BEAUTY : MY EVERYDAY MAKE UP
22 January 2016
I've been working alot recently so my make ups been pretty boring, just an everyday make up look so I thought i'd share some of my favourite everyday products.
I like to start with my base so right now i'm using the Vichy Dermablend foundation in Porcelain* as my everyday foundation, it's good coverage and really easy to use. It blends so easily which is great for when your in a hurry in the morning. I like that this is a little lighter than my usual foundations because it looks really natural. I'm using the Urban Decay Naked skin concealer to hide any blemishes and then the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer for under my eyes to cover those dark circles.
Contour and highlight. I pretty much reach for this Nars Limited Edition palette, inside is the Laguna Bronzer which is perfect for everyday as its a matte ashy shade and then I have a choice of Blushers and the highlight all together again making my routine faster.
My favourite mascara right now, but it's nearly all gone is the Make Up Forever Smoky Lash *, it gives you nice fluffy smokey lashes. I love it. wish just a couple of strokes my lashes are long but full. I'm still loving the Topshop Kohl liner, I struggle as my eyes are sensitive but this is a lovely creamy liner, it lasts a good few hours and is a bargain. And another trusty faithful is the Rimmel Exaggerate eyes liquid liner, I only buy this liquid liner, I find it easy to apply and again I know my eyes won't react to it.
For my brows i'm using a mixture of the NYX Micro brow pencil, I picked up some NYX bits from The Clothes Show and now you can get it from Selfridges yay!! I'm also still loving the Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade to fill my brows in.
The Urban Decay Smoky palette is my new go to palette for everyday and there's so many shades to choose from.
And my favourite everyday lip colour is still Velvet Teddy from Mac, which I will need to repurchase soon as mine is looking a little worse for wear.
MY TOP BROW PRODUCTS
12 June 2015
I like to think my Brows are pretty good! I get compliments about my eyebrows all the time and even the lady at benefit says I have perfect brows! I thought i'd share some of my favourite brow products right now!
I've used brow kits for awhile, I love how everything is all together in a compact and its so simple and easy to use. I'm loving this Soap and Glory one right now! It's really straightforward so anyone can get perfect brows with this. You start with the Gel and apply this to the brow and then apply the powder over the gel for that statement brow. This kit even contains an arch highlighter to define the brow even more. I think this kit is well worth £12* its so easy to use and you create a natural brow for everyday or a more defined brow if you prefer.
I love my Anastasia Brow products! I got these whilst I was in America and I know I will be buying these again! I start by using the Brow Wiz Pencil to get the fine line and draw the shape I desire I then use the brush part of the pencil to brush the hairs upwards and smudge the line in so it looks more natural. I then use the Dipbrow Pomade to fill in the brows. I use my EcoTools Brow brush and start in the middle of the brow, I then apply product to and create my arch and then go back on myself to the start of my brow as this is where I like just a little bit of product.
Another favourite of mine is Eye of Horus brow define* which is really similar to the Anastasia Brow Wiz. Again I use the pencil to define my brow and get the shape right and use the brush to work the product in so my brow appears more natural. The pencil is so easy to use and you get a really good straight line. I use the brush to brush up the hairs which makes it easier to get an idea of the shape you will get when you add your brow product. You can buy Eye of Horus Brow Define at Beauty Bay

REVIEW: ANASTASIA DIPBROW POMADE
28 April 2015
ANASTASIA DIPBROW POMADE - SEPHORA OR CULT BEAUTY
I recently got back from America, it's gone so fast! Whilst I was there I did some serious shopping most of which was in Sephora, we don't have a Sephora here in the UK so there was some must have products that I wanted to pick up one of which was Anastasia dipbrow pomade. I now know you can also get on Cult Beauty and they deliver to the UK which is great. Sephora do ship to the UK but I think theres a minimum spend.
Dipbrow Pomade is one of those blogger must haves that everyone seems to rave about but then you read some mehh reviews about. I had heard mixed reviews so I wasn't sure about buying it however I went rather CRAZY whilst in the US and just bought everything on my list haha.
Dipbrow Pomade is a brow product, It's kind of like a wax. You apply it to your brows for that filled in effect. I use the Ecotools brush to apply it, the brush is from one of the Starter sets, I'm pretty sure its an angled liner brush however its perfect for brow products. You literally need a tidy bit of product, a little goes a long way! I tend to start mid brow because you don't want loads of product at the start of your brow, I then pull the product along the brow to create my arch and then fill in the start of the brow so its not really filled in as much.
It's seriously so so easy to use! I have been using Anastasia Brow Wiz aswell, so I start with Brow Wiz to draw the lines I want to stay within, this creates that neat line under the brow and then use dipbrow to fill.
I have to say I love both products and I will repurchase! I know there's similar products that are easier to get hold of but now i've found Cult Beauty stock them I know I will be buying both products again.
NOVEMBER WISH LIST
12 November 2014
Olivia Burton Watch // Nars Virtual Domination Cheek Palette // F&F Roll Neck Jumper//
Topshop Check skirt with lace // Chunky Boots from Pretty Little Thing // Anastasia DipBrow
With Christmas just around the corner i've been doing a spot of window shopping, i'm loving these roll neck jumpers right now. These ones from F&F clothing at tesco are a bargain at £8 each and come in a few different colours. I love this skirt that Llymlrs recently mentioned on her blog. I'm after a pair of chunky boots, these ones from pretty little thing are a little too high, I want something similar but not as high. The Olivia Burton watch is at the top of my wish list, I have 2 already but they have now released silver face watches!! All of my jewellery is pretty much silver apart from my watches so it would be great to have a silver one. The Anastasia dip brow is a product i've wanted to try for a while, i'm tempted to wait until I go to America to buy it. I'm loving the Nars Holiday Collection especially this gorgeous blush palette which is such a great value for money
