REVIEW: THE BODY SHOP VANILLA PUMPKIN BODY BUTTER

I'm a big fan of The Body Shop body butters and this one does not disappoint! I wasn't too sure when I saw Vanilla Pumpkin scent as i'm actually not a huge fan of the Pumpkin scent, however when I first smelt this I was pleasantly surprised. The smell is really sweet and i'd say more on the Vanilla side. It's not overpowering at all, it's sweet but not sickly. The actual product is great, if you've used The Body Shop's body butters before then you know they absorb into the skin quickly and don't leave your skin feeling sticky, it leaves your skin soft and subtle and feeling hydrated. Great for dry skin and I have quite sensitive skin but don't have any problems with products from The Body Shop.

The body butter is actually showing as out of stock right now but there's a shower gel and hand cream from this range which sound amazing. I'd love to have the hand cream in my bag for the Autumn months

If you haven't tried the body butters from The Body Shop they are well worth checking out, they have so many different scents to choose from, they actually have a few in the sale right now as well.

BEAUTY: THE BODY SHOP HIMALAYAN CHARCOAL PURIFYING GLOW MASK

My skin has been looking a little dull recently so i've been using The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask once a week for a few weeks. I have the Facial mask brush which I use to apply the mask to my face. The brush makes applying the mask super easy but you could use your fingers or even a super old make up brush would do the same job.

This mask is 100% Vegan and infused with bamboo charcoal, Green tea leaves and Organic tea tree oil. The mask revives skin leaving it looking fresh and youthful.

The mask dries really quick and tingles on your skin, I have very sensitive skin but haven't had any problems with this mask, it hasn't irritated my skin whatsoever. I have been using warm water and a muslin to remove the mask. The mask exfoliates the skin and removes any dead skin so the skin feels really smooth and soft.

I've really enjoyed using this mask, as I said i've incorporated it into my weekly skincare routine and have been using it once a week or as I need it. I feel that it leaves my skin feeling much clearer.

The Body Shop have a huge selection of different masks so head over to their website and check them out.

CHRISTMAS AT THE BODY SHOP

IT'S CHRISTMASSSS!

So, it's officially Christmas on amypyt.com from now until Christmas I will have Christmas gift guides, collaborations with brands, Christmas wish lists, DIY's and much much more.

This is the first time I have ever lived by myself and it will be our first of hopefully many Christmasses to come in our flat so i'm feeling rather festive and getting excited about having our own tree up and getting some festive bedding etc.

The Body Shop are one of my absolute favourite brands, especially at Christmas time. They always do fabulous gift sets and have some really amazing products. My mom loves body butters and lotions so I always pick her up something from The Body Shop.

The Body shop have so much to offer whether your shopping for someone who loves ,bath products, body products or make up! There's something for everyone!

I'm loving the Lippy Star Wand, this has to be my favourite pick! The Body Shop lip balms are so lovely and just a great stocking filler. The unique star wand shape of this product would be such a fab gift as the reciever would seriously have no idea what it is. You get 5 lip balms and this is a bargain at just £10

I also love the new Frosted Plum scent, it smells gorgeous. It's a nice subtle scent which is lovely. They have a great selection of products in the Frosted Plum range including a lip balm, body butter, hand cream and candle.

The make up range from The Body Shop this season is also very impressive, I love these eyeshadow palettes, The Grooving Gold one is my favourite, they also have a silver version available.

Head over to The Body Shop Website or instore to check out their huge Christmas gift Selection, if you need a hand with your gifts then you can use the Gift Finder which can help you pick the perfect gift for your loved ones.

REVIEW: THE BODY SHOP WILD ARGAN OIL

THE BODY SHOP WILD ARGAN OIL - £14.00* - THE BODY SHOP

I've been testing a few products from this range including the body lotion and solid oil and I have to say i'm a big fan! I haven't used a body oil before so this was new to me and I was abit worried that it would be a very greasy formula but its not its lovely. Its a dry oil that soaks into the skin so fast, it leaves the skin feeling soft and hydrated. It smells beautiful, its such a lovely scent, its clean and summery.

You can use the oil on your skin but also on your hair, you can use it on dry or wet hair. On dry hair apply avoiding the roots and pat for a shiny finish or apply to damp hair and pat then dry as normal to lock in moisture and radiance.

You don't need to use alot on your hair just a small amount, otherwise it can leave the hair looking greasy. I can see this product lasting me a very long time. I'm going to be bringing it on holiday with me as I think the oil will keep the moisture in my skin and hair.

This is part of the Wild Argan Oil range at The Body Shop which you can buy here-

No 7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Brush

I've been looking at the Clarisonic Cleasning brush so when I heard No 7 were releasing a similar product I was so excited. At the moment its retailing at £15 but this is introductory offer and it will be going up to £25 which compared to the Clarisonic at £120 is a bargain. The brush comes with batteries and the brush head, the heads can be replaced and retail at £8 for 2. It has two speeds which is so you can change the speed if you are removing make up or just washing your face, or if you have different skin types or areas that are more sensitive than others.

How To Use

1. Remove any eye make up
2. Apply your Cleanser as instructed. Be generous on your forehead, cheeks and chin.
3.Wet the brush and press the power button. press the button again to turn up the speed for a deeper clean
4. Gently massage your face with small circular movements
5. wash away the cleanser with warm water.

I've been using this for a few days now and I really love it ! My face felt so much cleanser straight away. My chin and nose were noticeably cleaner and I noticed some of my blackheads had gone. I used this with my Clarisonic cleansing gel which is a nice light product. It tells you to use the No7 cleansers and I would say to use the Foaming cleanser because I think the lighter products work really well with the brush and they are easier to wash off the brush than a thicker product.

I'll write another post when I've used this more but my first impression is - I LOVE IT :)
Its fab and I'd recommend buying it whilst its only £15 and for you lucky owners of the £5 vouchers WHY NOT !?!?!?

Boots have a get the 2nd No7 product for half price - Take Advantage !!

Have you tried this or are you going to ?

The Essentials

Batiste dry shampoo// Wella Silvikrin// Nair Brazillian Spa Clay Collection*// Nivea Express Hydration//Arm and Hammer Enamel Care*// Femfresh soothing wash*// Vaseline cocoa radiant// Femfresh wipes*// Lush ultrabland// skin therapy wipes// The Body Shop foaming facial wash// Balance me wonder eye cream// Balance me face moisturiser// Nivea hand lotion//

I've decided to put together this post of essentials! I do use alot of products and I love trying out new ones! This is a post of products i've tried and  some that I use religiously! Its also some products that I really want to review or mention but I don't really want to do a full post about one product so this way i'm posting about loads of really good products but getting all the important information out.

Dry shampoo! - I LOVE THE STUFF! I've tried the new timotei one and its nothing compared to batiste. Blush is my favourite and I use the original one if superdrug don't have it! (btw its like always on offer in superdrug so check there if you wanna buy it ) I have blonde hair so the way it makes your hair abit white doesn't affect me but they do other ones for different hair colours and it brushes out ! I love how you can get away with washing your hair and how it just freshens your hair up. dry shampoo is a must have!

Hairspray - I don't use alot of hairspray but when I do its Wella Silvikrin in firm hold or ultra hold! It doesn't have a nasty hairspray smell and it holds your hair up; does what it says on the tin ;)

Hair Removal- The Nair products are all new to me, I wanted to review the wax strips and was really excited to try them but then i wimped out and decided to try the shower power foam instead! It smells like most Nair products and is like a cream. You apply a thick layer before you shower and wait a couple of minutes then you go in the shower but try and not get wet and then use the spatula to remove the cream - removing the hair. Its really good and leaves your legs smooth and soft. I'm yet to try the wax strips.

Femfresh range- I won't go into much detail about this range but I will say that I defiantly recommend it.

Moisturisers- I love cocoa butter but I find palmers abit expensive and the smell is very powerful whereas this vaseline cocoa butter has a lovely smell and it moistures the skin- I got this on offer in superdrug for just under £2 which is like half the price of the palmers one.
The Nivea express hydration range is really good, it defiantly does the job when it come to hydrating the skin- I have very dry skin and this is perfect and it absorbs quickly.
I love hand creams and this is my favourite one! - when I take my nail varnish off I like to use this on my hands and nails- you only need to use a tiny pea size amount.

Face- The balance me range is really nice! I love these small sample size creams to keep in my make up bag for when I stop at dans. The eye cream is really nice- I'm not normally a fan of eye cream but I do love this! I also use lush Ultrabland on my face its a cleanser which is great for sensitive skin and also to remove make up because it contains beeswax. Also people with problem skin should use this on its own to bring the skin back to normal balance. I love foaming facial wash so when I finished my No 7 one I tried this body shop one and its really nice - it smells nice and isn't harsh on the skin at all!

I've been trying loads of new teeth products- I've been researching getting my teeth whitened but apparently it can cause alot of damage to your enamel so I've been using stain removal toothpaste and I'm gonna start using Arm & Hammer Enamel Care Sensitive toothpaste that restores surface enamel, It contains baking soda that is supposed to whiten your teeth more gently, its also for sensitive teeth.
