PREGNANCY: WHAT TO PACK IN BABY'S HOSPITAL BAG?

I'm now 37 weeks pregnant and it's all getting very real! We had discussions earlier on in the pregnancy about having a C-section around now but that's no longer the case but it's crazy to think that any time now our little bubba could make an appearance.

I've been having alot of twinges and aches and pains so i'm hoping that she will arrive this side of her due date as I really don't want to go overdue. I've had the bags half packed for a few weeks now but I went through and made sure i've got everything I think i'm going to need.

I'm just going to list the items i've packed for bubba and I will do a separate blog post about the items i've packed for myself.

My bag is a Cath Kidston bag, it's actually a changing bag. I got it from the Bicester Village outlet a few weeks ago, they no longer have this print online but here it is in a different pattern if you want to check it out. It's a lovely dark pink/berry colour and has a very pretty floral design. Inside you get two pouches one is actually a thermal pouch for food/ bottles and the other is for your nappies/wipes etc, you also get a portable changing mat which is handy. The bag is a nice size not too big and bulky but plenty of room for all the bits you need for bubba.

Now onto the items i've packed inside the bag:

Snowsuit - for the journey home
4 sleepsuits ( range of sizes 3x first size 1x newborn)
4 vests ( 2x newborn 2x first size)
2 hats ( 1x wool 1x jersey)
Scratchmits- Just incase we need them, however most of the sleepsuits have them built in
2x muslin squares
comforter / toy
nappies (i've packed about 12)
wipes - I know you are not meant to use wipes on newborns but our midwife recommended them for that first poo as sometimes cotton wool just isn't enough. Also they are handy for any spillages etc
Cotton Wool
Nappy Bags
Blankets - Bubba is due Nov 4th so I expect it to be quite chilly. I've got 3 blankets ready by my hospital bags and will see what one is most suitable on the actual day depending on the weather. We can always bring them all and just leave them in the car so we have them for the trip home.

I plan on breast feeding so I haven't packed any bottles or milk for this reason. Obviously if you plan on bottle feeding you would need to pack some form of milk. You can buy little ready-made starter packs that they recommend using for the hospital.

I haven't packed any dummies as I don't plan on using them however we do have a few so I might just chuck one in - just incase.

Can you think of anything i've missed? What products did you pack for baby?

What I bought at Bicester Village

Cath Kidston Bag // Cath Kidston Phone Case // Cath Kidston Mug // Ted Baker Make Up Bag // Estee Lauder Double wear // Origins Ginzing Mascara.

I got myself some very good bargains from Bicester Village, I picked up this Cath Kidston bag for £17, the phone case for £12.50 and £4 for the mug.

The Ted Baker make up bag was £14, I payed £11 because they had a student discount offer on yay!!

And finally the beauty bits, The Estee Lauder Double wear was only £19 and the Origins mascara was £12.25

Bicester Village

Today I went along to Bicester Village. The village is located in environment Bicester, just outside Oxford. On arrival there's a carpark at the front and theres valet parking avaliable and they can wash your car for you ;) it's very posh!

Theres loads of amazing brands within the Village for example Mulberry, Ted Baker, Cath Kidston, Gucci, Timberland, Jack Wills, Marc Jacobs and many more.

As it's an Outlet village theres some good bargains to be had, I spotted a fair few good deals. I wanted to visit Ted Baker in particular as i've had my eye on their make up bags. I didn't go into shops like Mulberry or Michael Kors because I didn't want to tease myself.

I had such a lovely day, the sun was out and the village is so lovely, i'd reccomend it and I can't wait to go back.

I love Cath Kidston

You only have to look at my blog to know I love Cath Kidston. My banner is a floral pattern, I have pink fonts and all of my posts have cute floral backgrounds :)  I do love floral patterns. I love shabby chic, vintage style furniture.

Cath Kidston UK Ltd was founded in 1993 when designer Cath Kidston opened a tiny shop in London's Holland Park. She began by selling vintage fabrics, wallpapers and brightly-painted junk furniture she remembered fondly from her childhood. Her clever witty re-working of traditional English country house style meant that her shop soon became a cult success.

Gradually Cath Kidston began to design her own prints and products. One of the first was a printed ironing board cover-practical, quirky and with a distinctive floral print, it has come to epitomise the Cath Kidston look.

Cath Kidston products are just so pretty and such good quality! Their bedding is so thick and comfy and its just gorgeous. I love the antique rose bouquet Duvet cover (the middle image) Its such a lovely floral pattern, I just love the red and pink flowers and I like the white background because it makes the pattern stand out more and its really bright. I love how Cath Kidston products look vintage and shabby chic :) I just love everything in the Cath Kidston section. I really want to buy a night gown like this floral one and some of the polka dot cushions.

My Bedroom

I've seen loads of these posts where bloggers do a post about where they blog from and decided that I wanted to do one too!
I do love my room (when its tidy) Its abit on the small side! but its cosy and warm and I get blog from here lol. The most important parts of my room are my bed and my wardrobe. My wardrobe isn't very big but i'm getting a build in wardrobe fitted soon so hopefully that will enable some storage.
My bed is very important because my rooms small so alot of things for example blogging or uni work gets done on my bed.
I Love Cath Kidston so my bedroom is very floral. My bedding is from Tesco! It was a bargain! I think every blogger actually owns this bedding. My wallpaper is off the internet my momma bought it for me! I just had to have it and I love it so much. I have alot of shabby chic style furniture and accessories in my room which I feel just tie my whole room together.
I love my mirror on my dresser it was from a carboot - I think it was like £5, i've seen similar ones on ebay for like £60 !
My big mirror on my wall was a present from my mom and i love it!
My dressing table was from a vintage furniture shop and my mom painted it white its really nice and i have a basket underneath which has loads of my beauty products in. Thought id include my in drawer organisation which I did the other day its just jewellery and hair bobbles and stuff.
I have loads of junk and storage boxes under my bed because I need all the room I can get haha

hope you like my room :)
