FASHION: SPRING WISHLIST 2018
5 March 2018
The BEAST FROM THE EAST may be here but fear not Spring is just around the corner (isn't it?) I hope the weather starts to warm up soon because i'm bored of being cold.
Here's some transitional pieces to see you into Spring 2018. First is this gorgeous Pink cardigan from River Island. I'm loving pink right now and this cardigan is perfect to layer up and keep warm but the perfect spring colour. I love the cable knit detail on the arms, it's so cute.
I spotted this bag in Accessorize at a blog event I attended at the Bullring Birmingham Accessorize store. I just love a backback and this lovely blush pink colour is just lovely. Very nude/ natural so will go with everything. Adds a little colour to any outfit. I think backpacks are going to be on trend into spring/summer.
I'm loving this blue floral shirt dress from Fashionworld.co.uk . It's just such a lovely print, i'm a big fan of the blue stripe detail on the shirt too. It ties at the waist so is super flattering. This would look perfect with bare legs and some cute little tan boots like these ones from Office or you could wear it with jeans or leggings if you don't want to have your legs out.
This stripe jumper is from New Look, i'm loving all of the contrasting stripes. I think stripes is such a spring trend. I love the different shades of pink/ peach and the black and white breaks up the colour which is lovely.
How cute are these pink trainers, i've been looking for a pair of blush pink trainers for a while. There's so many pairs to choose from, I love the suede puma's and I've seen a cute pair of converse. I was just browsing Office and spotted these gorgeous Ted Baker pumps, they are lovely just such a lovely pair of pumps perfect if you like to wear a comfy shoe, I think these would look lovely with a nice pair of blue jeans.

FASHION: SPRING TO SUMMER TRANSITION PIECES
19 April 2016
I thought i'd share a few must have pieces for the spring into summer transition. The weather is heating up and the summer is approaching. I have a few pieces that I will be wearing right through into the summer. I have been wearing my bomber jacket lots recently, check out my latest outfit post here. It's a lovely lightweight jacket so it will be lovely for those chilly UK summer evenings. Every girl has a pair of ballet pumps that they wear all summer, I really want to get a cute leopard print pair like these ones from New Look. I love my culottes, check out this outfit post of my favourite plain black pair, I will be wearing these all summer as they are so so easy to wear. As we live in the UK and we don't have the best summer weather it's good to keep a jumper or two in your summer wardrobe. I tend to keep my plain jumpers out so if I need to chuck a jumper over a shirt or want to wear a jumper with some jeans I have some handy, I love this pink one from Dunedin Cashmere*, it's such a lovely colour and it has elbow patches which is so cute, it would be so easy to wear on those cooler days. I thought i'd add this off the shoulder top, it's such a lovely colour, I love khaki, I think it looks great with a tan. Last summer I practically lived in my slip on plimsoles and I don't think this year will be different. They are so comfy, they are great for work because they look smart but they are still casual enough for everyday.

OUTFIT POST: KARLIE KLOSS FOR KURT GEIGER SS16
17 April 2016
Shoes:Kurt Geiger*/Jacket: Boohoo// T-shirt : H&M // Jeans: New Look // Belt : Primark // Bag: New Look *
I've been waiting for the weather to brighten up a little bit before showing you my new shoes, They are part of the Karlie Kloss for Kurt Geiger SS16 collection . They are these gorgeous Khaki satin skater slip ons. I really like the flatform style as they give a little bit of height but are still comfy and casual. With the rubbish weather we've been having I didn't want to risk them in the rain but for a gorgeous sunny day like today they were perfect. We headed into town and did a spot of shopping today and they were very comfy. I thought i'd stick with a basic khaki tshirt and black jeans. I have to say I really liked my outfit today and can't wait to style these shoes with some other outfits, I think they will look awesome with my dungaree dress! I finished the look off with my bomber jacket from Boohoo which I think looks so good!
What do you think of todays outfit and are you a fan of these slip on skater style shoes? I think they are perfect for spring/ summer. Check out whats new this season over on Kurt Geiger.

EVENT: NEW BALANCE PRESS EVENT
27 October 2014
Last week I headed down to London with my boyfriend Clint for the New Balance event, we wanted to stay overnight but after booking our holiday to Orlando for next year we decided to go down for the day.
We had a look around at the latest designs and learnt more about New Balance as a brand and what they have to offer. They actually put alot of effort into the designs and performance of each shoe.
At the event there was a variety of different New Balance Shoes to look at, they had performance shoes which were the sporty ones for runners, lightweight running designs, cricket styles and then more lifestyle styles which would appeal to most people. I love the 574's they come in so many different colours, there was a gorgeous black and green pair at the event which had cute pink laces.
Clints favourites were the 600c in the yellow/mustard colour, they were really nice perfect for a night out!
I didn't realise how many different kinds of New Balance there actually is, they have lots of unique styles and they come in so many different colours and designs. You can also personalise your own pair on the New Balance website in the US so the possibilities are endless.
Overall, it was such a fab event, I learnt loads about New Balance that I didn't know before. After I had looked around the different designs and had some amazing Ali Baba Juice we went through and designed our own personal pair of New Balance, I went for a Burgundy colour and grey details, I won't get them for a couple of weeks but I will review them once they arrive. I even got to put my name on the back, I'm so excited for them to arrive! I'd like to thank New Balance for inviting me to the event and for letting me personalise my own pair!
