HIGH DEFINITION BROWS COME TO BIRMINGHAM

I went along to Debenhams in Bullring Birmingham last week, HIGH DEFINITION Brows have revealed their new collaboration with Benito Brows. I didn't realise how personal getting your eyebrows done could be. I've been getting my eyebrows done for as long as I can remember, I used to get them threaded but recently started getting them waxed and tinted.

At the event I took a seat, along with a glass of Prosecco and the lovely High Definition Brow Stylist started by tinting my brows, the tint only takes a few minutes and gives the stylist so many more brow hairs to play with. She discussed my brow and what she was going to do. She mentioned leaving some hairs and growing my one side out slightly so they appear more even. She then waxed the brow to get the right shape. Waxing gives a nice straight finish and I think the arch looks better when you have your brows waxed. She then worked into the brow with threading, this blended the brow and made it look more natural. She then tidied up the brow using tweezers and filled the brow using the HD Brow Browtec pencil  . This created a defined shape and the stylist was able to fill in areas that I need to grow out.

I was actually so impressed with the outcome, I didn't know that getting your brows done could be such a personal treatment.  Whenever i've had my eyebrows done before i've never been overly impressed. My one brow is so different to the other one and never really arches and it's shorter than the other. However I left after my HD Brow treatment feeling really happy and I couldn't believe how amazing both of my eyebrows looked. I've found it much easier to apply my brow pencil and love my new brows! I'm going to grow my thinner side out like I was recommended and then I will be going back to HD Brows at Benito brows in Debenhams as I was so happy with the service and i'm scared someone else might ruin my new beautiful eyebrows.

MY TOP BROW PRODUCTS

I like to think my Brows are pretty good! I get compliments about my eyebrows all the time and even the lady at benefit says I have perfect brows! I thought i'd share some of my favourite brow products right now!

I've used brow kits for awhile, I love how everything is all together in a compact and its so simple and easy to use. I'm loving this Soap and Glory one right now! It's really straightforward so anyone can get perfect brows with this. You start with the Gel and apply this to the brow and then apply the powder over the gel for that statement brow. This kit even contains an arch highlighter to define the brow even more. I think this kit is well worth £12* its so easy to use and you create a natural brow for everyday or a more defined brow if you prefer.

I love my Anastasia Brow products! I got these whilst I was in America and I know I will be buying these again! I start by using the Brow Wiz Pencil to get the fine line and draw the shape I desire I then use the brush part of the pencil to brush the hairs upwards and smudge the line in so it looks more natural. I then use the Dipbrow Pomade to fill in the brows. I use my EcoTools Brow brush and start in the middle of the brow, I then apply product to and create my arch and then go back on myself to the start of my brow as this is where I like just a little bit of product.

Another favourite of mine is Eye of Horus brow define* which is really similar to the Anastasia Brow Wiz. Again I use the pencil to define my brow and get the shape right and use the brush to work the product in so my brow appears more natural. The pencil is so easy to use and you get a really good straight line. I use the brush to brush up the hairs which makes it easier to get an idea of the shape you will get when you add your brow product. You can buy Eye of Horus Brow Define at Beauty Bay

REVIEW: MAKE UP REVOLUTION NAKED CHOCOLATE PALETTE

Naked Chocolate Palette - £7.99

So I jumped on the Make Up Revolution band wagon, after the launch of their brush collection I decided to place an order. You can see the brushes here, I did a quick post about my first impressions.

I picked up this palette about reading some amazing reviews. The colours are perfect for me so I just had to order this.

When it arrived I wasn't left disappointed. The colours are amazing, there's a mixture of matte and shimmery shades and there's light to dark shades so you can create so many different looks.

The pigments are so good and i'm really impressed with the quality for the price. There is 3 different I love makeup chocolate palettes to choose from so theres a variety of shades to pick from.

(sorry for this awful eyebrow shot but I really wanted to show you the pigment in the shadows.)

REVIEW: COLLECTION WORK THE COLOUR EYEBROW KIT

Collection work the collection eyebrow kit - £3.99 - Boots

I picked up this eyebrow kit the other day because I'm always on the look out for a good brow kit. I don't tend to spend much on brow kits because once the wax is gone I tend to buy a new one. This brow kit is a little bit different, it comes with a clear mascara rather than a wax. The kit instructs to apply the powder and then use the mascara to set.

The powder is really easy to apply and you only need a small amount, i've been using the middle shade.  The mascara then sets the powder. It lasts all day long, and looks as good as other brow kits i've tried.

At only £3.99 its a great price and a good product. I don't think I would use the other colours however i'm sure other people may use them as eyeshadows or contours maybe?

I'm really happy with this little kit for the money, i'm loving some of Collections products right now, I think they have stepped it up abit.

The packaging is simple, the plastic case isn't the best, mine doesn't actually shut properly however theres a handy little mirror and its a nice size.
