BEAUTY: INTRODUCING RIMMEL LONDON'S NEW INSTA COLLECTION

I was so excited to receive these goodies in the post last week! Rimmel have released their new make-up range to get you Insta-ready! You will have no problem getting the perfect selfie now!

There's so many different products in the new range, contour sticks, setting powder, concealer palettes and much more. I thought i'd go through a few of the new products and introduce you to the new range. I have only used a couple of bits so far so will review them in a few weeks once i've given them all a go!

I have been loving the #Insta Fix & Matte powder, it works really well on my skin. I've been using it to set and mattify my foundation. It isn't cakey as it's a translucent powder. You can build it up easily and I don't need to retouch through the day.

I haven't tried the Contour sticks yet but I did swatch the light shade and it's a lovely warm toned shade and gorgeous highlight. They are very creamy and easy to blend out! Very excited to try.

I'm so excited to try the Fix & Go fixing spray as i've only ever used the Urban Decay All Nighter spray. This is a 2 in 1 primer and fixing spray which sounds so good! At £6.99 this is a bargain!! I hope its good! The packaging is fab and it's a decent size bottle.

The range also includes the #Insta Flawless skin tint, concealer palettes and a conceal and correct palette. The whole range is really affordable and on 3 for 2 right now at Superdrug so check it out.

BEAUTY: URBAN DECAY NAKED SMOKY PALETTE REVIEW

Hello 2016, I'm back and blogging again. I had a lovely Christmas and New Year and honestly it was so nice not blogging for a couple of weeks but now i'm back!  I thought i'd start with a review, I know i'm a little bit late to the Smoky palette hype, but I got it for Christmas and i've used it pretty much every day since! And it's as perfect as I thought it would be...

I have all of the Urban Decay Naked palettes and honestly they are so amazing, i'm always raving about them, I always recommend them to my friends, I think they are such great products and I think £38 for 12 shades is so good! I love the Original Naked palette the most because of my colouring browns and neutrals work better, they make me look warmer. Well that was before I got the Smoky Palette, I love it so much! It has everything you need!

The first four shades are shimmery shades, the first colour is a pink shade, 'High' and second is a gold shade 'Dirtysweet', these are gorgeous, such lovely pigments and colour payoff, as I said above this palette has everything! The next two shades are a brown 'Radar' and grey 'Armour', great for a subtle smoky eye, I use these in the crease! The brown looks amazing with the 'Dirtysweet' gold shade.

'Slanted' is the 5th shade along which is a dark grey, it has a slight shimmer/ glitter, this is a lovely all over colour if your doing a really dark smoky eye or great in the crease for a lighter more subtle smoky eye.

The last 6 shades are more matte, I like using the matte shades to blend out my smoky eye or as an all over base colour. I've been using 'Black Market' loads this is a really dark black shade. ''Whiskey and Combust are neutral tones, a brown and a cream/nude shade, perfect for blending out or a base colour. ' Thirteen' is a perfect white matte shade. I use this on the brow bone to make any smoky eye stand out and pop!

Over all the Naked Smoky palette is amazing!   The shades are great and there's such a variety of shades that you could create so many different looks using this palette. I love the neutral shades in the palette aswell as the grey shades that you would usually associate with a smoky eye! The packaging is gorgeous, this is my favourite packaging out of all of the Naked palettes and the brush is so good! I love the fluffy end its amazing and the other end makes it easy to get into that crease and I love to apply shade along my lower lash line and this brush makes it so so easy!

REVIEW: MAC EYESHADOW EXPENSIVE PINK

Say hello to my first mac eyeshadow! I don't know why i've never ordered one before but just after Christmas I decided to treat myself. I went for expensive pink which is this gorgeous dark pink with gold shimmery undertones. I've been using it sooo much. It's great for those days when your in a hurry and don't have time to make a big effort with your eyeshadow. This is really easy to apply and looks great just on its own. When I have a little more time I like to add a lighter shade to brighten the inside of the eye. I also like to add a darker shade to create a smokey eye. This is a great shade to go along side the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette because of all the lovely pinks. The pigments are good, it applies easily and you don't need too much product it builds up easily aswell. I'm really tempted to order some more eyeshadows, maybe even make my own pro palette.

Is there any colours you would recommend?  Whats your favoutite Mac products ?

My latest charity shop find

Urban Decay Naked Palette RRP- £36

I picked this up in my local charity shop for £8 thats right ! Thats a massive saving of £28 !

I'm not going to go on and on because I will be reviewing the palette in more depth when I have used it more. The palette contains 12 amazing neutrals! Its the perfect kit to create bronze looks and smokey eyes. I love it already!

Like I said I got this in my local charity shop- It was unused and in the original packaging and still had the Debenhams label on it. The only thing wrong with it was the Karma brush was missing but I probably would have used it anyway.

I love going into charity shops and would really recommend having a look next time your out and about because theres bargains to be found and your doing your little bit for charity at the same time!

REVIEW : Cargo Contour Palette

Cargo Contour Palette - beautybay and Debenhams £22*

This is contouring made easier! I'm rubbish at trying to contour, i've watched videos and i've looked at tutorials and I just manage to make a mess and look dirty. This palette is perfect if like me you struggle when it comes to highlighting and contouring your face.

This palette is available in two different colour combinations Monaco which is a more darker red/ orange tone and then Malibu which is the palette I have above which is a light pink with and lighter contour. This palette is perfect for me because the pink blush is so similar to other blushes that I use.

The kit is a step by step. Each colour is embossed with their application step so highlighter, cheek and contour so you know what colour you use for each step and then on the back theres a really simple diagram showing you what goes where.

So first you apply the 'Contour' shade under the cheekbone and blend, the colour is quite pigmented so you don't need alot, then you follow by adding the 'blush' shade onto the apples of the cheeks, and the finish by spreading the 'highlight' shade to the upper cheek bones. I like to apply the highlight to my brow bone, cupids bow and the inner eye area to make these areas appear brighter.

I love this palette and i've been using it nearly every day since I got it! I took it on holiday with me because its all in one place so you don't need to bring a separate highlighter, contour and blush its all there so its great if your space saving! The pigments in the products are good so you really don't need alot!

For £22 this is a bargain because your getting your three products and you get a decent amount of product and its all in this one handy palette to pop in your handbag or to take on your holidays

I love the packaging ! The mirror is huge, I didn't bring another mirror I just used this one when applying other products. The packaging is really clean and simplistic which I love.

Urban Decay Naked Basics

This is my 400th Post !!

The Urban Decay Palettes are something that I look at every single time i'm in debenhams but I rarely use eyeshadow so the Naked palettes are just too expensive so when I spotted this New Basics palette on buyapowa.com I was so excited! It was £14.50 with £2 (p+p) it normally retails at £20 so I was happy I saved abit of money.

Overall the palette is abit on the small side which I don't mind because its a nice size to fit into your make up bag. The packaging is a matte material and inside you have a lovely very decent size mirror

6 everyday shades to create a range of different looks! I've been using venus in the corner and as a highlighter and then naked 2 and faint to create a smokey/ natural look.

The palette contains mattes and satins and 4 exclusive shades. It's a lovely little palette with 6 full size Urban Decay shades.

I'm really glad I bought this palette because the pigmentation is really good but I still think £20 for eyeshadow palette is abit much for me because I've only recently started wearing eyeshadow but because I got a discount £14 isn't that bad -  I think Urban Decay should make more palettes like this with less shadows so that people like me who can't justify £38 for eyeshadow but would like to use the palettes like this.
