FASHION: SUNDAY STROLLS

JUMPER: PRIMARK
JEANS: NEW LOOK
RINGS: PANDORA
BRACELET: PANDORA
BOOTS: TRUFFLE
COAT: H&M

We went for a lovely Sunday stroll yesterday. We took Amelia to our local park, we had a nice stroll around the duck pond, she was asleep (obv) but it was a lovely way to spend our Sunday afternoon. We went to my moms for our sunday dinner

I'm so in love with this jumper from Primark, it's such a gorgeous colour and I love the lace detailing and it was a bargain when it scanned through at £5. I bought some new black jeans, these are the supersoft super stretch jeans from New Look. My maternity jeans are now too big but i'm not back down to my pre-pregnancy size so needed to grab a new pair. These boots are old but they are really sturdy and i've seen studded boots have made a comeback

It was bright today but very chilly so I popped my H&M coat on, I'm super excited for the summer.
I can't wait for picnics and walking Amelia around the park in the sun.

I'm hoping to be back blogging more regulary and now the weather is brightening up I will drag Clint out to take some more outfit photos, even if they are just of my comfy mom outfits.

FASHION: EMBROIDERED COLD SHOULDER TOP AND CORD SKIRT

TOP: PRIMARK // SKIRT: PRIMARK // NECKLACE: PRIMARK // BOOTS: NEW LOOK // WATCH : JOHNNY LOVES ROSIE * // JACKET: NEW LOOK // SCARF : H&M

I was so cold whilst having these photos taken today, thats devotion! It was absolutely freezing so no idea why I thought i'd wear this cold-shoulder top from Primark for todays outfit. However I love this top and i'm so glad Clint picked it from Primark. I love my cord skirt which is also from Primark, i've been wearing this so much since I got it. I wore this with my Jacket from New Look and my big grey scarf from H&M which is so cosy. We did a spot of shopping today and I picked up a new coat which I will show you soon, it's a nice cosy but practical coat with a hood! I also got some new black boots from Primark and I picked up a pair of those basic £5 ugg style boots from Primark just to wear around the house or to the shop so that my feet are nice and snug!

I am putting my Christmas Gift Guides together over the next week or so and they should be live towards the end of November/ Early December.

LIFESTYLE: KEEPING YOUR HOME WARM THIS WINTER

I can't believe it's Autumn already, the leaves are all orange and falling off the trees, the temperature has dropped and those nights are getting dark earlier. I thought i'd pop together a few tips and tricks to keeping your house warm for less this winter.
 - having the heating on a timer. Do you really need it on all day when no one is at home? Pop it on timer so its on for and hour or so in the morning and before you go to bed, you just need to take the chill out of the house.

- closing doors, I know it seems like an obvious one but I always have my living room door open in the summer and closed in the winter just to keep the heat in.

- put a jumper or a dressing gown on! why sit there in shorts and a vest with the heating on. Pop a dressing gown on, you'll warm up much quicker than the central heating will!

- Using products like MagnetGlaze to block out any draughty windows! They use acrylic plastic sheets which you can get made to measure, they are so simple to install and it reduces the amount of heat lost through the windows. It's a really cost effective way of insulating your house with prices starting at as little as £40. MagnetGlaze is avalible here at The Plastic People website.

-getting a draught excluder for your doors, you can get these from home stores and they are usually really cheap, less that £5. They are just a cheap way to block the gap under your doors.

- I found in my rooms that have laminate or wooden flooring that they can feel alot colder during those winter months, getting a nice fluffy warm carpet or rug is a cheap way to make a room feel instantly warmer. Thicker curtains is another way to warm up a room !

-don't block your radiators with big furniture, this will block the heat coming out. Try having a little move around even if it's just for those colder months.
