CHRISTMAS GIFT IDEAS - BEAUTY

Another Christmas Gift Guide!!! This ones more beauty related, as a beauty blogger and lover I find I like to gift beauty products to my family and friends. I love reccommending products or brands and sharing tips and tricks.

I've put together a good selection of products and tried to include a nice range of brands. I feel all of these products are reasonably priced, as I don't tend to spend loads on people at Christmas.

Gift sets are a really great way to give someone a selection of products at Christmas, Soap and Glory are one of my all time favourite brands. I love gifting Soap and Glory, it's such a well know brand and they have something for everyone. This is their Time To Pink gift set which retails at £16.00 and inside you get a Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss, the Love At First Blush Shimmer Powder, a nail polish and roller ball perfume all inside this gorgeous glittery pouch.  I'm loving the Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oils right now, I think they are great for so many people and would make a great stocking filler, they are £18 each but Clarins is such a lovely brand which is well recognized and these are perfect for the cold winter season. Next i've included the Sensio Spa Deep Pore Cleanser, this is very similar to the Foreo Luna but a much more affordable option, you can pick it up on Amazon or Argos, right now its on offer for £25 at Argos which is Half Price.

I've included the Two Faced Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette which is such a great product, it retails for around £39 but the shades are perfect and the pigments are gorgeous. I reach for this all the time! You can get Two Faced in Debenhams

Lush! I love that Lush have such an amazing Christmas Selection, this year i'm loving the gift sets. I picked out the Comfort and Joy gift set as we've just moved into our own place and have found ourselves using the shower more that the bath and this contains two Shower Gels, a Body Conditioner and also the Reindeer Rock Soap

As usual Liz Earle have released an impressive range of amazing Christmas Gift sets including the Liz Earle Supercharged Skin Gift, inside this lovely bauble box is a mini Superskin moisturiser. I really want to try the new Limited Edition Cleanse and Polish, the new scent is Orange and Mint! It sounds so amazing, It's going straight on my wish list for Christmas

This No7 star bauble contains a nail polish. I think this is a really lovely gift idea. The shade is a lovely winter colour and the No7 Polishes are really good quality. No7 is a brand known and loved by many so this would make a fab stocking filler or Secret Santa gift for that beauty lover.

WAH London have a great range of press on nails with some fab designs, my favourite ones are these red ones with the silver glitter. I will be wearing these over the festive season, they do some really lovely designs so theres something for any nail lover this Christmas.

REVIEW: No7 LASH IMPACT

No7 Lash Impact Intense Volume Control - Boots - £13.50*

I've been using this mascara for a few weeks and I have to say i'm impressed. I have used No7 mascaras before and i've always liked them. I have quite sensitive eyes but i've never had a reaction to any No7 products.

The brush is big and theres loads of bristles. The fibre brush is designed to stops clumping. I've tried this on its own on clean lashes and it gives bold lashes. It leaves lashes feeling fuller and full of volume. I feel after a couple of coats my lashes look really good, almost like wearing false lashes. I've started applying this on top of my Rimmel London Lash Accelerator endless mascara, this makes my lashes really long and then with the Lash Impact Volume Control on top for to add that Volume to my lashes.

I love the packaging, it's amazing! It reminds me of Dorothys shoes from the Wizard of Oz !

I think £13.50 is a great price, I would repurchase this product it adds so much volume which is something I look for in a mascara.

No7 Make Up Brush Cleaner

Boots RRP £8

I picked this up because my brushes were getting all dirty and really needed washing right away and I didn't want to wait for a delivery so just picked this up in boots. It was £8 which I think it rather expensive as i've used a really cheap one from ELF before that did the job!
This has a pump and you put it on some tissue - I use kitchen roll and its a quick way to clean your brushes and because you don't need to rinse it your brushes dry quicker because your hardly using any liquid. I could see the results straight away and think this is a great product for quick and efficient cleaning. Cleaning my brushes is one of them things I really can't be bothered to do, but now I have this I can do it more often with it only taking a few minutes and hopefully my brushes will last longer.

How do you clean your brushes?
Do you know of any products like this ?

No 7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Brush

I've been looking at the Clarisonic Cleasning brush so when I heard No 7 were releasing a similar product I was so excited. At the moment its retailing at £15 but this is introductory offer and it will be going up to £25 which compared to the Clarisonic at £120 is a bargain. The brush comes with batteries and the brush head, the heads can be replaced and retail at £8 for 2. It has two speeds which is so you can change the speed if you are removing make up or just washing your face, or if you have different skin types or areas that are more sensitive than others.

How To Use

1. Remove any eye make up
2. Apply your Cleanser as instructed. Be generous on your forehead, cheeks and chin.
3.Wet the brush and press the power button. press the button again to turn up the speed for a deeper clean
4. Gently massage your face with small circular movements
5. wash away the cleanser with warm water.

I've been using this for a few days now and I really love it ! My face felt so much cleanser straight away. My chin and nose were noticeably cleaner and I noticed some of my blackheads had gone. I used this with my Clarisonic cleansing gel which is a nice light product. It tells you to use the No7 cleansers and I would say to use the Foaming cleanser because I think the lighter products work really well with the brush and they are easier to wash off the brush than a thicker product.

I'll write another post when I've used this more but my first impression is - I LOVE IT :)
Its fab and I'd recommend buying it whilst its only £15 and for you lucky owners of the £5 vouchers WHY NOT !?!?!?

Boots have a get the 2nd No7 product for half price - Take Advantage !!

Have you tried this or are you going to ?
