How the internet changed shopping

Like many of you I love online shopping! I love the fact that I can order practically anything online and have it delivered to my house without leaving my bed. Theres no queues, no hot shops, no snotty sales assistants just you and all of those amazing online stores. Most shops now have a website and you can order most of their stock online, sometimes I find theres more online than in the shops. My local topshop is quite small, so theres always alot more choice when I have a look online. You can then have you products delivered to store for you to collect, or you can have it delivered to your house.

I'm a huge fan of asos which is an online store, they have a massive selection of fashion and its so unique and trendy. They have very up to date fashions and theres always new products on their website. They also offer free saver delivery and have some really amazing brands like Motel, Primark and French Connection that some people might not be able to get in their local area.

Here's a few Pro's and Con's when it comes down to Internet shopping!

Pro's

You can shop 24 hours a day !!
No queues or other people ;)
You can buy online and collect in store or have it delivered.
Online discounts (ebay, vouchercloud, asos marketplace)
Huge selection of fashion without walking around for hours.
Pay via paypal
Check in store stock online

Con's

You have to have the internet lol - get Virgin Media here
Don't always have your sizes.
Sometimes the sizes are weird and you have to try things on which means sending stuff back which can be a hassle.

OOTD; Topshop Grey Marl Skirt

t-shirt, skirt, cardigan and belt; topshop // watch; casio // necklace; vintage fair

I bought this cardigan off ebay ! I really love the colour - I think it's a tad summery but because I get buses and trains and walk I get rather hot so little cardigans are nice under my jackets. I have a topshop grey speckled dress and I wear it all the time - it's so versatile and easy to wear so when I saw this skirt I really wanted to buy it. I've had it a few weeks now and this is the first time i've worn it but i've been really comfortable in it all day at university and shopping and can't wait to team it with some little jumpers. I visited Topshop yesterday as we all know it was the first day of their sale! I wasn't impressed - I had a little look online in the morning and added a few bits to my basket mostly jewellery but I really can't bring myself to pay the £4 postage so before I did place an order I looked in the coventry Topshop and picked up a khaki shirt and a stripe top which I love and I got student discount aswell so I was chuffed with those purchases and I'm glad I didn't spend loads as I'm on a spending ban :)

for those of you that follow me on twitter you will know i NEEDED a leopard print fur coat well... i got one and its such a funny story of how i came to own it.
i've been looking on ebay, twitter, peoples blog saless and just none of them were right or of the right price. i found one that i loved and got into the bidding war but it went past £40 and i just wasnt willing to pay that much so anyway i was having a general conversation with my little sister about the matter and she was like OH laura has a fur coat ... a leopard one that she never wears anyway i tried it on and fell in love with it and after all the searching i found THE ONE and i bought it for £25 :Dwell happy and i love it

this week i was invited to a midlands blogger meet by rebecca and lucie are organising. It will be in birmingham and they are really trying to finalise numbers before they plan much. if anyone is interested just get in touch with myself or the girls and we will add you to thelist. all the london bloggers do it so its about time we got to have a bloggers meet also if you have any ideas about what we should do ect then let us know.

i will most likely be away from the computer over the weekend therefore a quick post tonight for you to read. today's been really nice - If im honest it hasnt been a bad week. at uni i've come up with a good idea for my work - it seems to be going well and my tutors LOVE it (which anyone that does art/graphics/illustration ect) will know it a HUGE task!! spent loads of time with my boyfriend but spent NO MONEY ;D which is something we really need to do more since we've been looking at holidays and flats. we have suddenly realised that we spend SO MUCH MONEY on food! so today we sat in put Xmen 3 on and i made pancakes(FAILED) if you follow me on twitter or are a regular of my blog you will know i recently put a few items on ebay (ive raved on about it for the past 3 days) well it ended today and ive made about £45 :D which is great ^^^ Been looking at bags on ebay tho ¬_¬ i will never learn. hope everyone has a great weekend.

i havent posted for a while just due to not being on my computer alot and im not comfortable blogging on my phone. heres a few items that ive had my eye on. i love velvet dresses. i like this one which at £12.99 is a bargain, i might just buy it later. theres also a red sleeveless one on topshop that i like too... its £30.

Im going to thee clothes show in birmingham on saturday so im really excited. i dont actually have any money which is gutting. ive put abit aside incase i see anything tho. ive been the past 3 years and its okay even if you have no money. im really interested in what models own will be doing as they have been posting on facebook about special cosmetic bags with free stuff in so looking forward to that :D i might pick up the beetle juice collection if they have it too.
i would reccomend the clothes show as you can pick up some bargains and you get little free extras aswell, the magazines are my favourites they give you goodie bags if you buy a magazinee :D

should hopefully be blogging more, just trying to concentrate on university atm,
