LIFESTYLE: WHY I LOVE E BOOKS

I've had my Kindle for years and years and it's one of the best things i've ever bought. I love reading and can read a book really fast. I'm a lover of a good thriller, I love abit romance and a happy ending. Some of my favourite books include The Girl on the Train, The Fifty Shades series, I like Sophie Kinsella books and Cecelia Ahearn.

What I love most about my Kindle is that I can keep downloading books and they are all there waiting to be read. I don't have to worry about bringing a particular book out with me or worry about how i'm going to fit those books in my bag/suitcase. I find E Books easier to read than books especially on my Kindle, it's just so easy to use. I have read E Books on my iPad too but prefer my Kindle.

Although I do love a good paperback I tend to buy Ebooks as i'm more likely to read it as i'll often have my kindle in my bag but popping a book in my bag isn't something i'll think about. I've got a new job so will be commuting, i'm so excited to read some books on my journey. I think that all authors should create Ebooks as I think i'm not alone and that people love how easy it is to download a book and read it right away. I think E Books are great for lots of other businesses too not just Authors, you can easily make an Ebook on Designrr.io They have a huge range of templates to help you create the perfect book.

I haven't read any books in a while as I don't really find the time to read now i've had Amelia but as I mentioned above i've got a new job and will be commuting so i'm going to try and read more on the train and on my break at work as reading is something I really love to do but just don't really have time to do. Send over any book recommendations, I tend to look on Amazon and WHSmith in the Ebook charts to get some ideas of books to buy or sometimes i'll ask over on twitter for recommendations.

CHRISTMAS: CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE FOR HIM - GADGET IDEAS

It's Christmassss! So over the next few weeks I will be featuring lots of Christmas gift ideas on my blog. I love buying presents for others especially at Christmas as I get so many different gift ideas. This is a gift guide for him with lots of techy / gadget gift ideas. My dad is such a gadgety person so I really enjoy checking out the latest tech gifts.

You can get some really cool gadgety gifts right now, most department stores tend to have a decent selection and with stores like Red5 and Mankind popping up before Christmas its so easy to go and find some really awesome gifts.

I love this little LP player, i've seen these in lots of places recently. You can find them online or i've spotted them in stores like HMV and Tiger. It's a nice gift to get someone who already has lots of Vinyls or someone who would like to start a collection.

I think an Amazon fire stick or Chromecast is a good practical gift. They are about £30 so not really expensive and it means you can easily watch shows on your tv and you can watch Netflix. I got my dad a Chromecast last year, he's since bought himself a Firestick and he uses it all the time.

I like to pick up little stocking fillers like this Star Wars Keyring, its a lovely little extra gift for someone who likes Star Wars. They do lots of little Characters, so your sure to find something for everyone.

This Electric bike from Fenetic Wellbeing is a stowaway folding electric bike so it's easy to fold up and store in the back of your car or you can easily stow it away at work, if you cycle to work. I think this would make a really cool gift idea because it's just so unique. You can ride as a standard bike or receive help from the electric motor. It's perfect for someone who wants to cycle to work as part of a healthy lifestyle but they worry they wont be able to peddle the whole way or might need a little help. And as the bike is electric it's much more economical that driving a car or getting the bus to work.  I think this would be a great gift for someone who already rides a bike and is thinking of upgrading or someone who really wants to start riding a bike but just needs some confidence.

This Smartphone projector is really cool. it uses a phone to project a film or your favourite series onto a wall. You make it yourself so you can enjoy putting this together.

I think these little tins are so cute, this one contains a multi-tool keyring and is another little stocking filler idea.

How cool is this! ITS A MAGIC WAND REMOTE CONTROL. Sorry the Harry Potter fan in me got  a little bit excited!! But I think this is brilliant! I spotted it on findmeagift.co.uk it's a tv remote that looks like a magic wand!

I thought i'd include a Fitbit because I think this would be a great gift idea for someone who's trying to live a more healthy lifestyle. I have a cheap fitness tracker and I love tracking my steps and how far i've walked each day. With a Fitbit you can also track your sleep patterns and you can compete with your friends to see who gets the most steps. This would be a fab gift for someone who's competitive.

I really enjoyed putting this gift guide together, what do you think of these gadget gift ideas?

How the internet changed shopping

Like many of you I love online shopping! I love the fact that I can order practically anything online and have it delivered to my house without leaving my bed. Theres no queues, no hot shops, no snotty sales assistants just you and all of those amazing online stores. Most shops now have a website and you can order most of their stock online, sometimes I find theres more online than in the shops. My local topshop is quite small, so theres always alot more choice when I have a look online. You can then have you products delivered to store for you to collect, or you can have it delivered to your house.

I'm a huge fan of asos which is an online store, they have a massive selection of fashion and its so unique and trendy. They have very up to date fashions and theres always new products on their website. They also offer free saver delivery and have some really amazing brands like Motel, Primark and French Connection that some people might not be able to get in their local area.

Here's a few Pro's and Con's when it comes down to Internet shopping!

Pro's

You can shop 24 hours a day !!
No queues or other people ;)
You can buy online and collect in store or have it delivered.
Online discounts (ebay, vouchercloud, asos marketplace)
Huge selection of fashion without walking around for hours.
Pay via paypal
Check in store stock online

Con's

You have to have the internet lol - get Virgin Media here
Don't always have your sizes.
Sometimes the sizes are weird and you have to try things on which means sending stuff back which can be a hassle.

REVIEW; nivea visage tinted moisturiser

amazon: £7.95

I bought this tinted moisturiser to try out as I do have very oily skin but this says it doesn't clog pores so i thought i'd give it a try. first of all the bottle is a whopping 75ml which for a foundation/ tinted moisturiser is alot. its a nice bottle and the packaging is nice too.
like most tinted moisturisers the application is quite runny and opaque but it does give full coverage, it smells lovely and the natural shade was really nice on myself. (i'm quite pale, tanned)
it does however state it adapts to your natual skin tone so i should image it would match most skin types.

i really like this product and if you can get your hands on it i would reccomend trying it out. i use mineral foundation but i am going to try this out and see whether my skin likes it as i might where it daily. it absorbs really quickly and makes your skin really soft.

i actually bought this product from home bargains for £1.99 so i would RUN TO YOUR NEAREST NOW! because for the money this is an absolute steal, but if you dont live by a home bargains its available on amazon.
