FATHERS DAY GIFT IDEAS WITH FRAGRANCE DIRECT

It's June!! Father's Day is just around the corner on Sunday 18th June! I struggle to buy gifts for my dad because he literally has everything. I think you can't go wrong with aftershave. My dad wears it every single day so he always needs it. Fragrance Direct have so many different fragrances to pick from perfect for Father Day. They have put together a fun quiz to help you pick the right fragrance for your dad! You can see all of the amazing products avaliable for fathers day here at
and check out the quiz to find out which fragrance is right for your dad.

I have picked out just a few fragrances that Fragrance Direct have to offer and I thought i'd share them with you. First up I picked out Davidoff Cool Water, this is one of Clint's absolute favourite scents. It's a really cool, sexy smell! It's a refreshing scent so perfect for summer. It smells so good and I always get Clint a bottle for Christmas. I think this would be a fragrance my dad would really like as it's quite sharp and distinctive

Next up I picked out BOSS The Scent, i've never smelled this before but after filling out the quiz it came out as a good fragrance for The Rustic Gent so I thought i'd see what Clint thought of it. It's a woody scent. It's a seductive smell and crafted to provoke the senses. I really like it and I think my Dad will like this one.

I also picked out another Hugo Boss scent because I've never really bought BOSS fragrances before but I really like the packaging of these two fragrances and they sound like they would smell so good. I was really happy with BOSS Tonic because from the description I wasn't too sure, I thought it might be a little too fruity/ herby but I was pleasantly surprised it is a fresher scent but it's still unique and masculine.

I hope you have a few ideas on some fragrances to get your dad this Fathers Day, if your still unsure then head over to the Fragrance Direct website and give their quiz a go and find out the perfect scent for your dad this Fathers Day!

LIFESTYLE: NATIONAL EXPERIENCE WEEK

This week is National Experience Week! This is a week dedicated to having a good time whatever you decide to do. I love to do new things and i'm always looking for fun and exciting things to do. Check out Into The Blue as they have so many different experiences and days out for everyone to enjoy. I have took part in a few different experience days for example i've been on spa days, i've done animal experiences, scuba diving, afternoon teas, hotel stays, spa trips and much more.

I thought i'd share my wish list with you, so these are a few things I would love to do if I got the chance.

A Tree Top Break - These tree top hotels look incredible. I think it would be so much fun to be in the middle of a forest, in a tree top room with amazing views. Chilling in the hot tub and going for walks in the forest, no phones, no laptops is my idea of the perfect getaway.

A Helicopter ride- i've never been in a Helicopter and it's on my bucket list, I've just never really had the opportunity but i'd love to go in a Helicopter. When we went to America I really wanted to do, it but never got the time. I'd love to do a Helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon or in New Look, thats the dream!

Tandem Bungee or even single bungee,  I really don't think Clint would ever do this! But I have always wanted to do it! I just think it would be such an adrenaline rush.

I don't know why I really like the idea of going in a hot air balloon, I just imagine it being so chilled and relaxed just floating in the sky, it just sounds amazing.

Animal Experiences, I would love to swim with Dolphins again i've just never really had the chance to do it but I think it would be such an incredible experience. When I have kids i'm going to take them to play with dolphins, it's got to be just amazing.

I hope you like my wishlist and like the sound of the experiences i'd love to do.

GIFT IDEAS: VALENTINES DAY GIFT GUIDE

So Valentines Day is a week away so I thought i'd pop together a few gift ideas ready for next week.
I know not everyone buys gifts for Valentines and Clint and myself don't normally go all out, we usually have a small budget for eachother so i've picked out some affordable gift ideas.

First up is Lush goodies, I love lush and they are a really affordable gifts that most people will be really happy to receive. I've picked up a few of my favourites from the Valentines collection. I got Ladybird bubble bar which i'm so excited to use as its a floral scent filled with sweet geranium oil and peppermint oil to give a menthol hint to the mix.
I also picked up Loverlamp which is a bath bomb, with orange, vanilla and cocoa butter it is just perfect for me, I can't wait to have a bath with this one.
I also got the Cupid bath bomb which is a rose and violet leaf scent.

I got sent some gorgeous new bras sets from Freya! I love getting new Lingerie and freya are one of my favourite brands. I'm loving the Freya Fancies longline in candy which is this gorgeous pink shade, I've already got the longline in Black and it's such a comfy bra and it's soo pretty. I love the new Retro Bloom range too, I have the plunge style but this also comes in a longline version. The print is lovely and perfect for Valentines.

Why not do something different and get outdoors this Valentines Day? On the 10th Feb Go Ape in Trent Park you can go on a Blind Date with a twist as they are hosting a free singles event.
Go Ape is also offering couples 20% off during Valentines Week ( Mon 13th-Fri 17th Feb) using the code FEBPR ( mon- fri only)

I love these Mugs from Chickidee they have these fun quotes on and are perfect for couples. They are really affordable and are perfect for Valentines Day. Whether you've been with your partner for a long time or are a new couple they have something for everyone.

How cute are these cookies from Crabtree and Evelyn, they are lovely shortbread style biscuits with strawberry and white chocolate. They sent these over with a selection of their Valentines hand creams. They have some lovely scents for Valentines and the hand creams are really good. Check out their Valentines collection here.

What are your plans for Valentines Day? Clint and I have planned to go for dinner and we've booked tickets to watch the new Fifty Shades film which should be good!

FASHION: HOW TO STYLE THOSE WINTER KNITS

It's been absolutely freezing the last few days and i've been wrapped up in my hat, scarf and gloves! I thought i'd share a few lovely winter knits as i've been wearing knitted jumpers alot recently.

Jumpers are so versatile and a staple for this time of year. You can easily wear them with some Black skinny jeans or trousers for a casual look but add a pair of heels like these Kitten heels from Next and a statement necklace for a night out. There' some really lovely jumpers out and about right now, I love this Grey wrap back jumper from Next (top right) It would be a lovely day to night jumper, so easy to dress up or down and it looks so cosy. I love this fluffy pink jumper from River Island, I think this is a more casual piece. This is very on trend with the off the shoulder style and the blush pink is gorgeous. You could opt for something more luxurious like a pure cashmere jumper like this one from David Nieper (middle-left) , I love the cable knit design and it looks so comfy and warm. You can't go wrong with a big chunky roll neck knit like this one from New Look, you can wear this with leggings and ugg boots for a comfy everyday look or wear it with thick tights and some heeled boots for an evening look. I'd team it with this clutch bag from Next to dress it up a little. If your after something abit glitzy then this sequin jumper from Next (middle)  is great! You can wear this in so many different ways, it would be perfect for a Christmas party or even Christmas day. What's your favourite kind of knit, do you like the styles i've featured in today's post?

FASHION: LAYERING UP THIS SEASON

SKIRT: PRIMARK // JUMPER: THE RAGGED PRIEST // SCARF: PRIMARK
JACKET, JEANS AND BOOTS: NEW LOOK

I went into town today to get my hair cut, it feels so soft and lovely. I'm so so happy with it, I always get it done at the Francesco Group Academy in Birmingham.

I popped on this new shirt from Primark, it's such a lovely soft shirt, it's so easy to wear. I wanted something abit smarter in my wardrobe. I love it. I popped on my fluffy jumper today as it was cold. I wore my leather jacket from New Look because it's always to hot in the shops. I practically live in black skinny jeans right now, with the weather being so cold I just like being warm and comfy!

I have an exciting couple of days coming up,i'm hoping I have time to take some outfit photos whilst i'm in London this weekend and I'm going to the Harry Potter Studio Tour again woo!

GIFT IDEA FOR VALENTINES: THE BODY SHOP SMOKY POPPY

Here's one of the latest releases from The Body Shop, I thought i'd show you guys these new releases as they are very Valentines themed. Theres a huge variety of products in the range including a massage oil, perfect for Valentines. This really lovely lip and cheek stick and body scrub.

I've only used the products once or twice so i'm not going to review them fully just yet but I really wanted to share this range with you before Valentines day.

First of all as you can see from my photo the lip and cheek stick* looks abit strange because the product looks black however when you apply it to your lips its a nice natural looking shade, its soft and really easy to apply and the finish is a really nice matte finish.

The Smoky Poppy poppy seed scrub* is sooo lovely. Its really soft and gentle, the poppy seeds gently exfoliate the skin. It smells amazing, and leaves the skin feeling soft and clean.

Finally the massage oil* seems runny but its quite a dry oil which I prefer, it smells really nice. It's slightly more subtle than the scrub making it perfect for special occasions and for every day. It dries into the skin really quickly and easily. It's a lovely product and suitable for all skin types.

So far i'm really impressed with the range, the smells are really natural and smell amazing. I'm so happy with the products, as I mentioned i've only used them a few times so i'll feature these again for a more in depth review.

LIFESTYLE: VALENTINES GIFTS FOR HER

I thought i'd put together a few blog posts over the next week or so to give you some ideas for Valentines day! I've never really made a huge deal out of Valentines Day but last year Clint cooked me dinner and spoilt me with a gorgeous Pandora ring and some flowers. I thought i'd put together a few gift ideas. I'm not sure if were getting each other presents this year as were both saving up for our holiday to Florida.

I spotted this gorgeous framed print on notonthehighstreet.com I love quotes and think its perfect for valentines, but would be perfect for anytime of the year. I actually have this lingerie set from Freya already, It's so nice. I love how its really pretty and sexy but it's also a really practical bra. The bottoms are cute aswell, I think women sometimes can't find the time to buy themselves underwear and it's a gift that's associated with Valentines Day. My Voucher Codes have put together this really handy Subscription Box Finder which you can find here I think this is such a great gift idea. There's different options for men and women. There's so many options to choose from, they have beauty boxes, food boxes and many more to choose from. There's a range of prices and it takes you through to the website where you can go ahead and order the subscription, the subscription box finder makes it really easy to compare different options. Finally I love this cute Pandora ring set it's £150 so abit of a pricey gift but you do get two gorgeous silver stackable rings.

I think I'll be having a nice quiet night in with Clint, watch a film and have some dinner. We're staying at a hotel on the Thursday before Valentines day so I'm looking forward to that, i'm looking forward to chilling in the spa.
