[GIFTED] EYLURE EXAGGERATE 141 LASHES

I went out on Saturday night and thought this would be perfect to test out my new lashes! The Eylure Exaggerate 141 lashes are super wispy so perfect for a night out!! They are long and full of volume and just add drama to any eye look.

I don't really wear lashes as I struggle to put them on but I found these Eylure ones really easy to apply. I used the falsh lash applicator by falseeyelashes.co.uk/ which really helped! It stops you from getting glue all over your fingers which really helps when applying the lashes.

I got loads of compliments on my lashes, as I said I don't usually wear them so I think they made my make up look amazing!!

They are super affordable too! Eylure so loads of different styles so if your after something more natural or less full they have loads of styles to choose from.

Falselashes.co.uk stock loads of lashes so they have something for everyone! They also offer free 1st class delivery on all orders!

Check out my before and after below !

BEAUTY: EYE OF HORUS BROW FIBRE REVIEW

I've been using the Eye Of Horus Brow Fibre extend for awhile now and thought i'd feature it on my blog in a review as I've not done any beauty reviews in a while.

I love my brows and I look really weird if I don't use product on my brows. I get them waxed every few months at Benefit and always wear product on them. I love trying new products and when I . received the Eye of Horus Brow product I was very excited to give it a try.

It's kind of a tint for your brows, it has a tiny little brush. Similar to a mascara brush but smaller and you use this to apply the product. I have the shade Dynasty which is the medium shade, it also comes in a light and darker shade. As you can see the product is a medium brown colour. It's not very thick and it applies quite thin but is very easy to build up so you can add more definition to your brows if you prefer.

What I tend to do is use a brow pencil to draw the outline of my brow and if i'm having a natural brow day I will just use the Brow Fibre and pencil to create a light natural definition. If i'm going out or I want a stronger brow I might use my NYX Tame & Frame Brow pomade as this makes my brows appear really thick and then I use the Brow Fibre over the top to bring out the hairs and make my brow look more natural and it also sets the brow.

I've been using the Brow Fibre Extend every day and I really do love it, it's lasted me ages and I think it's such a good product. It's avaliable now over on Beautybay.com

REVIEW: RIMMEL VOLUME SHAKE MASCARA

If you haven't seen this new release from Rimmel where have you been? I've seen this mascara all over social media and i've even seen adverts on TV for it.

I've been using this for about a month now and thought i'd share my experience with it.

This is the Rimmel Volume Shake mascara and its a very new concept for mascara as inside is a patent-pending shaker which refreshes the volumising formula whenever it's needed. So you shake it to keep it fresh.

It's a clump free mascara and creates volume, and due to the shake technology lasts a really long time, so you won't have to throw it out because it's dried up.

I think the shake technology is a really good idea and I hate it when your mascara dries up and you know theres still loads left. I don't feel that this mascara really gives great volume and I think it's because you need an element of clump/dry mascara to get a really good volume. I like long and thick lashes and this is a much more natural lash. I think the texture is a little too watery for me and I would prefer a little bit of clump/thickness to the lash.

I know everyone is different and alot of people love a more natural less clumpy look when it comes to mascara but this just isn't for me. I will continue to use it as I don't think it's that bad but I wouldn't repurchase this.

REVIEW: BENITO WOW LASHES

I went along to a press event recently which was held as House of Fraser in Birmingham, It was actually the Help Harry Help Others Grotto Launch which i've blogged about here. I was asked if i'd like to try lash extensions by Benito and I jumped at the chance. I've never tried eyelash extensions before so I was really excited to give them ago.

First of all I had to remove my eye make up so i'd maybe recommend not wearing any eye make up if you do decide to have your lashes done. It was abit of a hassle taking all my make up off so if I was to ever get them done again i'd wear no make and maybe have a cheeky trip to the beauty counters to get my make up done ;)

Then they stuck a pad under my eye which they applied over my bottom lashes, i'm guessing this is to stop your lashes sticking together.

Next they started to apply the individual lashes which was surprisingly relaxing.  All together this took about 40 minutes. The lashes I went for were the Dramatic Lashes which last about 10 days. They are semi-permanent and would be ideal for a holiday or a special occasion like a prom or a wedding.

I think the after care is very important. You have to keep your lashes dry for 12 hours so the glue can set and you can't touch the lashes whilst they dry. You can't use any oil based products to remove your make up as this can cause the lashes to come loose. Also you shouldn't use mascara over the top.

I had the lashes on for about 3 days and then I had to have them taken off. They were amazing! I loved them, they looked so good. Unfortunately I was quite ill last week when I had the applied.  I had Laryngitis so my eyes kept streaming and I do feel like they dry aswell as they could have. I do think it depends on the aftercare and if you let them dry properly I think they could have lasted longer. The lashes did start to come loose after a couple of days but as I said I felt they didn't stick well because my eyes were so wet. The lashes didn't irritate me at all, I find my eyes can be sensitive but they were fine. I was surprised with how natural the lashes felt and how comfortable they were.

I would have them done again, I think they looked amazing. I think i'd maybe go for the natural lashes as they last longer and you can have more applied to keep them looking fresh and full. I think £45 isn't that bad for the dramatic lashes. They look so good and I had so many compliments. The natural lashes are £65 but as I said they last longer and easily maintained.

You can find out more here on the Benito website.

*I had these lashes applied for free, this review is truthful and honest, read my full disclaimer here

Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Waterproof

Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Waterproof : Lancome  - £21.00

I've always been a massive fan of Lancome so I was actually so excited to try out this mascara. I've always used Benefit's they're real as I have got them free in magazines or I was given one at an event, as a mascara They're real is fab and I would buy it however now i've tried Lancome I think I would prefer to spend my money on Hypnose Doll Eyes. It's a really lovely formula and it makes my lashes appear really long. I use another mascara over the top to add abit of volume as I like my lashes to be really thick.  I find it comes off really easily without much effort unlike They're real that is very stubborn. I like the packaging of Lancome it's simplistic but classy. The silver box is really appealing and when you see it in the shop it looks special. I'm really impressed with Lancome's mascara and I would like to try some of their other mascara's. I think £21.00 is really reasonable for such a good quality product compared to similar brands that charge alot more for their mascaras.

W7 Eyeshadow- Golden Eyes

I got this eyeshadow at the #VintSetFest event that was held at the Custard Factory. I've never tried anything from W7 but I decided to try this out because I like shimmer eyeshadows. I was so shocked at how much I liked it when I did a little swatch on my hand. The pigmentation is actually really good and I wear it with a primer so it appears even more pigmented. It lasts all day and I love the overall finish. Its just lovely ! This is a shade you would find in your Urban Decay Naked palette. It is a little powdery but for £1.50 who's complaining. Its a lovely cheap little addition to my collection. I will be trying out more W7 products.

Benefit Eyes It's Potent!

Benefit It's Potent! Eye Cream - Full Size - £24.50

You will notice a few benefit products poping up on the blog because i've kinda started loving Benefit products and because I got some fab samples which i've been trying out.

I got the Benefit skincare set which you can pick up from the Benefit counters, john lewis, Debenhams and boots if you have a Benefit counter. It's £10 and you get some lovely samples of the Benefit skincare including this eye cream, I will be reviewing the other products soon.

I have two of these lovely sample sizes and expect them to last a while - I've used this one for about 3-4 weeks everyday and it looks untouched still. You need a very small amount and apply to the eye bone in a triangle from the brow bone down to the under eye (crows feet area) you need to dab it and not rub it! This is because the skin under the eye is more sensitive so you use the eye cream rather than a normal moisturiser and dabbing is more gentle and your less likely to get creases.

The eye cream is very cool when you apply it to the eye and instantly brightens the eye! You can see this by applying the cream to one eye and looking in a mirror at the difference. The cream contains Cocoa butter to leave the eye area looking smooth and to also fade dark circles and smooth any fine lines.

I have noticed my eyes look brighter and even though i'm young i'm going to be using eye cream to make sure i'm reducing the amount of fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes as I get older. The full size eye cream is massive and I would say it would last you many many months maybe even a year and its defiantly worth the money. If you don't want to spend your money on the Benefit skincare straight away then I would recommend the set because you get to try everything for just £10!!

Boots Botanics Soothing Eye Make Up Remover

I bought this ages ago and never reviewed it ! I've been sorting through some bits recently because i've been doing abit of selling and remembered I wanted to review this.

Honestly I'm not a fan! I really wanted to try some of the Botanics range after some recommendations and picked up this and their cream make up remover. I wear alot of eye make up so I decided to pick up both products.

I've read a few reviews on this product since buying it and I believe boots have changed the formula and people that used this product before are the ones who notice because this product isn't 'SOOTHING' It actually really stings my eyes. Now I have rather sensitive eyes but so do most people and this product shouldn't sting your eyes, especially since the packaging says 'soothing'
I've found that using this product makes my eyes really sore and doesn't really remove much of my make up and leaves around my eyes really greasy and oily. Also in the morning I would wake up with crusty and sore eyes.

I've stopped using this product and now use the Micellar water from Superdrug that I reviewed the other day.

Have you tried this product and had similar or different effects , let me know :)

MUA Undress Me Too Palette

MUA Undress Me Too Palette £4 from Superdrug

Here's another product that everyone and their aunt has heard about! I saw it in superdrug the other day and had to pick it up and I'm so glad I did!

I'm not really one for palettes. I don't really wear much eye shadow! I have an Urban Decay palette that I got before christmas and feel obliged to use it because it was a lot of money to just sit un-used, however this palette was £4 so I told myself if I don't like it well oh well it was £4!

This palette has been compared to The Urban Decay Naked 2 palette and its because the shades are so similar - nearly the same! I was reading a blog post the other day and the similarities are crazy! Obviously the Urban Decay palette is alot more pigmented and the quality is alot better than this MUA palette but for £4! Its great! It has a lovely range of 12 shades of soft neutrals, cool greys and stunning gold metallic's!

When I do wear eye makeup I normally go for blacks and whites and creates a smokey eye effect so I think this is another reason why I like this palette because as well as the browns there is about 3 creams and a grey and black so you can do your smokey eye but also create some more natural looks.

I love this! love love love it !
I don't care to much about the pigmentation and quality because I'm not a make up artist and I wear eye-shadow occasionally so why would I spend £38 on the Naked Palette. I've been experimenting with eye-shadow primer and this palette and it does give some fab effects and makes the pigmentation better so I would recommend picking up an eye-shadow primer too. I'm using the Urban Decay one that I got with an old palette but i've tried e.l.f ones before that were amazing for the money.
I love this for £4 and I can't believe this is my first MUA palette but I will be visiting superdrug soon to pick up the older palettes.

No 7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Brush

I've been looking at the Clarisonic Cleasning brush so when I heard No 7 were releasing a similar product I was so excited. At the moment its retailing at £15 but this is introductory offer and it will be going up to £25 which compared to the Clarisonic at £120 is a bargain. The brush comes with batteries and the brush head, the heads can be replaced and retail at £8 for 2. It has two speeds which is so you can change the speed if you are removing make up or just washing your face, or if you have different skin types or areas that are more sensitive than others.

How To Use

1. Remove any eye make up
2. Apply your Cleanser as instructed. Be generous on your forehead, cheeks and chin.
3.Wet the brush and press the power button. press the button again to turn up the speed for a deeper clean
4. Gently massage your face with small circular movements
5. wash away the cleanser with warm water.

I've been using this for a few days now and I really love it ! My face felt so much cleanser straight away. My chin and nose were noticeably cleaner and I noticed some of my blackheads had gone. I used this with my Clarisonic cleansing gel which is a nice light product. It tells you to use the No7 cleansers and I would say to use the Foaming cleanser because I think the lighter products work really well with the brush and they are easier to wash off the brush than a thicker product.

I'll write another post when I've used this more but my first impression is - I LOVE IT :)
Its fab and I'd recommend buying it whilst its only £15 and for you lucky owners of the £5 vouchers WHY NOT !?!?!?

Boots have a get the 2nd No7 product for half price - Take Advantage !!

Have you tried this or are you going to ?

My ELF order !

 tea rose
 praline
 coral
 dawn cream eyeshadow
cream blush; flirt

This is what I bought when elf released their AMAZING 50% everything on their website code! I was abit reluctant to place an order as at the moment I need to be saving my money for my holiday, but then I added a few pieces to my basket and accidentally clicked buy!  All of this including delivery came to £18.60 which considering I could have spent £18.50 on a benefit mascara this lot was a bargain!!!

Will review products when I've used them properly!
