Salted Caramel candle from Clints Brother which smells so good!

This little dish with gold hearts and a gold A is gorgeous and also from Clints brother. I've popped this on my dressing table for my rings.

I got lots of Liz Earle goodies too, Clint got me two of the Christmas cleanse and polish gift sets, he got me the orange scented one which i'm so excited to try!
My mom also got me some goodies she got me the Pink pepper and mint cleanse and polish, a toner, the eye lotion and a hand wash.

I picked up this Oskia Cleansing gel in the Space NK sale, I also got a Laura Mercier Mascara and liner set which were both half price.

I love my new Zoella lifestyle pad which contains lots of note paper and sticky notes, Clint got me this!

Finally Clint picked me up some Lush goodies, he knew I would get some in the Sale so he didn't go crazy but he knows I love my bathbombs!!

I am so happy and grateful for all the lovely presents we got for Christmas.
What did you get for Christmas?

CHRISTMAS: CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE FOR HIM - GADGET IDEAS

It's Christmassss! So over the next few weeks I will be featuring lots of Christmas gift ideas on my blog. I love buying presents for others especially at Christmas as I get so many different gift ideas. This is a gift guide for him with lots of techy / gadget gift ideas. My dad is such a gadgety person so I really enjoy checking out the latest tech gifts.

You can get some really cool gadgety gifts right now, most department stores tend to have a decent selection and with stores like Red5 and Mankind popping up before Christmas its so easy to go and find some really awesome gifts.

I love this little LP player, i've seen these in lots of places recently. You can find them online or i've spotted them in stores like HMV and Tiger. It's a nice gift to get someone who already has lots of Vinyls or someone who would like to start a collection.

I think an Amazon fire stick or Chromecast is a good practical gift. They are about £30 so not really expensive and it means you can easily watch shows on your tv and you can watch Netflix. I got my dad a Chromecast last year, he's since bought himself a Firestick and he uses it all the time.

I like to pick up little stocking fillers like this Star Wars Keyring, its a lovely little extra gift for someone who likes Star Wars. They do lots of little Characters, so your sure to find something for everyone.

This Electric bike from Fenetic Wellbeing is a stowaway folding electric bike so it's easy to fold up and store in the back of your car or you can easily stow it away at work, if you cycle to work. I think this would make a really cool gift idea because it's just so unique. You can ride as a standard bike or receive help from the electric motor. It's perfect for someone who wants to cycle to work as part of a healthy lifestyle but they worry they wont be able to peddle the whole way or might need a little help. And as the bike is electric it's much more economical that driving a car or getting the bus to work.  I think this would be a great gift for someone who already rides a bike and is thinking of upgrading or someone who really wants to start riding a bike but just needs some confidence.

This Smartphone projector is really cool. it uses a phone to project a film or your favourite series onto a wall. You make it yourself so you can enjoy putting this together.

I think these little tins are so cute, this one contains a multi-tool keyring and is another little stocking filler idea.

How cool is this! ITS A MAGIC WAND REMOTE CONTROL. Sorry the Harry Potter fan in me got  a little bit excited!! But I think this is brilliant! I spotted it on findmeagift.co.uk it's a tv remote that looks like a magic wand!

I thought i'd include a Fitbit because I think this would be a great gift idea for someone who's trying to live a more healthy lifestyle. I have a cheap fitness tracker and I love tracking my steps and how far i've walked each day. With a Fitbit you can also track your sleep patterns and you can compete with your friends to see who gets the most steps. This would be a fab gift for someone who's competitive.

I really enjoyed putting this gift guide together, what do you think of these gadget gift ideas?

LIFESTYLE: FATHERS DAY GIFT GUIDE

Not sure what to get your dad this Father's Day? Then your in luck because i've put this Gift Guide together to give you a few ideas. The Gift Guide products range in price and there's something for everyone!

Smellies - You can't go wrong with aftershave for your dad, they always need it and use it so if you can't thing of anything else then pick up their favourite bottle of aftershave. Ask at the counter what fragrances have been popular, I love the smell of Jean Paul Gaultier and Paco Robanne 1 million.
For a more affordable option these Lynx sets always go down well, my dad is always buying Lynx and he uses the shower gels so he appreciates the gift sets.

Shaving - Bluebeards Revenge*  have a great selection of shaving products aswell as moisturisers and hair products. Why not head on over to their website and check out the range. They have some really nice gift sets too which have lots of different products in. I love the packaging and the products are of a really high quality and they smell really nice.

Gadgets - My dad loves Gadgets, for every occasion, birthday etc he asks for a Drone, I bought him one for christmas so for Father's Day I decided to pick him up this Virtual Reality Headset which you hook up to your Iphone and you can watch 3D films and play games which seemed quite cool,  I picked these up on Iwoot.com

Another good gift idea is a portable speaker. They are so handy, I have one and we use it all the time, we bring it to the park or if were going to the beach. I bring it on holiday so we can listen to music whilst we get ready. My dad loves listening to his music and what easier way than through a bluetooth speaker from your phone, this is the Elevate Breve Bluetooth Speaker* and it's only £23.99 right now from The Inside Man  and it's so loud and a really sleek design.

If your dad is into quirky gifts or has just moved into his own place and you want to get him some cool homeware bits then check out Red Candy. I love this bicycle pizza cutter* I think it's really fun and my dad eats alot of pizza. The legless corkscrew* is also from Red Candy and is another fun addition to any bachelor pad. I also thought i'd include this crystal skull*, I think this would be fab for parties, you can put anything inside from sweets and crisps to a cocktail or you can just use it for decoration it would look fab on shelf with other cool bits and pieces.

Socks- Can you really go wrong with socks, my dad gets through them so quickly so I picked him up a nice selection to keep him going for a few months.

Food and Drink- Why not treat your dad to a meal out at his favourite restaurant, or take him for a drink.  I stocked up on some sweeties for my dad as he has a real sweet tooth.

These Fathers Day teas* from Victoria Mae designs are a cute idea aswell, they are teabags inside a handmade pouch designed by Victoria Mae. They are fun and cute little designs that would just be a nice little addition to any gift this fathers day. My dad loves a good cuppa and would really like these. Victoria Mae has a selection of different Tea gift sets for many different occasions, not just fathers day so check those out too.

Fathers Day is on the 19th June so just over a week now, I hope this gift guide has given you an idea of what to get your dad for Fathers Day. I'm looking forward to seeing my dad open his Virtual Reality headset the most.
